Morning ladies

Christi glad things at work are a bit better:-)

Zee sorry Ziani (and you) are battling like this. Hope that she is 100% soon so preggy mommy can get some rest.

Nelria....family arguments SUCK and more so when living together! Had my mom threaten to take her stuff and walk to heaven alone knows where....she is super sensitive...so I actually suck up anything I have problem with now and say nothing! Hope we can afford bond this year and then we can buy house and leave them renting the house we're in...lol.

2km...welcome. We're a great bunch of ladies here....very supportive.

Lisha I hope Shreyan isnt coming down with anything. Perhaps too much time in wind playing and screaming yesterday.

Vix are we seeing a pic of these ugly cookies?

lelani hope you're feeling better today my friend...*hugs*

Nicole how was photography last night? Did u recycle a pic of K?

AFU....I dont like to complain about my child....but WOW SUPER BRAT since dad left. I havent been disciplining her as much as I would have if her dad was here as I know she misses him stacks....but I may have done more harm than good! I get told: No SIMONE Stop it! (If I try to reprimand her) Answer for everything! *sigh* A bit frustrated...and her not taking naps in the day...makes her kidzilla by the time I get home...whiney, crying, moaning.....

Okay...not that bad all the time....but flip...I just wanna whack her arse everytime I see those naughty tears starting. Today though...if naughty...she'll be getting the hiding of her life...I have had enough now!

G and I had a bit of a tiff last night....feeling really down today...but dont really wanna get into it. Things were too perfect and happy and flirty....so something has to happen to pi$$ me off! But I have moved on...just need to start feeling 'happier' again.

I have gone crazy with new undies...got another new set today...am shocked to find nice undies in the super sizes at woolies...lol...so I grab like it's not gonna be there tomorrow! (Lelani u know how stressed I was!)

Hi gals,

2KM- welcome to the best group on the forum, these gals are so great, no one is judgemental only helpful and supportive. I think you probably know who I am but here's a little background on me just in case:

I'm Vickie (Vickie Whitehead on FB) 28 yrs young, Crazy Brit, absolutely stunning yummy mommy, totally have everything under control, absolutely hillarious personality and generally full of cr@p! No seriously I am the mad crazy one but lately I'm just too exhausted to exist never mind have fun. Christopher is my eldest, he's 2 and a half this month (oh goodness where did the time go?) And then the tweenies are Alexander and Jonathan who are 4m already (even more so where did the time go, soon I'll be 6m post C-sec and have no excuses not to start those tummy crunches.......) I stay in Benoni JHB

Hey Vix , thanks for that very nice welcome. Yes I do know who you are but I have up until now not know much of your background so it's good to have you tell me all!! Seriously don't know how you find time to bake Cookies with a 2 year old and 4 month old Twins, sounds a bit Superwomany to me... you go Girl!!

Ok Poo, I know Poo, I deal with alot of Poo infact, Poo and the cleaning off of it off nappies is my business. You can tell me nothing about that Darlings.... Potty Training pants are going to be a Breeze!!!

Hi gals,

2KM- welcome to the best group on the forum, these gals are so great, no one is judgemental only helpful and supportive. I think you probably know who I am but here's a little background on me just in case:

I stay in Benoni JHB

I have absolutely no advice on toddler sleeping or eating, of late I feel like I have lost all control, autority and respect from my toddler and nothing works.

So C is off school today because he has a horrible chesty cough and slight fever (I'm totally going to take shares in Panado with all these fevers in my house) so I want to see how he is today and if he gets worse I'll take him to the Paed tomorrow morning. So my planned day of housework is out the window and I sit with 3 crying kids for the day woooooo hooooooo joyous times (remember Vix it's a BLESSING!!!!!!!)

The weather here is a big pile of Pants! Dirty ones at that!

O.k that reminds me of 2 things:

Christi- my photoshoot has moved to next sat now cos this damn weather, tell me what time do you get back from your course? I'm actually thinking you guys must just go ahead and have your meet when it suits and I'll catch you all next time cos Tertia wants to do the shoot at 10 and I can't really hang around with the kids too long so then I'll probably miss everyone anyways.

Dirty Pants...... C has come home from school with a plastic bag containing poo pants every day this past week. I don't know why suddenly he's having poo accidents, he has been fine for weeks. But I just wash the pants you gals know me, I'm not afraid of a little bit of poo, C has given me many poo experiences some human some dog, I can handle anything by now. He pooed on the grass again on sunday and it was all down his legs too so I went in to get a plastic sac and wipes and when I came out he was rubbing it all over his legs, I asked him why he said the flies were biting him (why is human poo so much more appealing to flies than dog poo?)

