So so sorry my day was wayyyyyyyy worse than I had anticipated, clearly I was too optimistic this morning. Let's just say I only managed to leave the house by 9:30, only just made it to the app in time and STILL only got home at 12:30 ahhhhhhh it's sooooooo hectic. Needless to say my boys were ratty and starving when I got in so no time to post again.
Mandy- I'm really sorry you feel neglected

another twin mommy wanted me to post her pics so I started the day on that thread and then got too busy to post here. It's easy to read but not to reply because I need 2 hands to burp babies and 2 hands to reply and I didn't purchase the spare set of hands when I got the cape (silly me, should've realised they would've been handy)
So C has an ear infection and already with just 1 dose of meds he was much better, he was so nice to me calling me to come look and come play with him (somehow I found the time even with the boys in tow) and he was quite 'ma-vas' this evening and we had a good roll around on the bed together.
I think his problem might well have been the ear all along.
My Paed also said if I want to I am welcome to give C creche guard but if I can't afford it it's not the end of the world because likelyhood is he will still get sick (which I thought) He said I can try to watch for signs and use OTC meds to fend off colds etc but if he complains about his ear I need to then come see him because only antibiotics will cure an infection.
Simone- I see your thread is off with a bang again! Well done!
Yoza- I had to laugh when you said the Honda Jazz reminds you of me. I can't for the life of me make a connection? Unless of course it's some weird or whacky colour like my personality? Or you last saw the Honda Jazz on Top Gear and the British Accents came flooding back and reminded you of me? But that's about as close as I got.
Oh I have been meaning to ask how much did Siba weigh when he was born? Another twin mommy also had her babies @ 34.5w like me and hers were exactly the same weights as my 2 and it got me thinking what do singleton babies weigh about 35w
Shame, the Paed's receptionist gave birth at 28w and her boy has been in NICU for 2 months already and isn't coming out anytime soon. Dr was telling me he has a problem with his nasal passage which means they can't take him off oxygen. But he said she won't care if he's in there for 6 years so long as he's alive because she lost 7 babies previously in the 20+w stage. How very very sad!
Julz- I actually agree, I probably could benefit from some councelling, I definately harbour a lot of guilt towards C for having the twins. I love them all very much but I think it worries me most because I never did for that strong bond with C and I only realised it when I did manage to form that bond with Alex instantly. But the same goes for Jono, I love him but I don't feel as much for him as I probably should. Definately think I emotioanlly removed myself a little too much when he was in NICU. But then I could just be over reacting too because I don't really see issues until I compare to other people. One twin mommy is so openly smitten with her twins that even with colic she adores their every move, me however I can't feel that way when they are a pain in my butt LOL but that could just be my own regular emotional detatchment, I think people must think I'm un loving sometimes the way I speak about my kids.
I hope Monday comes fast so your trip is fnished, sounds like it's not been such a nice experience this time.
O.k I have to sleep, will TRY to write more at the night feed but these days I'm prefering to get the extra sleep than post replies.
