It is probably best that your sister looks after him a few times so that he is used to it. Maybe not a sleep over to start with by build it up gradually as many babies arrive in the wee hours.

Good Morning

All the ladies with sick children, I hope they get better soon
Julz I hope you feel better soon

Vix, it is great to see you here. I hope you enjoy the shopping. Am i seeing you at Laliek's babyshower?

Ally all the food and wine sounds great - you go girl.

Nel - William also say that he and daddy got a "sussie" in there stomachs. He does understand that there is a "sussie" but I can not wait to see his face when I bring her home - he loves babies

You guys must help me. William has never slept over at anyone. But I need to do something before this baby comes
My parents are to old to look after him for a whole night/day or how every long, they can do 2/3 hours at the most.
My sister lives next door to my parents and she can look after him, but she leaves for work at 6 - W is not even awake by then.
So i have thought of the following, if I go in labour during the day - then W is at school then DH can go home and attend to him and sleep at home (although he can sleep over at genesis). Then he can take him to school and that will work (this is the best option)
But what happens if I go into labour at night, and we have to move him to my sisters house, I am petrified to do this.
Must I let him sleep over at my sisters house, so he can get use to it - or what must I do

have a great day

Hi Gals
I am having a pity party this morning. I feel so crap and the meds are making me feel ill. Dylan had a tummy issue from his meds so I kept him home today which is the last thing I needed but anyway the maid is here so I couldn't have slept in regardless. Dylan didn't have a great night either. There is a wonderful storm here which is nice but it blew over the umbrella base and all and my puppy just shredded it.

So I have a toddler and a puppy up for adoption. Any takers. PLEASE.

Vix so nice to chat again. Glad C is on the mend today and enjoy your clothing shopping. FB>\

Lisha so pleased Shrey is being good for his mommy!

I am going to chat later.

Hey ladies

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Julz, Zee & Vix so that you have sick babies :( Hope you all had a decent nights sleep and that the kiddo's and yourselves are feeling better today xxx

Ally sounds like you had a fab weekend ... lol I agree with Simone that I'm glad I don't eat foie gras then

Nelria lmao at Xen coming out of Lea's tummy ... too cute!!!
Also agree that it's really nice to see everyone grow up and with families.

Vix so glad you popped in. Good to hear you & the boys are doing well.

Simone & Mandy so excited for both of you this week xxx Cannot wait to see the scans.

Zee wow time for names already ... very exciting.

Simone lol @ Addy claiming her hitting you was an accident ... they are very manipulative these days ;)

Not much to report. Shrey is doing well. Being good mostly lol. Yesterday he had a nice long afternoon nap so dh & I watched a movie.
Can finally start counting down for our trip YAY

Hmm well then I'm glad I don't eat foie gras...

Zee how is Ziani now? Shame man...must suck to see her like this:(

Vix my friend...you're back!!!! The twins are doing so well hey???? Awesome! Hope C is doing a bit better now?

Julz hope u and Dylan are better as well.

I think this baby is trying to help me lose weight. I can't eat ANYTHING! Besides not wanting food at all except when I'm starving...I ate a sweet earlier, puke...some ice cream, puke. I don't know when I've eaten so little in my life! Seriously need to get the vit b6 tomorrow just to help somehow. Energy levels are low. Otherwise I'm just glad as this nastiness is all a sign if a healthy pregnancy:)

Scan in 2 days!!! Yay! Mandy then 2 days for yours!!!! Woo hoo!!

Zee...u haven't spoken about ANY names?

Nelria glad u are well and the kiddies are well:) lol @ Xen coming out of her tummy!

Oh Addison hit me earlier..not hard, but I ask her to apologise and she does. Then she thinks about it and tells me: it was an accident so I don't say sorry to you!

The nerve! And it wasn't a freakin accident! Eish!

Julz, I also have a bit of an ethical issue with the Foie Gras but if I'm served it then I will eat it. :) It is delicious though.

Lelani, Foie Gras is Goose Liver. Very controversial food, they have to force feed the Geese to get the liver big enough and fatty enough.

The Land Rover experience was amazing. The food at the Mount Grace was TO DIE FOR! Had the best Gnocchi and Creme Brulee of my life so far! And then got the most awesome goodie bag stuffed with olive oil, Verlaque balsamic reductions, Scanpan knives, NoMu hot chocolate, Le Creuset Strawberry casserole etc. Amazing!

Vix, sorry about C, hope he feels better soon.

Ok, the kids are freaking out, let me go see what's up!

galoooooooooooo ladies

everything fine on this side had a lovely braai with old friends yesterday and they all have babies now so nice to see families grow and people mature

also saw vix on thursday and had great catch -up

ally - what is foie grass???? lol

yoza - lea also latched on to me and xen is now papa's boy - but not according to her he is HERS and she told me the other day he came out of HER tummy LOL

nicole - re sleeping my best advise is to kill and break the cycle u know how we wake at certain times in the mornings etc kids also get into routine what i would suggest is a good pep talk about how he is big boy now and to sleep all alone - maybe get a new nightlight? teddy, blanky, toy etc - then settle him with full tummy enough liqueds and a sedative (u can use the one mandy suggested? cant recall the name or my chemist said allergex also causes drowsiness about 3.5ml I think - talk to chemist about drowsiness meds that cant harm) - repeat meds for 3 nights or so to pull him through longer stretches to brake cycle of wakes - when he calls i suggest go tell him sternly - NO we ALL sleep in own beds and dont give in - eventually just like weaning of waking for milk he will give up - but meds make the process easier and quicker - worked like bomb with xen in 3 nights

julz and vix and zee - shame on sick baba's man it sucks

simone - sooooooooo cute re dolly

christi - mmmmmmmmmmm sticky job situation shame

ok both sleeping now so catching up on pvr yeyyyyyyyyyyyy
