Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Julz like I was telling Simone earlier this was a rare occurance ... not expecting him to be like that everyday. He eats things he likes well but other stuff he plain refuses even if hungry ... gets me so frustrated some days.

He is around 11kg's as well. I have the old fashioned scale so last night it gave me 12kg's first and he stepped on it again and it was 11 lol. Guess our boys will just not be heavy weights are this stage.

Thanks for the tip re Ackermans. Will have a look there. Will get my mum to alter whatever is still big at the waist.

I bought Dylan clothes from ackermans. They are nice and long but skinny in the waste. Still a bit big but a tumble dry and the fit.

How much does shrey weigh now. Dylan is stuck on 10.8!

Simone I agree with Ankia re G checking his luggage in directly from Hannover to Jhb ... will be easier I'm sure??? Will keep fx that he doesn't miss any flights and there are no delays.

Julz that's good news re ears not getting worse. Can ear issues really cause nauseau? Hope you get all clear from your tests.

AFU we're loving the cold weather since the weekend. Shrey however refuses to wear his long sleeved t-shirts or jerseys. He did agree on a jacket before we left home but sure he must have insisted mil take it off as soon as they were inside. I need to do some serious shopping for him as he only has 2 pairs of longs that aren't short and all his jackets sleeves are now short Going to look for cheap stuff as I'm sure next winter he'll new stuff again. If only he'd fill them out as fast as he's outgrowing the lengths!!!

Shrey had a good supper last night. Ate his rice & beans and then still had an entire roti and a small bit of the second one. Also had some desert with us about an hour before bedtime.

Simone, I work in the travel industry and if he does not have to collect his luggage in Frankfurt, he does not have to go through customs and immigration.
He must just make sure that he checks all his luggage through from Hannover to Johannesburg, and he must make sure that he gets his both boarding passes. Then he can just run through the transit lounge, and he will make it.
If he is holding a boarding pass and have not checked in yet at the boarding gate and the planes wants to leave, they will call him.

Simone 55 minutes is hectic. I panic when I have 2 hours to connect. I recon an hour will be enough though and there are no massive immigrations involved there.

Had a second hearing test yesterday. My ears are the same. So def not getting worse quickly which is a great sign but still need hearling aids and money is really tight at the moment. The audiologist wants me to go for a balance test to make sure my nausea is caused by my ears and not brain, but she says she will speak to the ent.

dogs are fine. Dylan is fine. Is it just me though or is it really gross to get poop out of underpants. A nappy I could handle but this is really gross as you can't just throw underpants out.

5 more nights!!!!!!!!!!! Goodness....wish they could just fly by! Seriously! G is missing home terribly...Addison will randomly get quiet and just say: I miss my daddy! I miss him stacks...eish!

We're a bit concerned because he has 55min between his connecting flight from Hannover to Frankfurt (insert 55min here) Frankfurt to SA...sorry not sure that makes sense...anyways he says going there they spent an hour alone at customs! So I'm praying that is because he was coming from SA.....If he misses that flight I will absolutely DIE!!!!!!!!

Helen firstly i am so happy to hear that Nina's hips are 100% fine, but im so sorry with all you are going through with both kiddies being sick, it must be absolutly exhausting for you. I hope nothing serious is wrong with Olivers teeth and that Nina gets better quickly. ((hugs))

afm, dh was so sweet yesterday, lately i have been having very crappy and stressful days and yesterday was another one so dh phoned me and said i mustnt worry about supper for us ( i had some frozen chicken a la king for k that i just defrosted) he was going to sort everything out, so we had a "mini" braai of just boerewors and then he bought 2 yummy salads and rolls from spar and then we ended up a few drinks and playing twister lol, it was fun.

I have another very busy day today, and i even havent had the chance to do my assignment for my photography class which is portriture (think i am going to pull a photo out of archive of K lol).
