Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Hi ladies

We enjoyed our weekend. Had a baby shower for Carmen from the ttc thread. She is having her little girl on Friday. So excited for her. Then we went to a food and wine paring. I couldn't eat but it was wonderful. Yesterday we got up a bit later and I went to the shops with the two men in my life and then we had friends over last night.

Maid is mia today which is really odd!!!

Mandy I meant to tell you what the head teacher told us all in a meeting last week. Biting is a big issue but there is honestly NOTHING that can be done about it. It is Cameron's only way of communicating that he is frustrated. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Shame you must have felt awful though!!!
As for you chatting to hubby, it is great that you can be so honest and I am sure you feel a bit better about things now. xx

Simone so sorry for your hectic night! Is G okay???

Zee sorry for the ms! Every pregnancy is different. I hope it passes soon. I got a pill called Asic which helped alot and I stopped all multivitamins and only took folic acid. It did improve a bit.

Ally the bras sound stunning. Lucky lady.

Vix, it doesn't happen often lol.

Nicole, it's amazing how much the pill affected me. I used to be sooo moody and frigid. I never wanted C to touch me and would only have sex if I felt bad enough. Which was maybe once ever 2 months. Now you can imagine how poor C was feeling. He stopped being caring, he stopped paying attention to my looks etc. He didn't want to be around when I got undressed because he would get aroused and he knew nothing would come of it. It was horrible. And I didn't even know.

Going to fetch my casual dress today. Can't wait. Will take a photo for you gals. But now I have to go stand under an ice cold shower. It's so hot here, I'm already sweating like a nun in a brothel!!

Mandy: I am glad that you talked things through with hubby. Marriage is difficult it needs to be takes care of. I habe had my sahre with my hubby. As for cameron its a pahse and im sure it will pass. You need to be consant with him and show him its wring eventually it will stop.

Helen: please do not mention the word sleeping though. Buhle wke up last night and was all over my bed kisiing siba me and hubby. she eventually fell asleep after 45 minutes of babbling.

Vix: yay on the extra bottles.

Simone: lovely weekend you had.

Julz: how are you feeling, so happy to hear that dylan os adjuasting at school.

Lelani: one proud mummy. chanel is doing so well at her new school

Zamzie: Oh my dear i hope all is well. maybe you need to think of an exercize routine and change of diet.

AFM: doing well, i put up some new curtains in my bedrooms and managed to get winnie the poo fo buhle and siba. DH was a real DIY this weekend. on saturday had a girls night out at big bay was so nice drinking cocktails and chatting the night away ok not cocktails more of coffee for me and sunday church and family time.

As for the kids they are doing well.

Mandy sorry to hear about the fight with DH, but at least you know your worst fear is not true, Communication will have to be your guys first priority im sure things will improve from there. The love you both share will definatly pull you guys through! (hugs).

Vix jeez that is a load of bottles a day. The new bottles will definatly give you extra time!!


Zamzie sorry to hear you are battling with bp problems, i hope the meds will be able to help you out. I cannot wait to see pics of Wande.xxx

Ally lucky you with the bra's, my dh wouldnt buy me either, its either sexy lingere or nothing lol. glad being off the pill has made you feel alot better. Its amazing what hormones can do to us women?

Simone sounds like you had a wonderful weekend, besides for your one sleepless night. How is G doing now?

afm we had a lovely weekend, the weather was beautiful so it was spent outside. I have still not started af, but 3 negetive pregnancy tests? I have the most terrible pain on my right side just under the belly button? Everytime i sit or get up it hurts like hell. Going to the doc today at 11:00 as I dont know whats up, i also feel terribly tired.

Mandy w.r.t the biting...shame man...I can imagine u must`ve felt crap! Do u hit Cameron? Or tried the biting back thing? Perhaps google to see if other moms have some alternative punishments for u to try?

I had terrible night...went to bed after 12. This was my night:
12:30am-Addison wakes up crying for her dad, but asleep...so maybe nightmare. He didn't hear so I got up and calmed her.
1am- Addy screams again so I wake up but leave her to calm herself.
2:30am- sister knocks for me to open up after her night out.
About 3:30am- G wakes up and dashes to toilet. I feel something is wrong...he comes back rolling around eventually lying on floor, back to bathroom wretching (but nothing comes out). This is pre-seizure actions. I gave him some cold water, nausea meds and thank the Lord he didn't have seizure.

About 5am Addison comes to lie next to me hogging my pillow. I spemd 15mon trying to get comfy and move her to middle of bed...eventually I move to her bed (first time in my life!).

About 6:15am addison comes and opens my eyes forcefully...smiling at me.

I doze off and 10min later I feel her pinching my cheeks. I give up on sleep and get up to cook and clean kitchen..*sigh*

We had lovely weekend though...spent with G and A. Went to a seal and penguin show (thanks Mandy) and to wimpy. Today lunch at church people`s place. Great yard, pool and playground in their yard! Addy had a blast!

Vix thanks for the heads up on SMEP! As much as I want a baby I don't have that dedication right now to have so much sex.lol. Wow that's a crap load of bottles u need to have and clean!!

Mandy so glad u and M spoke. It must`ve really horrified u to think perhaps he wanted out! U guys will just have to communicate and talk and work on things! With the busy lives we lead..and our roles as parents...its very easy to lose that spark as a couple! U know u can chat here without judgement.

Helen ya I agree with the not wanting milk could possibly be throat:-( I hope doc sorts her out tomorrow!

Vix hope u and the boys are also 100% soon!

Shame Mandy, sorry you had such a tough day yesterday, I'm sure Cameron will get over the biting, its probably just a phase he's going through and hopefully it'll pass soon, we all have moments where we can't stand our kids but it doesn't mean we love them any less And as for you and DH, its sucks that you had a fight but at least everything is out in the open now and like Vix says you've been bottling this up for a while hey? We all have bad times in our relationships, marriage isn't easy and it takes work. Theo and I are still working on ours and I can easily say the month after Nina was born was the worst our relationship has ever been (remember when Nina was a week old he packed his bags and thought about leaving the cheeky bugger!) but we got through it and although we're still not there yet we're much happier knowing each other's issues because at least we can work on it. Good luck hon, you know if you ever need a break you can call anytime, I'm only a few minutes down the road

Ally - Lucky you with the bras! Theo asked me where have my boobs gone the other day lol!!! They've shrunk to almost non existence after the pregnancy and BF lol. Luckily he's happy with small boobs (tough luck if he's not cos I can't exactly grow bigger ones!) The party place sounds amazing

Vix - I hope you guys get rid of the cold, Oliver's still struggling to shift the runny nose and so is Nina, I actually think I'm going to have to take her to the GP tomorrow because she's still snuffly after a week and then yesterday and today she's been really sleepy and now today she's off her milk as well and I've so far been struggling to get her to finish more than half her bottle When Oliver was a baby he used to go off his milk whenever he had a sore throat so I think I'd best get her checked out...can't afford to take her to the paed so the GP will have to do.

Simone - FXFXFXFX you get the position, hopefully they'll see that you're worth it and wait for you

Zee - Sorry about the MS, it really is crap (and I still don't understand why they call it MS, I felt pants all day with Nina). I hope it doesn't last long. I still get excited every time I think about you being pregnant

Julz - Eeeeish I agree with the other ladies, May is a long way away!!!!

Ok I must dash as its my mum's birthday and we're going out for lunch.

Oh, and I almost forgot lol, Nina slept through last night!!! She went to bed at 7.30pm and slept through until 6.30am, I'm not going to get excited about it though because it may have something to do with her being under the weather and I doubt she'll repeat it tonight what with her being off her milk today...
