Seems a few of us have been a bit scarce of late.

Nicole - Good luck with the move! And yes it is amazing how much stuff we accumulate, we still have boxes we haven't unpacked (we moved in in June) and I don't even really know what's in them!!

Ally - Congrats on all the exciting things happening with your career, you certainly deserve it. Well done with the twins potty training, sounds like they were ready.

Julz - Enjoy U2, everyone that we know that went had an absolute blast. Sorry for the family tension, but glad you've got it all out in the open - weddings are pretty good at causing havoc, we had family drama when my eldest brother got married and then againwhen we got married - its no wonder my other brother has chosen not to do the marriage thing lol.

Zee - Sorry about the car troubles and morning sickness but yay on seeing the gynae next week, you must be so excited (I know I am!!)

Mandy - Congrats on the building plans being approved, sounds like its all happening for you and Marc. And well done Cam for no biting! Hope the phase is over for you

Yoza I'm so glad you got some answers with regards to Siba's speech. Oliver is still waaaaaay behind and in his case its nothing to do with his hearing as his hearing is fine...my paed suggested giving it another 6-12months before we do anything about it so I'm happy to wait it out for now but I have a feeling he is going to need therapy...

Jess - Hope all goes well at the dentist eeeeish! I have to go next week for probably a filling (it'll be my first one so I'm a bit nervous!). WRT to your birthing options, I would say don't stress about the size of your baby, if your gynae is happy that your pelvis is big enough to deliver naturally then why not try and wait and see what happens but be prepared for any outcome? As Mandy says at the end of the day the birth isn't the biggest thing, it really doesn't matter how Riley comes out as long as both of you are healthy

Vix - I hope you win the GHD competition! I hope the colic is coming to then end of its run as well. We still must make a plan to get together if you fancy it?

AFM - Nina is on the mend but I think its going to take a while for her to get back to normal, today is the first day she is on normal mix formula (because of the diarrhea the doc wanted to keep it watered down and reintroduce slowly). You can see she's lost weight in the last couple of weeks so its nice to see her finishing a bottle now (she hasn't been finishing bottles regularly for the best part of 2-3 weeks). She's almost back to her usual self and smiling and giggling and chattering all the time. Oliver is well, testing me to my limits at times - in particular meal times. Sometimes he refuses to eat ANY of his lunch, wow do I find it hard to manage my temper some days lol. Last week I got so cross I sent him to bed without anything to eat because he'd spat his food out and then thrown his fork across the table. Now he knows he'll get a smack if he's not careful, we had a fight at lunchtime yesterday and he threw his fork on the floor so I told him to go to his room and he ran along the passage with his hand over his bum because he was scared he was going to get a smack lol. Its so hard to know what to do for the best and you never know if you're doing the right thing. Otherwise he's lovely, he is progressing with the speech but he doesn't seem to be able to understand how to make different sounds, like he can say mama dadada nanana rarara kakaka but I think that's about it. He cannot get the hang of the 'th' 'pa' 'ju' 'sss' 'ha' 'ba' etc sounds. I'm happy with the potty training, at home he goes either on his potty or in the toilet quite happily and if we go out I let him go in pants unless I think he's going to fall asleep in the car. So far no accidents so hopefully it continues. I'd been having problems getting him to poo in the potty and he would only poo once I put a nappy on him for his nap but he managed to poo twice in the potty yesterday (and once in his nappy) so that's progress. The only other problem I have with the potty training is that the lazy little monkey will not pull his own trousers down lol! All in good time hey

Anyways, that's all I have time for, my SIL is up from Cape Town so she's coming to meet Nina today which will be nice although probably a bit emotional (Nina's middle name is Lee-Anne after my SIL) as she has terminal cancer. She's very well at the moment but we've all been told to take each day as it comes so I think we're all aware that this could be the only time they meet...phew, its horrible to talk like that, hopefully Lee-Anne still has a long time left.

Nel- thanks for the vote request on fb Sorry about Xen's fall, poor boy but they all do it. I remember C about that age wiggled his way off my bed while I was sleeping.

