Welcome 2KM!!! My boy also loves to eat scrambelled eggs, and toast most nights lol. Hope somebody can help you with your solution, i have to lie with my son at night to get him to sleep else he also escapes from his bed. Ouch on the stiches, okay let me introduce myself

I am Nicole have a son who is 2 years and 4 months by the name of Keiran, i am married and work has a Business/transaction consultant in East London.

The last time i weighed K he was 13.6kgs, dont think he has changed much in weight.

I see most of us have had a horrid poo experiance.....

Simone that is typical game, we also bought our fridge there and after it broke down (still under warrenty) and all the hoo haa just to get it repaired i vowed i would NEVER purchase any appliances from them again as they are brillant when you want to buy something but flippin useless when there is a problem with appliance

K has been so cute lately and loves singing us songs that he has learnt from school. He has now started asking in the morning "mommy wheres my coffee?" lol so milo it is........

They gave Dylan morphine drops and an hour later he was still bouncing round. Doctor was amazed so they gave him a shot of something really hectic and knocked him out. He would never have sat still for stitches.

Taking them out was horrible though and I think they should have knocked him out again.

Argh, we are having the stitches removed on Saturday I really hope it goes quickly. Shame, It must be really traumatic for them. Let shop our Kids don't get into too many more predicaments requiring stitches soon.

Hi thanks for the invite but i have a super dooper busy saterday this week. Have a hair appointment at 09:00 in Somerset west then getting ready for a dinner i am hosting in the evening. Sounds like fun though and as we live so close to on another we should definately do it again sometime. my home is also always open to my moomie friends that live near me.

My LB used to be brilliant at going to sleep every night on his own at 19:30 up until about 8 days ago when one night he just decided that after putting him down in the usual manner he would proceed to keep climbing over the side of his cot and coming through to the lounge for atleast 2 hours every night until eventually he caved and went to sleep. It's not a cot or bed thing either because he does it both ways. It's just as if he isn't tired and then plays this silly game with us for 2 hours and gets us really frustrated and really tired in the process. He then usually sleeps very well the whole night through which is normal for him. I just don't know what to do about it. I have tried lots of different things but nothing works. He will not even settle if I lie on the bed next to him and try read of sing to him to get him all peacefull, it's just a major nightnmare.

As for eating, well for more than a year now he just doens't eat properly.. His diet is Bovril toast, yoghurt, oatees or weetbix, cheese, scrambled eggs and marie buscuits. I buy him purity fruit sometimes just to feel like he is getting some kind of nutrition in but that's like once a week because I don't want it to be a habit. he refuses all cooked food, finger food, fruit & vegtables. He still drinks formula but I have reduced that to just one or two bottles at night and only rooibos tea in the day. I also just cannot get him off the Formula milk. he refuses cows milk unless I put sugar and vanilla essence in it so I rather don't give it to him.

Don't know what else to tell, it's just a nightmare and i'm feeling quite down about it.

welcome 2km - our group is so diverse that anybody usually fits in and atleast we have daily updates so the thread dont run down so just jump in and u will quick quick know all of us as we are super regular - our kids vary from 12?(lelani) to just 1mnth to preggies and ttc's so anything and everything gets discussed oh and we can get quite graphical as we are so at ease with each other LOL

simone - lol runny poop leg thing and yes underpants is gross luckily lea has mostly very solid ones so i judt deposit in toilet and then wash if very bad i chuck it lol

simone - i just defrosted prawns then fried in olive oil(shallow) with garlic, butter, chilli spice and pepper and lemon juice for about 6-7min??????

ally i was cheap frozen ones i think my dad brought it R100 for 1kg?

lisha - what is the marinade u say i must use? it sounds like powder?

lish/julz/ang your boys TINY!!!! lea is 14kg and saw her next to skinny minny the other day and the mum goes wow lea is so nice and solid so i look at her and go DUH!!!!!(buddy of mine) look at us michelle as she wheighs like 50kg's and even though i am not fat i do have hips etc so our kids like minny versions of us LOL

saw jess and vix yesterday very cool riley is GEORGEOUS!!!!!!!! so fatt and the tweenise looking like little people now filled out and very much look alikes of their mummy

xen went to school today so lets hope he doesnt come back sick asap as man this unisa is tons of work and today already wasted as i took dog to vet, got brake pads, organised pack things etc etc

ok so had MOTHER&^%^%$$£er of a big fight with parents last night over shit so was ready to move out today even had place organised at friend but alas sense took over and we have no arranged with our seller to rather move on 18th and pay occupational rent (will cost us more in end) till transfer so atleast not long now and even that is too far only crap is now we cant paint etc so will be living in chaos for while before all settled but hey atleast sanity of mind can set in then

2km - I am 31 live in pretoria have 2 kiddies lea 2 and 4mnths and xen 9mnths - I am stay at home mummy but lea goes to cresch has since 9 mnths as she is the most DEMANDING child u will ever meet lol and xen usually at home as he is super EASY but have studies to doe for week or 2 so he is at cresch too.

I have honeurs in psychology and will do my counceling internship soon as well as trying to do mummy/baby groups as business venture from home as soon as in new house - I have suster in somerset west btw she lives right down by the strand and have for past 16yrs and loves it there
