Morning,

Mandy enjoy your time with your dad :) I really miss mine, he's only seen Nina on Skype and in photos. He's talking about coming out in November so hopefully he makes it, Nina will be a nice age then as well. He's also really keen to see the house, I think he's dying to help out lol.

Vix - Your tweenies sound precious cooing in the middle of the night :) Nina's terrible, she'll wind herself up in her cot so I go in to see what's wrong and as soon as I pop my head through the mozzie net I get a big open mouthed gummy grin lol. Then I wonder what all her fussing is about! Yes she is still sleeping through (lucky me I know), I had about 4 nights last week where she woke for a feed, it started the first day after she finished her antibiotics so I think she was playing catch up, I'm almost certain for my kids 6kg is the key factor in making them sleep through, she was 6.2 a couple of weeks ago and then she got sick so she lost quite a bit of weight - I don't know how much exactly but you could see it in her face and legs and I'm pretty sure she went back under 6kg then after a few days of drinking plenty and finishing all her bottles she went back to sleeping through :)

Ally - Woweeee, massive congrats on the Pasella thing and the email! Things are really moving for you, lucky girl!

Nicole - I hope you feel better soon, I've never had earache but everyone always says its the pits so I hope it passes quickly.

Nelria - I say go for it! Working from home would be fab and I'm sure you'll get plenty of interest. Any news on the house sale?

Angie - Good luck for the move to Bloem, sounds like things have just fallen into place - that's when you know things are just meant to be.

Simone - Enjoy your break!

Theo has decided its his turn for a lie in even though I'm feeling like shit. Its quite obvious I'm not well, I'm white as a sheet and have the shakes and chills and a temperature but he couldn't careless right now, far more important that he catches up on some sleep. Can you tell I'm cross?! The worst of it is one of his uncles who he hasn't seen in about 20 years is up from Scarborough and Theo's arranged for us all to go over to his mum's house later. I can't cry out because then I'll be in everyones bad books (again) but he'll no doubt get upset because I'm not exactly going to be the life and soul of the party so then I'll be accused of not being friendly enough with his family. Man he pisses me off sometimes.

morning ladies!

And so the count down begins.......(cue the theme song to Jaws - LOL)

3 more nights and then I'm on the slab!

I'm guessing the birthweight between 3.6 & 4kg's - according to the gynae scan on wednesday Riley weighed around 4.4kg according to that machine thing but I'm working on a max of 4kg's - if he's more I'll be very surprised.

Have a awesome weekend everyone!

Vix, thank goodness Lisha rasied that, we all knew that once, and we have forgotten!! It makes sense though, they should only be compared to yourself.. in a way your mom is right..

Yoza - its such a relief to find something you can do to assist our little ones, and we had all of them done at different times. Grommets in and then tonsils and adenoids out and for Cameron, it definately helped with him getting sick less and sleeping more easily. Hopefully Siba will also hear better.. actually my paed and ent were quite shocked that he hadnt had more developmental issues as camerons adenoids were so enlarged that they went along his throat and into his sinuses and were quite obstructive! Pfairy also said she was very happy that Mias op made such a difference... So good luck on monday!! :)

Helen - Nina sounds like she will be in charge of Oliver when they grow up a bit!! too cute!!! Im also keen to see you gals.. how about next tuesday the 9th? i would have to be back at the office at 12noon, so could do around 09h30 - 11h30? Vix, Helen, any takers ??

Ally - YOU ROCK!! SOOO FLIPPEN AWESOME!! you have carved your own career and concentrated on doing what you love.. and i think Oprah is right.. if you do something you LOVE, you will become a success !!

OKAY, my dads here so cant chat forever! have a good week end!

Oh I forgot:

Lisha- thanks so much for what you said about small babies, you know really as simple as it is that just hadn't crossed my mind and because I never watched C's growth curve (because he was clearly growing well) I never thought to look at it that way. So I took out their vaccine cards and I see between 7w and 11w they both grew 4cm in length, 2cm in HC and 900g in weight which I really don't think is too bad for small babies. They are clearly growing and in line with the rate of the 50th percentile whatever that means. Considering they were born on the lowest percentile line I think actually they're doing really well so I have decided not to waste my time emailing the paed and to stop being so concerned with how fat all the other premmies are getting.

O.k girls, sorry I haven't really replied today, been hectic, had one or otherof the 3 boys in the arms all day long.

Nelly- nice idea! I'm sure you'll pull it of you social butterfly!

Lelani- any news on the job hun?

Simone- have a great weekend! Sorry a bout Addy's accident, I also feel like the pits when I tell C off un nessicerily.

Angie- I'm so happy for you and your family! I'm sure you'll be very happy in Bloem! CJ is doing so well giving up his dummy and potty training! You must be proud!

Ange- That's super scary about Cole holding his breath! I have heard of kids doing it but when he does it til he's unconcious then I would also get him checked out. I also am very eager to hear what your Paed has to say about his un happy temprement lately.

So telling DH I was 'dissapointed' in his actions worked better than I could ever have hoped for. It seems I really made him feel bad so much so he was a little hurt. He said to me last night that he's so sorry he's such a dissapointment to me. I told him He's not a dissapointment to me, I love him very much and he makes me very happy but it was his actions or lack of that dissapointed me. I think he did a lot of thinking yesterday and realised the error of his ways and that actually he does have a very good non nagging non fighting wife. He was having to listen to the guys at the factory bitch and moan about their wives and he said he felt odd because he didn't have anything bad to say about his wife LOL

I told him a holiday with the kids at this stage is not going to work, it's just too much stress for me. I told him maybe we can leave the kids with my mum and go away for 1 night just the 2 of us. It certainly got him thinking and he did say it would be really nice just the 2 of us to go away for 2 nights because we just don't have any time for each other anymore. So let's hope he agrees to it and we get even just 1 night together.

Aaaaaaaannnnnnndddddd I am super super excited cos the money for the kitchen is in and on Monday we're going in to set a date for the work to commence!!!!!

C is doing his own odd version of potty training.... After he does 1 wee he takes his nappy off and brings it to me then insists on a clean one. Can you imagine how many nappies I'm going through? So now I started insisting he wears pants if he takes his nappy off. He wasn't impressed but he's doing it. And he makes a poo in his nappy then tells me he wants to poo in the toilet so I have to take the poo filled nappy off and put him on the toilet so he can try poo a little more. All a little odd but I'm just going with the flow because recently he just wants nappy and bottle so he can be like the babies.

guys you have to check out this website:

www.sparklebox.co.uk/index.html

fantastic stuff especially for kiddies at home, I'm going to start using the stuff to entertain and teach C, every week i will have a theme so from Monday it's numbers and i have printed off lots of wall art things and lots of coloring in tasks to try and get him to learn his numbers properly. We'll do a task each day and stick it on the wall then when Daddy comes home from work C can show him all the lovely things he did that day.
