Lisha, shame man your fear of geko's is bad hey? I hope Dh is able to sort out the problem for you over the weekend. mmmm we had KFC for supper last night, had the boxmaster and a Krusher - felt so full and sick afterwards. Today i am just have two large samoosas for lunch - yum.

Mandy i hope the meds help in assisting the high gluclose issue!! funny enough when i was at the doctor last week for sinus he asked me about a million questions and the one was if any of my family members had heart or blood pressure problems so i said yes my gran, mom and aunt all have extremly high blood pressure and he said to me the sad things is proberly in the next 5-8 years time (if i dont live a stressful life - which i do) i will be back at the doctors for blood pressure check-up etc as i will proberly get it due to it being genetic.mmmmmmm not cool.

afu, we are all well, K being cute and silly as usual. Oh my word my child is obsessed with tomoatoe sauce!!!!!!! he wants it with everything, even if i just cube some cheese for him for a snack he askes for "sauce please) he eats it with toast, chicken, fish, pork sausages etc EVERYTHING or he refuses to eat! Surely All Gold tomatoe sauce is good for your though? He refuses to eat tomatoe anyother way.

What is everyone's plans for the weekend? Dh works tomorrow from 09:00 - 14:30 so i will just spend that time spring cleaning the house and spending time with K, saturday night we having a braai and then on Sunday we off to Game to buy some toy boxes so i can neaten K's playroom up, want to divide the toy boxes between soft toys, cars, educational toys etc.

The speech therapist said we need to start with animal sounds. It always amazes me i pay but still end up doing the buck load of work. She said we need to get one of those small tables and chairs so that he knows its playtime. the things we have to do. She is rather impressed with his concertartion span and his love for puzzles and lego blocks. all in all it went well. My sister takes him for his sessions.

i was thinking of buying toys that make animal sounds and this weeknd go to game for the table and chair.

I am driving a courtesy car cause i smashed my car whilst parking so luckily my insuarance approved my claim. man it feels good to drive a new car. its a honda jazz for some reason it just reminded me of vix strange.

Vix: what is wrong with C i missed that one.

mandy: a good diet and exercise will keep you healthy. im trying that with hubby as there diebetis on his side of the family.

Mandy oh gosh the pesky gecko's are on a mission to drive into a mad house I cannot tell you guys how terrified I am of these things and they keep coming into my bedroom ... they leave the rest of a fairly big house and come to the place I am meant to rest and sleep lol. Going to bully dh into sealing of any gaps tomorrow and spraying pesticide outside the windows, doors and aircon holes. Not sure how he is going to reach certain places but damn I am not taking no for an answer lol I will do it myself if I have to but will cover myself from head to toe with thick clothing.

Mandy hope you manage the high glucose issue so you don't end up diabetic and if you do it's not major. I'm sure the glucophage will help.
Great idea for annual medical ... dh & I keep saying we must do it but never do.

Yoza how did Siba's therapy go yesterday? Buhle sounds absolutely adorable with the talking ... such precious times.

Helen hope the Isomil and Losec work. Will keep fx that the hip thing isn't anything to worry about.

AFM nothing much to say. Like I said above the frikken gecko's still giving me a hard time (no offence meant to all you lizzard fans lol). Shrey slept okay, just a major portion of the night in our bed. Organising lunch now so will chat later. KFC again today ... need to find a healthier, more interesting alternative soon.

O.k gals, I really wanted to reply this morning but I have to take C to Paed and after this reply here's how my day looks:

Now- feed babies
Get dressed
9- pack babies into car
9:15- stop at post office
9:45- pick C up from school
10:20- appointment
10:40- go to pharmacy
11- feeding time for baba's AGAIN!

Crazy isn't it? I have a 3hr routine just to take 1 son to the paed.

Just want to say HELEN- ithe Losec didn't work for C eeither but the Isomil helped wonders. Just watch for constipation and give laxette during the transition and whenever she seems constipated.

Hey Simone, slight naseau for me but really not bad. More than anything Ive noticed is that I am not HUNGRY - Like starving hungry every 2hrs.. YIPPEE.. It might be in my head so im waiting a few days to see.. but regardless, I am feeling great, so Im concentrating on eating smaller portions as I dont think I was eating that badly before.. congrats on the weight loss

Mandy I really thank u for sharing the info! I read up a lot and seems I've been sabotaging myself by not taking my meds (mandy and I on same meds, mine for PCOS (which mind u causes insulin resistance) though mine may be generic). Just a question...any side effects?I suffered from bad heartburn the last 2 days and terrible nausea:-( I read its a side effect of the metformin.

Was in an audit committee meeting at client's premises...to get a feel for the business. I didn't know meeting was scheduled for 9-5pm!!!!!!! Luckily it ended around 2:30pm!! Man it was boring!
