Hello ladies!
Lets see if I manage to finish this post today, I started a post yesterday but didn't get to finish it, lets hope I have more luck now!
Things have been pretty hectic this month, I shall be glad when its all over. Everyone's all better but now it looks like we're all coming down with another cold...oh the joys of having small children lol. I'm hoping its just a chill...we've spent over R3000 this month on doctors, dentists and vets consults and medicine etc so I really hope we don't have to spend anymore grrrrr.
Can't believe March is my last month of maternity leave, the time has gone so quickly...we're still trying to figure out all our options, my friend that I'm working for in the UK is just starting out so she can't afford to pay me what I need to start so I think I'm going to see if my company will agree to me working 2 days a week and then I'll work from home for my friend the other 3 days. Then the two days I'm working I'm hoping my MIL will look after the children...gulp...that's a pretty big step for me to agree to that but its the best of all our options so I'm hoping she'll agree to it. I know she loves the kids and will look after them well, even if its not exactly how I would do it.
Nina is growing up so quickly, 12 weeks today! She's a little chatter box and a little smiler, she's absolutely lovely. She also has a hefty set of lungs on her and can have quite a temper at times lol, I swear my mum and Theo sometimes think I'm hurting her (let alone what our neighbours must think lol), for example once she's had her bath she usually has a complete fit about getting dressed (Oliver used to be the same but not quite as loud lol). Or if I lay her down in her cot and she doesn't want to lay down she'll throw a full on paddy, hitting her hands on the mattress and flailing her legs around - oh lord, tantrums at 3 months!!!!
Oliver is keeping me busy, he's still going well with the potty training apart from refusing to make a poo in it. Every single day I put him down for a nap with a nappy on and within 5 minutes of me leaving the room he makes a poo in the nappy. I'm wondering if I should put him down for a nap in pants and leave the potty in his room and see what happens but to be honest I'm a little scared as to what the result of that might be lol!! If we're out and about all day and he's been in pants then he literally holds his poo in and saves it for the next day - not a good habit to encourage. I'm just going to wait it out until he's ready. He's master of puzzles at the moment, he looooves them and is getting really good at them. Still not much talking apart from in his own language lol.
And now to attempt replies:-
Simone - Sorry you didn't get the job, stay positive, something loads better is just around the corner I'm sure of it
Zee - Glad your gynae visit went well, so sorry about your friend, man that's awful
Vix - Just want to say thank you so much for the yellow taglet you gave us for Nina, she LOVES it! She sleeps with it and usually falls asleep either sucking it or with it in her fist whilst she sucks her thumb or she has it over her face lol. And as for Elwyn's antics, the silent treatment is usually the best lol

I think the problem with these men half the time is that they can't just be honest because they feel guilty themselves. I get less upset if I know Theo's going to be late because then I've planned to manage things alone so I'm more organised etc, its when he's not honest about what time he'll be back that I get cross because then I feel like I'm waiting around, I have more time to stew and its usually when everyone is playing up so your stress levels are already high and your patience thin lol.
Lisha - have to laugh at your fear of ghekkos lol, I can't say as they've ever bothered me. Hope they didn't haunt you last night.
Jess - Just a few days now, so exciting! Please do yourself a favour and do nothing this weekend except sleep lol!
Angelique - ooo that thing with Cole sounds really scary, hope you are able to get some answers about it from the paed.
Yoza - I hope the op for Siba goes well and helps with everything.
Nelria- Hope you hear some good news today and that they aren't bogus buyers...FX.
Nicole - Sorry to hear K was so sick. Good luck with all the driving lessons. I found the yard stuff easier than the road stuff because its the same everytime and you don't have to stress about other traffic
Mandy - sorry to hear about all the building stuff. Look on the brightside, at least you're likely to get more space if you decide to go for a house

Its not easy but its definitely worth it and the freedom you get of having your own place rather than being tied down by complex rules is a massive benefit
Lelani - Any news on the job or have I missed it? Keeping FX for you.
Everyone else, hello! That's all I can remember for now...
Hope you all have a fab weekend
