Hi Ladies...!!!!

WOW have we had an eventful 2 weeks

I found a new job, still full day BUT the pay is much better and they are gonna review it again after 3 months. I am just waiting for the letter of apointment from the agency then I need to resign at the current company... Not looking forward to that very much... Need to give 2weeks notice so my last day should be the 4th of Feb then I'm going to get my wisdom teeth removed on the 7th and the doc said I can't work for a week, so will start at the new company on the 14th of Feb...

DH found a buyer for my car and we were searching for a new one for some time, gonna fetch it tomorrow afternoon Will try to post piccies, but haven't even had time to download the kitchen pics to the PC yet

And my classes which was supposed to start the 12th have now been moved earlier and the 1st one is starting on the 29th at 1. On the one side I am glad that its starting earlier because that means I will have finished another 2 subjects before Easter BUT ... now I won't be able to attend the meet anymore

Zee, sorry about the house, but just keep searching... We made offers on about 2/3 places before we found this house... If you just hold out, I'm sure that the right place at the right price will come your way

Don't worry about Z, Iris is still on the boob and I am struggling to get her off She is also not even remotely interested in potty training She does at least eat well but for that I need to thank the day mom....

Oh, and I am officially offering my house for the next meet (read: Moomie house warming) Only thing is that if its before Easter, it will unfortunately have to be a Sunday.... We bought one of those splash pools so if its still warm the LO's should enjoy that and we've got a big yard and no dogs yet so they should have a ball.

Vix, shame, so bad that the Bennet's are not doing the trick anymore, hope you can get something better. I totally agree, no child can replace another and my cousin agrees. She lost her child three years ago when the LG was five and they don't want other children ...

About schools, honestly, I haven't given that much thought ... Seems so far away!

Hey ladies

So sorry that I've been MIA. All that I can say, is that if one of your children ever wants to go into journalism, lock them up! There is just no time in the day to even think about Moomie ... And I really miss you guys

But any hoo, Z is watching Tubbies so I have a quick breather. She's doing well, just very busy and the queen of tantrums. With me being quiet short tempered we've got fabulous fights ever now and then. She's not even 1 m and so demanding!
About the paed's visit, Vix, you were right, I just wasted my money going there. He prescribed the grossest medicine in the world, you mix it with water and it turns thick and white. Disgusting, needless to say, Z is not having any of that. He blames her diet for the constipation and gave me a diet plan which contains hundreds of stuff the little madam refuses to eat.

I honestly just think I'm not cut out to be a mother, I cannot get Z off the bottle, I can't get the child to poo, I cannot get her to eat properly and I can't get her potty trained. I'm tired of people telling me she's to old to be walking around with her #$#$ bottle in her mouth. I honestly can't get rid of the #$#$ bottle!!!! Okay, just needed that vent ...

The one good thing from the paed visit was that she's actually not that she's right on target with weight. She's 13.4 kg and is 97 cm tall. She's one tall girl. Shame, I hated being that tall in school, I always felt like a giraffe ...

And then DH and I went to look at houses on Sunday and we saw the most perfect house ever. So big and with soooo many cupboards. I already hanged all my frames in my head and even placed the furniture, etc, but they are not interested in our offer and we can get too little for our house to make a bigger offer. i was mightily depressed last night, but after some Shiraz and tamatiebredie I felt better

So now we are going to repaint the house and put it on private property in due time ...

Okay so apparently according to the municipality our electricity is still not on grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! so know the fridge has been of for 17 hours which means all our food has proberly been defrosted!!!!!!!! Cant belive this has happened again to us.

Helen = that is terribly sweet of you!! Thanks and what wonderful timing as I just came back from my lunch break when I went to Dischem and got a few odds (like gripe water & panado drops) and was looking at the breastpads and then decided NOT to take a box, I'll get the end of the month. LOL

And pls feel free to give Vix the nappies - Bryce only went through 1 big pack of the size 2 and I think this one will probably be the same. And Vix has 2 so she'll definately get a lot more use out of them than I would!

Are you coming on the 29th too!!! I can't wait to see the babies & have coffee with you girls!

Hello everyone

Welcome Ankia, William is very cute, congrats on the pregnancy!

Finally finding 5 minutes to pop in, I read most days (usually when madam I'm giving madam a bottle lol) but rarely find time to reply. I started a reply last night but then Nina decided to wake up with winds gggrrrrrrr so didn't get time to finish.

Vix you really are superwoman, Theo and I are both struggling with the tiredness and we're only having to get up once at night to feed one baby and even then she's is usually fed, burped and back to sleep well within an hour. I don't know how you do it! I've tried leaving Theo to sleep and I do it all but she's a cheeky monkey and she just will not bring the winds up with me so he winds her

I've started working from home this week, only starting with a couple of hours a day and then will slowly build up to probably 4-5hours but flip its hard work trying to get stuff down around the two of them! I think I'll be looking at putting Oliver into creche a couple of mornings a week to help me along a bit. I think its nearly time for him to have that interaction with other kids anyway and it'll probably help his speech a bit more as well...

I'm going to try a few replies but I know I won't get round to everyone as I should be working now instead of chatting while they are both asleep lol!

Jess - You say "if" you're still here when Bryce goes to school, do you have plans to leave?! Are you planning to breastfeed? I have a whole unopened box of Pigeon breast pads (72 in the box) that you are welcome to if you want?

oh and Vix and Jess - Whilst I'm thinking about it, I have a brand new Jumbo packet of Pampers no2 (the ones in the yellow packet, I think there's 94 in the pack), I tried to take them back to get no3s (Nina's so big she only went through one packet of no2s before moving on to no3s lol) but I don't have a slip and I think I must've got them from Makro because Baby City said they don't stock that size packet so I couldn't swap them So anyway, they are sitting in the garage gathering dust so if either of you want them (or want to split them between you?) just shout and I'll bring them along to the meet.

Yoza - Congrats on Buhle's steps, it'll be madness in your house when she's fully mobile, imagine the mischief her and big brother will get up to hehehe...

Angelique - Did you post pics of Cole, have I missed them?!

Lisha - Weddings on a Sunday, the only time that's ok is when there's a public holiday on the Monday lol!

Lelani - Glad hubby is better, nothing worse than a poorly man lol

Ara - Sorry about Ethan's tears, I'm sure it'll only take a couple of weeks for him to settle, can't be easy to leave him like that though.

Nicole - Glad K has settled into his daycare. And huge congrats on the house!!!!

Julz - Sorry you've had such a crappy start to the year, it has to get better from here!
