Oh Mandy! I'm sorry you had such a bad day and that you had a blow up with DH but I am so pleased you finnally aired your concerns, they've been eating away at you for some time now hey? It's good to get these things out in the open because some times things are not as they seem. I had something similar after C was born I felt like DH didn't feel the same about me anymore, I didn't feel loved so one night I had a few drinks and just spoke out and to my surprise there was actually nothing wrong he was jjust giving me space because I was so busy with C. It's always hard to broach those subjects though for fear of an answer you don't want. I'm pleased your DH doesn't feel he wants out and now he knows how you feel maybe he will make things up to you just in time for Valentines!!!!

Ally- enjoy your breakfast if you go. Wooo hooo on C buying nice bras for you, what a thoughtful hubby! Mine would NEVER buy bras for me but then he doesn't pay too much attention to my undoies, he wouldn't care if I walked around in my granny pants, he's so boring!

Hi ladies.

Vix, C and I bought 14 bottles before the twins were first born and then another 2 after (but I knew I wouldn't be breastfeeding, just expressing). We wouldn't have survived with any less. We only had to wash bottles everyday when the domestic wasn't here.

We had a lovely day. It was my nephew's bday party in the morning at the most incredibly venue. Wow-Wee in Wonderboom which is quite far out but wow, it really was lovely. They have 5 different 'lapa's' for parties and then a 'hospital', 'church', 'firestation', 'princess castle' and a 'pirate ship' all with slides etc. Then you can dress up as any of those things. Then they have lots of different jungle gyms and a racing track with those electric cars. The kids had SO MUCH fun. I wish I could take the kids there more often.
Then in the afternoon our friends came for a braai and I finally got to meet C's best friend's baby. So cute but I can see that she's struggling a bit. He's a very niggly baby and I can see he struggles with cramps. But he's adorable.

Then C decided to go to Woolworths for some reason and came back with 3 of the most GORGEOUS bra's I've ever seen. All lacy and sexy (of course) one black and gold, one dark purple and one this beigy fleshy colour. So gorgeous. And of course I had to
'thank him' for his generosity! lol

Mandy, sorry about your ordeal yesterday. I have no advice for you, I can just listen. And good that you and hubby spoke about things. C and I did the same about a year ago and it was so needed. Since then our relationship has gotten SO much better. And then since going off the pill, it's gotten EVEN better. My sex drive is back, I'm less moody and I'm not so emotional when my period arrives.

We might go for breakfast quickly but not sure yet. Let me go see what my little family are doing. Speak later!

Well I've had quite a day ! Cam really dissapointed me when we went to yeesh today . - am trying to get him to play without me and I selfishly really wanted to catch up with the two mommies - was there with while their kids ran around happily so Cameron went on a biting rampage ! He is a serial biter ! He bit 3 children and the third time -n the hour - was actually standing with him and had just moved another girl out of his way who had the blocks that he wanted and he turned around and bit another boy! This time my friends son ! So I burst into tears and left. Then my husband and I had a big fight at home and this evening I finally spoke up and told him all the things that I've been thinking! That I'm in love with himsa nd willing to work on anything with him but that I don't feel any love from him. I only see his joy from Cameron and never from me. - asked him if he wants out of the marriage and what is actually wrong and what can I do to change it and I was very relieved to hear him say that he is not unhappy and that nothing is wrong . I beleived that he at least doesn't want out. I know that we have to work on things but my worst fear wasn't true. We have lots of talking to do but that's okay . I do love him... Okay enough of all of this ! Thanks for listening.. I needed to share and I don't want to tell other froends and famiily as - think people do judge.. Anyway ! Good night !

Zee- ooo sorry about the MS or evening sickness rather, I think actually mine was better with the tweenies than with C so I have no ideas as to why yours is so bad this time. I do think though as much as we think we remember what it was like the first time around we really have forgotten so much, even now with newborns, I have forgotten a lot of things.

The wife of one of Elwyns collegues had been TTC no 2 for 5 years so I told her to try the SMEP, she fell pregnant with twins (but sadly she lost them both this past week) so anyone trying the SMEP please be warned it can increase your chance of multiples.

Nicole- I hope AF pitches for you this weekend but if not and you are preggers I know you guys will manage, what's meant to be will be xxxxxx

Simone- oooo bummer about the short notice, especially when you know they would basically choose you if you could start right away. I hope they can hold out for you! Fxfxfxfxfxfx

Julz- May is a long wait, I hope you're feeling a bit better before then.

I was struggling with 8 bottles for the tweenies, mainly because I didn't buy many because I had planned to BF and since the birth I haven't gotten out much but my SIL was throwing out all her son's NUK bottles so I asked for them and just bought pigeon teats to go in them and now I have enough bottles to only wash once a day whereas I was having to wash 3 times a day so that has helped a huge amount.

We are all so full of a cold, it's not budging, I've had it for 3 weeks now.

Vix, LOL at the lady and the tampons, so funny!

Okay, that's all I can remember for now! Will still try to catch up. No major plans for the weekend, we were supposed to go to the Chinese New Year celebrations with friends tomorrow, but they can't go anymore. I'm actually relieved, I love Chinese food but just the thought of it makes me turn green now!

Sorry that I've been so scarce. Its been a busy week and I've been so sick in the evenings I havent felt up to anything. I honestly cannot recall that I felt so crap with Ziani!? I remember there was some pretty bad nausea but nothing like this! But aside from the dizzy spells and nausea its going great

Zamzie, sorry to hear about the blood pressure problems, hope you feel much better soon.

Hi Momies

Just popped in to check if you are all fine

Things have not been easy with me. I went home when Wande was 2wks with mom becasue school was openning and she had to go back to work. Arrived home on Friday the 14th and I was was admitted with baby to Margate hospital on Saterday 15th had a severe headache and my blood pressure went up to 202 worst pain of my life thought I was going to die. Shame my mom almost had a heartattack she was losing he rmind.

The medical care there was not good I was discharged the following day because my blood pressure suddenly became normal.Since I have been back I have been to doctors and neurologist & they do not pick up anything they say everything is normal. The strange thing is I never had bp problems during my pregnancy. I am on bp medication. Recently I have been feeling dizzy & cold , now my blood pressure is low. I really do not know what to do now but its really stressful , my medical aid is eve exhausted now. Im so tired & sleep deprived at the same time.

When I read up on the internet woman who have had this in USA after giving birth had postnatum preaclamsia but doctors say its not it but we have exactly the same symproms.

Hope you are all well , I have to breadstfeed now.
