Hi everyone

I have forgotten how $%#$$ it is to wake up every two hours because that was my night with Ziani. I just couldn't manage to keep her fever down, I tried Empapep (only had the 250 mg) and Ponstan, she finally cooled down at around 4. Shame, she has been lying on the couch the entire day and has now gone down for yet another nap. Feel so sorry for her, nothing worse than to see your child sick.

Ally, the food sounds great! Glad you are enjoying your new career so much.

Vix, sorry about C, hope he gets better soon xxx The twins are doing great!

Julz, hope you and Dylan feel better soon. Bad to look after them when you don't feel yourself as well.

I'm not even going to attempt to catch up on the 2-3w i've missed, far too much and i'm too busy to be sat here on Moomie really but i turned internet on to look up something on my website and what do you know i automatically clicked Moomie in the bookmarks so i felt it must be fate that I'm supposed to pop in quickly.

The boys are all well, growing fast!

C has been sick since friday so taking him to paed on Monday.

Alex started maneuvering his walking ring around the house today, not even 6m old and my little premie is well on track.

Jono started pushing his legs straight to stand now so he's catching up slowly but surely.

both boys are on solids full time now and they just love it!

Lisha- 2 weeks from now and you'll already be on your holidays!!!!! bet you're excited!

Julz- sorry to hear you guys are so sick but glad you found a new dr.

Ally- your meal sounds divine! i love foie gras, i spent many years touring france and had some stunning food there.

Simone- Addy sounds adorable with her doll.

Hi Ladies

I feel really bad but I had to cancel this mornings meet. Dylan has been sick all week on and off but last night his fever spiked at 39.5 and then some and he was crying all night. My flu is really horrible too so I felt really sick and I thought it was time to head back to the doc.

I visited a new doc in Tygervalley. I actually wanted to take Dylan to the paed yesterday but he was okay and the fever was better. Typical. Anyway the docs I have been going to are okay but they don't have an ear thermometer which is annoying as there is no way you can get a decent reading with an underarm therm. at this age. the new doc was really great and Dylan didn't cry at all. Dylan clearly prefers male doctors like this one and his paed so I think I have found a great one and it is in a medical centre so they have a day hospital etc.

Turns out Dylan has an ear infection and tonsilitis so not a happy chappy. I have a sinus inf now. My chest is sounding better but still a bit stuffy so I am on a pump for a month and a nose spray plus more antibiotic. We bought the whole pharmamcy today.

Zee sorry Ziani is sick again. She is too cute and I am so chuffed that she is excited about her baby brother. Glad the scan went well.

Ally Neil is jealous of the Landy thingy. Your dinner sounded amazing. Nothing better than fine dining with great wine. Only problem is that it makes other food and wine seem boring.

As for Foie Gras the thought of it put me off and I hate liver, BUT I had it ones at a wine paring and oh my hat, it was the most amazing thing I had ever eater. Sorry poor Ducks.

I am going to curl up on the couch and try to rest now. Dylan and i slept from 3 to 6 this afternoon and he is back in bed sleeping.

Ally IF I had any interest in food I'd say everything sounds fab except the pigeon and foie gras..I know its a delicacy, but I can't imagine it. Lobster and lamb...yum!

Had garlic bread for supper...oh wrong move!! But my husband is so sweet...rubbed my back while I was sick and then takes me to shower, washes me from head to toe, then runs to clean toilet. I told him I wasn't sick (he even felt my forehead...lol). He is such a gem...I just never get over how lucky I am.

Otherwise all good. Addison is adorable and I'm just loving her to bits minus the stubborness sometimes! At my friend's place today imadam asks for a cup of tea.a real little madam!lol.

Zee shame poor ziani sick again ! Glad she is loving the idea of her boetie !

Ally all I can say is WOW WOW WOW.! Sounds like you are having the best time ! Let us know how the landrover experience went too !

Yoza, I hope you feel better soon. I've been flu-ish for weeks now. But never sick..just blocked nose, slight cough. It's irritating!

The Saxon was AMAZING. I've never had a meal like that in my life. 8 courses, each paired with wine. Things like Lobster caviar with butter poached lobster with Beluga Caviar, Roast wild Pigeon with pan-fried Foie Gras and pumpkin brulee and confit Lamb shoulder...I mean, Really? And then Abi (editor of TASTE) invited me and C for the TASTE/Land ROver experience tomorrow. We get to drive the new Land Rovers, etc. Last night I had to sit back and just take it all in for a while. I was at a chef's table, sitting in the middle of the Saxon's kitchen watching the chefs cook, at a table with Abigail Donnely, one of the most incredible food editors ever drinking expensive wine and eating the most fantastic food...and last year this time I was doing interviews for Sales rep work I was so desperate. Even thinking about it now, I feel overwhelmed with gratitude and I can't believe my life has changed like this. I am really so blessed.

Just back home from the doctor, Ziani is sick again, faringitis now and she's on another round of antibiotics. Doctors are really making a fortune from us this month.

Any hoo, baby is well and growing nicely. Went for a scan on Thursday. Time is really flying by - DH and I need to start touching on the subject of names again ....

Simone, Addy is so cute with the doll. Z brings her baba to me and then I have to watch her and when she returns from "work" she asks if the baby slept, ate and "poefed" ...
I love this age. Shame she is so excited about her "boetie" .. When we went to the gynae, she asked him if her boetie is healthy