Zee- sorry to hear Ziani is so sick! Hope you get some rest soon!

Ankia- Yay on team pink (totally Jealous :-( ) so so happy for you getting your pigeon pair!

Julz- grrrr on ADSL line, I don't like the naughty puppy stage, it's a bit like the human baby stage, you have to go through it to get to the nice stage.

Lisha- I forgot you asked why I'm spotting so soon after AF, well besides for blaming syncronizing with you gals I did query it with my OB/GYN last month and he said exactly this " what did you expect? In the past 2 years you have carried 3 testosterone filled baby boys do you really think your body will go staright back to it's youthful regular nice cycles? Give it time my dear if it's still bothering you at your yearly check up we'll look into it" and that pretty much shut me up LOL but I suppose it's so true and having been steralized now I no longer take any pill so my hormones do their own wild things.

As for your discussion about which sex for third child....... Guess some of us are just not lucky enough to choose if we even have a 3rd child LOL I'm so used to boys by now but the only way I would have another child would be IF I could guarentee it was a girl and only 1 at that and still only if I won the lottery or something, we'll struggle to give the 3 we already have the best educations I'm hate to add another into the mix right now. I want my boys to be able to go to university if that's what they want, I would love to see them in high well respected professions, none of my family has ever done that, I did 3m of college before deciding I needed to work to bring home money.

Errrrr what else, who am I forgetting?

Lelani- wish I could send you a batch of these hideously ugly cookies C and I just baked, one look and you'll be RAFLYAO we can call them "cheer Anutie Lani up cookies" Hugs to you xxxxx miss you tons!

Ah, thank you ladies for all your great replies and welcomes, I really do appreciate it. Nelria, what you spoke about regarding the sleeping and the firm returning to bed, that is exactly how it has been playing out. We did Sleep training with my daughter the same way so we are quite waxed at it but she was so easy and never gave us trouble. He gets returned to bed every 2 mins for about 3 hours a night before he eventually does fall asleep. I just want to quickly add though that for the last 2 nights he has been staying put in his cot and falling asleep on his own again and this is since he got his New Build a Bear Jack Russel pup Jake. Now I put him down with his milk after a little cuddle like always but then give him Jake and he takes jake and then lies there for about an hour talking to the puppy and singing happy birthday to him and eventually falls asleep, it's too cute and I am so happy at the thought that this might have fixed the problem.

As for Food,, JOng, I can't even remember all the tricks I have tried. I think I have done it all. I would appreciate all your brainstorming though, if I have already tried it i might just try it again so please any ideas are welcome.

Whooo hooo Ankia on Team Pink, It's awesome to have a Girly!!! You are going to see just how much easier Girls are than Boys. I sometimes Wish I had had my Boy first and then my daughter because for me it was a bit of a Baptism of Fire after I had had my easy easy baby daughter and then this little Terrorist son who does all the Classic Boy things that they warn you about.

To the rest of the ladies, I havn't had a chance to really browse the thread and find out all about you, I will do my best to try and catch up.

Again thank you for the Warm Welcome.

Good Morning

2km, I have noticed that William eats much better after I have taken him off Nan. He still drink bottle twice a day(cows milk), with afternoon nap and bedtime nap, both bottles at 250 ml. I was also worried about what he was eating, she he was on homepathic (spelling) medicine, to make him hungry, www.naturalkids.co.za/naturalkids/kiddie...appetite_booster.php
I have stopped that now, and he eats well, not good but better.
In the morning before school het gets Cheerios (his favourite pappies), then at school, he gets a sandwich, with fruit, a full cooked lunch and then a sandwich again in the afternoon.
If he is in the mood he will choose what he wants to eat, I do not force him, and he likes 2 min noodles (eats the whole packet)
Tomatoes, fish fingers, whole boiled egg. Beet root.
But he does not eat alot in the evening.
I also give him biostrath (spelling) in the morning.

I say prepare his faourite for dinner and put it in front of him, and then you add something that he does not normally eat.
Does he go to creche or daymother (does he eat there?)

I he also drink alot of formula, try first growth, it tastes like formula and it is just as good.

William drank about 1 l of milk before he went to bed, and I said that it must stop now, and it took us 3 nights of screaming, and now he does not ask for more.

Christi, we also have a birthday party Saturday afternoon, so I am sorry I can not make it. But I really like to meet all of you.

Zee - I am walking around on the clouds, I am so excited about this little gril.

AFU - I am feeling great, no complaints.
William is doing well, he is so good with the potty training.
Otherwise all is fine

Have a great day