Julz- thanks for the tips, I do have his mattress lifted and he's on a wedge and usually he sits on his bean bag to 'chill' before I put him back in his cot, he still seems too sick up but it's as if the formula seperates in his tum because he's sicking up clear water 1-2hrs after a feed. I'm going to get the Nestargel tomorrow so will see how that works, failing that I'm gonna take him to the pead for another check over and he can explain the difference in the willies to me aswell LOL

I forgot to tell you guys, Alex has a deformed ear and his head is flat on the one side, It's from in the womb, that side of his head was squished and the ear was folded over a little and it fused like that! Crazy stuff hey? It's not terrible to look at, just looks like he's got a spock ear, when his hair grows it will be un noticeable I'm sure. Just goes to show the pressure in my tum with 2 babies. And to think people still tell me they would LOVE to have triplets, I don't think people think fully about what sharing a womb does to your child.

Zee- soo exciting , your gynae app on monday! Can't wait to hear back from it! Sorry Z is struggling with the constipation again. C has been fine excepting yesterda, was the first time in 3m that he has been constipated.

Ankia- I hope baby 2 isn't giving you a hard time! I see you talk about getting back to the gym? You're brave to gym in the first trimester, are you not too exhausted?

I don't know how I'm going to get C off the bottle, he needs to drink about 1l of water min a day to make him poo. Wednesday he only drank 500ml roughly because I was trying him on a cup and he was soooo constipated last night, he was screaming in tears even with the lacson which we're supposed to be weaning him off of. Maybe I can find a sports bottle with woody and buzz on he'll drink more that way.

Mandy- soooo sorry about your car! Irritating to say the least. I'm sure when they start traing Cam after a break from it he'll pick it up quickly. I have decided to do the same with C. He does know what to do and doesn't make mess but he's actually begging me to put a nappy on him so I decided not to push and just go with the flow, one of these days he'll ask for pants again.

Ally- gonna enter your wine comp for sure, I just looooove Pinotage so have the perfect food idea in mind. Besides who wouldn't want to win a box of wine?

I am still on top of the world, Still feeling great about my relationship, my fanily and sooooo thankful for having 3 healthy strong boys, was just feeling a bit defeated in the mothering skills department yesterday because I'm not handling C very well and the fact that he won't let me dudu by him tells me I'm not giving him enough time and attention. I had a good chat with Simone yesterday (thanks friend) and she has convinced me that I need to make time, maybe once a week to do something with C, just the 2 of us, so I told DH this last night and he agrees. O.k we'll see if he agrees when he realises it means he must baby sit the tweenies.

ALLY - Give her your authograph on a nice notebook and say "hold onto this its going to be worth millions one of these days"

Ag ek spot sommer - if she's a foodie then a good cookbook is always a nice idea.

We'll I'm strongly considering biting the bullet and going for the c-sec on the 1st - but ONLY if my gynae does me first thing in the morning - none of that mid-afternoon shit like last time!

And I'm off to the dentist at 11 cause I've chipped my tooth!! CAN YOU BLOODY BELIEVE IT!!! WHAT THE HELL NEXT!!!!!!

Vix, the twins also diss me every now and then but I just brush it off. You're not a bad mother to C. You are only one person and it's natural that he's going to have to take a back-seat for a little while because you have 2 babies to take care of, all by your-fecking-self! You are an incredible mother and he knows that! He's just being rebellious and making you feel guilty, like only kids know how!

Zee, sorry about the car troubles! And I hope the MS passes SOOON!

Mandy, I'm glad Cam isn't biting anymore. And don't stress about the potty-training. It will come when he's ready. No use in pressurising a child when they're just not ready.

Ok, let me get on with my day. I have So much to do today and I don't know where to start. Can you gals give me any suggestions for a thank you gift for the lady I'm staying with? She's a serious foodie but I have no idea what to get her.

Okay i have hit a blank now...............

So spent all of yesterday packing, man it is amazing how much crap a person collects. We still have tons of packing to do as we ran out of boxes yesterday so will have to tackle that tomorrow, cant belive by tomorrow night we will be sleeping in our new home K is doing very well, speaking non-stop, but loving it. He is also eating well again. Last night dh bought a large samoosa for us and K ended up taking Dh's and eating half of it (a month ago he wouldnt eat anything he didnt regonise).

In two days buhle has only woken up once. she now sleeping longer day and night. Last night she cried in her cot and i did not hear her she fell asleep again. How awesome is that. Dh woke up and took her and she was in our bedroom im imagine my shock when i saw in the campcot.

Nelly: Sounds like you having it difficult. shame xen falling buhle fell about a month ago she was so shocked but she is always bumping against the coffee table.
