Julz sorry about your rough morning, i was also pulling my hair this morning as we were already late and K REFUSED to put his underpants and shorts back on after taking a wee. It took 10min just to put 2 items of clothing on...........grrrrrr

Simone did you get an early night and lots of rest? Not to long now before scan day....flip im excited lol.

afu, all well, ladies i really dont know what to do, K has been in his own bed and room since Feb but he wakes up so many times a night and INSISTS on me sleeping with him, if i dont he wakes up every hour. I dont mind now and again, but it really uncomfortable but i also miss my bed with hubby. I try and pat him to sleep, he falls asleep EVENTUALLY only to wake up an hour later shouting "mom" over and over until I go to him. urggggg any advice would be apperciated.

So what do you ladies have planned for the weekend? not much here, DH works tomorrow so want to go to the crazy store sometime today and stock up on some paint and stickers etc so can do some nice craft time with K, then Saturday eve dh and I have decided to get some pizza's and do a dvd marathon and then Sunday we are off to the Lion Park if the weather permits.

Dylan cried because he wanted to go to Zian and see the dogs this morning. Okay he cried about everything, but me thinks he may be dissapointed to learn that the meet is at home. Tough.

Morning! oooh we were rewarded with a good sleep last night!

Cam is now sleeping with a VERY dim blue light, so he is almost in a dark room and I am feeling like he should be sleeping longer but alas.. its is not to be! This morning, 04h45... however, we all find a way to adapt, and I LOVE my earplugs. So I put them in and roll over and get him at about 6.. when its time to get up for the grown ups!

Julz - its funny - although NOT funny about your knee damage due to getting the dogs out. It reminds me of my moms big toe! My dad got home rather drunk one night and my mom got really cross and they were fighting and she kicked him!!! he to this day doesnt remember it ( LUCKILY) but she broke her toe!! now everytime it is about to rain, her toe hurts! and she tells us too, that her husband broke her toe!! lies lies lies! Hope you feel better soon hon!

Dylan with the lipstick is soooo previous! and Neil sounds like such a grounded AWESOME Dad.

Simone, I always think the wait after an interview is the worst! you sit there and wonder and wonder, and especially being the first that they interviewed, the wait is bound to be LOONNNGGGG!

helen - hope Ninas ears are betting better and that Oliver is sleeping for his mom!?? When does Oliver start playgroup?

Sorry, I've probably missed at least the last 10 pages of chat
I am actually supposed to study so will just do a quick update and not reply, SORRY.

Went to the gynae on the 10th, was 12w4d. Baby measured just over 6cm and was extremely active! Heartbeat was 162 Doc said it looked like a little boy, but we must please remember that its very early and can maybe change.... He did see an extra membrane which he was a bit concerned about but then he did an internal scan to see better and said it didn't look like it would cause problems
He gave me some antibiotics & cough medicine which helped a lot for my cold but on Monday night I started having ear pain, and on tuesday doc said middle-ear infection... aaagggg... another course of antibiotics, really hope I will get better now!

Iris has also been sick, had a snotty nose for a while and then developed a fever last friday, couldn't get it down, so took her to the doc on Sunday, also an ear infection.... She is finishing her antibiotics today so hopefully she will be ok now.

Things at work are still awful, looking for something else desperately, but its very difficult and being pregnant is not helping Thinking of just leaving it and staying at home until after the birth but DH is not very keen on the idea, strange how quick one gets used to the extra income from a second salary...

Ok, well hope everyone else is doing well, let me hit the books!

So tired I could honestly jump into bed now...Addy fast asleep, but I want to watch the Mentalist before bed...hopefully by 9pm I'll be in bed. Sleep tight ladies and hope the kids are good to us:-)

Lisha so true. We are very fortunate to have healthy kids. I slammed my knee in the door trying to keep the wet dogs out of our house. I blame them.

It is now that I am sorry I gave Dylan his Dad's surname. Dylan van der Merwe is harder to say than Dylan Hall.

As for letterland. I am emailing them to find out. I know paperweight has them at times but I have never seen any in stock. Just a note, they have changed many of the characters so W is now walter walrus. We have also been told not to use capital letters at all and to pronounce the letters like a as in apple.

It amazes me how great Neil is with Dylan. I always put Dylan on the couch for his naps, but Neil decided no he must nap in his bed and Dylan cried so much but within a day he is in a routine and climbs onto his bed with his book and is asleep within 5 minutes. Bliss.
