Hi girls.

So I spoke to my uncle about this whole charity thing and he said that I'm aiming for WAYYY too big for my first event. He says the amount of "return on investment" I'll have to be able to promise these sponsors will be in the millions! He says I'll need to get media partners first to even secure sponsors etc. and then he brought up issues of Public liability etc. etc. So now I'm really scared to do it. He says if I want to do it, i have to start small. Which got me a little discouraged and I have to re-think everything. So I'm putting it on the back burner for now, maybe next year or so.

I got feedback from yet ANOTHER publisher wanting the ideas for my book so they can discuss it in their meetings. The only crap thing is that the meetings are ALWAYS in another month or so. I'm getting so irritated. And then the one guy that is always so eager to do a book never gets back to me or always replies by saying we'll have to be very careful with our budget, making me feel like it was my idea to approach them, which it wasn't. IT's kind of a Hurry up and Wait game this publishing thing! arrgggg Can you tell I'm frustrated today?

Vix, so glad C is better with you now. The twins also went through a 'f-word' phase but we quickly nipped it in the bud by saying it's a naughty word. NOW, everytime they hear it they say "No, sis! That's a naughty word!" lol And I was so shocked last week, I had been watching FRIENDS while the twins were playing in the lounge and that night, Abi was in bed saying "Oh my God, Oh my God" I was SO SHOCKED! Also told her VERY quickly to stop that. Just shows you what they pick up from what we watch!!

Hi Ladies

Just wanted to pop in and say i'm sorry for being so quiet the last while. I was on a course Wed/Thursday last week and then Friday I was off sick because on The few nights preceding that I had imense pain in my face which I again was thinking was sinus pain"Just had a major sinus infection" But the pain got worse and worse and then the swelling started and then I knew I must have another Abscess either in my sinus cavity again or in a tooth. Last year september I had one above a tooth that had had a Root canal previously and so they couldn't treat me at the ordinary denstist and they had to send me to a Specialist surgeon to cut me open and fix it. It was aweful and not something I ever wante to repeat so when this happened I immediately imagined the worst. I went to the dentist on Friday morning for an xray and she confirmed the abcess but said I didn't need the surgery as there wasn't a root canal on that tooth but that she needed to perfom it. She got rid of the abscess but I must go in 2 weeks to another specialist in Root canals because apprantly this tooth needs 3 root canals to be done it. Pain is gone (Just still tender on my face, she says it had started going into my face muscles and it must work it's way out there and when it has the swelling will be gone 100% and the tenderness too) The thing apprantly with this abscess this time is that is started to drain itself and the last one didn't and it's apparantly very dangerous. She said it can get into your brain and affect your eyes etc. I really hope this is the last. She says she can't understand why the nerves in my teeth are dying because my teeth are in very good condition. I want to do some research because I am wondering if this isn't some kind of "Side effect" of the Rheumatoid Arthritis that I suffer from. Hope not, then I am having all my teeth removed and getting falsies Hahahah, NOT!!

Sorry for the selfish post. My Kids are back to their normal selves again and Reece is starting to get back into a sleeping routine, I am also wondering if all the antibiotics he has been on were causing him to not want to sleep etc.

Vix, I am glad that C has had a change of heart, sometimes kids just need to have a little "Shock" to get them back into the normal way of behaving. A new Sibling never mind too is bound to bring on all sorts of abnormal behaviour. I trust it will only get better from now on.

Ally_R I didn't catch you on Pasella but I'm sure it was good.

Vix not too sure about those teething nappies, perhaps just for safe measure give him a probiotic. I do know some babies teeth early so it could be from this early on but I'm not sure if 2 weeks maybe too long for runny stools.
I am so pleased that C has finally come around and gotten over whatever resentment he's been harbouring. I'm sure it must have been a very difficult time for you and you sound so pleased and relieved despite the exhaustion xxx

AFM I have a sick toddler. Definitely a cold this time with some congestion. He's doing okay but just very mavas at times ... kind of frustrating and tiring. I get so cross at times cos I just cannot get a break. I am the last one to sleep and the first one up with him at his insistance Last night was bad - he was refusing to go to bed - 9:30 I had enough and took him kicking and screaming to the room and just held him in bed till he stopped his crying and fell asleep. Not sure but I think his meds are affecting his behaviour somehow so decided to just give him demazin instead for the cold from today.

Feels like winter is definitely in now ... very cold and lots of rain over the weekend.

Loads to do this week and next because of the short week and looks like lots of people are going to be sick or at least pretending to be sick with all the holidays coming up.

Oh Vix wanted to say, K had teething nappies at 4 months, he actually got his first two teeth together at 4.5 months, so it is possible.

afu, had an alright weekend, started with a headache on saturday afternoon and still had it when i woke up on sunday so took pain pills but the pain became so intense all of a sudden i didnt know what to do with myself, went to bed early last night and the pain is not to bad this morning.

We got the car on Friday, Oh man..... i love it, drove the majority of the weekend.

So looking forward to this upcoming long weekend

Thanks for your kind words and support. The weirdest thing happened on Saturday. In the morning he was being exceptionally nasty to me hitting me for no reason when suddenly he started saying "f**k off" with every hit, I was flabbergasted because we don't use that word in this house, he must have learnt it from school, well I flipped and sent him to the naughty corner, when he stopped crying I had a serious talk with him and told him he made me very angry when he said those bad words and if I hear it again he will stand in the naughty corner every 5 min until he stops saying it. For the first time in months he seemed to listen to me and actually looked like he felt bad (maybe he could see I was very shocked and sad at what he did?) Well here comes the weird bit, from sat lunchtime suddenly it's "mommy please get me this" "mommy come play with my toys" "Mommy pick me up......please mommy" I am suddenly the be all and end all of everything. It's like someone just flicked the 'love mommy' switch back on??????? And he has started getting rough with the boys in place of me? Now suddenly for no real reason he's acting like a more typical jealous sibling telling me to put the babies down so we can dance and play. I'm EXHAUSTED but so so so very happy agan, I just really hope it lasts!

Now I need some advice from moms who lived through 'teething' nappies.......... Jono has had a runny tummy for almost 2 weeks now, no temp, no other symptoms and only about 6 nappies a day and small amounts but it is soooooo sour which is what makes me think it might be teething nappies but I can't be 100% sure because 9 never ever had a single sour or runny nappy so this is new territory for me. My question is can they really get teething nappies from 4 months? And should it really continue for weeks without a single stiff poop? I even started him on a little porridge the past few days in the hope it might help give a bit of substance to the stool but nope, still runny and sour. I stopped giving the Salex spray in case it was that but no change. He is so red raw around the testiclals, I tried all the best bum creams and they did nothing even antepeol so I used Medaspor which helped for 2 days but now it's not making any difference again....... I am now at a loss, tried maizena too, am doing it at every change before applying cream. I can't think what else might take the redness down. His actual bum area is fine it's just all around his testicles. Any advice welcome please ladies.

Zee- funny you mention wanting to drop Z on the road side, I threatened C with the same thing on wednesday I was soooooo anmgry with him. I feel sorry for DH being rejected, I can honestly say it's HORRIBLE!
