Amo is a lot better friends thanks for your encouraging words of support (Juls ) apparently he was getting tonsils but we caught them early. As for Potty training I am the one thats lazy i think he is ready cos he stays drier for long periods of time at night he doesnt pee at all he only goes in the morning.

Vix how did u sleep this morning? the boys give you a break? About C dont stress he is just venting out, he will be fine...

Helen: Wow glad nina is recovering well. Its so sad about your SIL i can imagine how sad and painful it will be.

As for the not eating im force feed siba as now he refuses to chew he rather spits the food out and the speech therapist said he must eat chunkc for his muscle tone. And if does not eat i also let him go to bed without eating. I realised if i dont do it my nanny just takes the easy way.

I put him down on his camp chair and and hold his hands and put food on the side of his mouth. last night he screamed until he gave in. I know its bad but i refuse to be bullied by him because he decides he will cry his little lungs out.

I meean it should take me a week to train him and then he can start eating chunkir food.

Hubby kept on looking and i said you know what the therapist said and you not helping by delaying the child. So im one mean mummy. After the eating we move to a sippy and squeeze bottle.

Vix: We love you to my dear and your precious babies. So agree with Simone my special time with siba is taking outside walks and around the neighbourhood.


Nicole: Yep moving is schlep i hate it and we also have boxes tucked in the outside room. Glad K is eating i suppose were all going through a eating phase.

Hi Girls sorry for being mia

Not a good week for us. Ethan is sick again and this is the 3rd time his been sick since starting crèche. I'm contemplating to keep him home till age 4, but he loves the new friends. I'm at whit’s end with this... Not sure if i told you girls that he is allergic to diary. Also found this out about 2wks ago when he was also not well.

He is home since yesterday and today he looks better. This whole situation is depressing, feel like pulling my hair out. When I stress I eat and I've pick up the 2kg that I've shed and I need to d-stress. What I hate about all this is that we can't go out; we have to stay indoors because it is too windy. Can't really go anyone with pets before he is really healthy. Making me sad: because he loves the outdoors and loves animal. Enough of me with my long face.

On a lighter note: I'm busy getting quotes to do Ethan's room. Thinking of putting bamboo floors in his room - do any of you have them, are they good. Someone is coming to the house tonight to give me a quote. I'm still trying to convince DH that we need to cover the lounge and passage floors also with laminated flooring. Hopefully the room will be painted in 2wks time! I’m still looking for stripe curtain material, want to make a blind. I hope my boy will like his room..

Nicole- so exciting to be in your OWN house at the weekend. C is fine without the dummy, he doesn't ask for it and doesn't even try to take the babies. The best thing was that I just took it completely without making a deal.

Last night I finally managed to get him to poo through the constipation but I had to sit him on the toilet to do it otherwise he clenches his bum closed. He did a huge poo and through the tears he kept saying "my poo, I look my poo" so I gave him a 'prize' for being a good boy, man is he chuffed with his 'poo yellow car' LOL

Ally- what about something un foodie related, like a nice yearly diary/(shit the name escapes me.......) Filofax type thing to keep contacts aswell as dates in, just remember to write in your details. Maybe one she can write down all he fav websites/blogs or even hints and foodie tips?

Mandy I am happy to hear that Cam has gotten over the biting thing now. I agree don't stress about the potty training, he'll do it when he's good & ready.
Re the holiday, I've been saying we should do a trip to Mauritius for a while now so still pushing for that. DH however wants to take his parents to Drakensberg so will see what happens Either way some time away will be great.

AFM another slightly disturbed night, this time he cried a lot but I just lay with him and he fell asleep. I have banned the tv at that time of the night so dh wasn't too thrilled on Tuesday night but I've shown him it's not necessary lol.
Anyway absolutely nothing besides handbag shopping and building an outdoor gate planned for us this weekend.
