Morning ladies,

Julz- sorry you're really not feeling good, not nice at all when you still have to try and work. I'm sure this weekends events really haven't helped your recovery, why does everything have to happen at once thinking of you.

Nicole- we had some terribly loud electrical storms here over the last month, I think they're getting worse every season. C also doesn't wake with the thunder, amazing isn't it. I'm so excited for you and your new house!

Yoza- I'm pleased Siba's ear is better. Xxx

I had the most awful evening and night with Jonathan's colic! The Bennetts doesn't seem to help anymore so me and Elwyn were both sat up for 2 hours trying everything to calm him down. And Alex is busy choking on phlegm all night long so we really had a bad night. Need to get the humidifyer out today I think. Can anyone remember if it's o.k for me to use eucalyptus oil in the humidifyer with the little ones?

I have forgotten so much about newborns in 2 small years, it's incredible how much you forget.

My boys have officially grown out of Tiny baby clothes, they now fit into the smaller of their newborn clothes at 7w LOL today they are wearing little summer growers that C wore when he came home from hospital and they're still a bit big for them. I think C will always be the big brother even in litteral terms.

ARA Dylan started a new school in Dec and he cried each morning for about 2/3 weeks. It broke my heart. They did tell me though that he settled as soon as I was gone.

It will get better each day!

Vix regarding the sterilization, no child can replace one that is lost so I am not in favour of that argument. I recon if someone only had one child then yes possibly but it is just too awful to think about and like you say you can't live in fear of the what if senario.

Ara i know exactly how you feel re: being emotinally stressed about LB starting new school, K also started his new school last week and it has also been tough, i cried most days last week and have been so concered about his safety. ((hugs)) it will get better.xxx

Vix you are one strong lady!!! Don't know how you juggle between the house and kids, I can't even cook when it is only me and Ethan in the house. Maybe I should move to your country to be thought a "lesson" in doing everything yourself. Re sterilization: Glad that you are at ease with your decision and remember it is only you and hubby that can make such decision. Mine was done with my c-sec so I only had the one cut. Strongs...

AFM: I'm very stressed at the moment, not feeling so well - emotionally. Ethan started school last week and I'm ssoooo stressed. He don't want to go in the mornings, but when the nanny fetch him in the afternoon, she says he is fine. I want to cry every time I look at his baby photo's..

I can't believe you girls are talking about schools!! Dh says that he should go to the model C school we have and want him to go private. ( I will have to stay clear of Julz house, because DH feels like Neil ) This will be a debate that will go on and on for a couple of years. Both of us went to government schools and we turned out fine, but I want E to get a bit more attention.

RE potty training: We are nowhere with the potty training I've started with him during the holidays, but now with school he refuse to pee in the pot. Will have to wait till he settles and start again.

Hi Ladies.

omw we has such thunderstorms and lightining last night, the worse that i have ever seen in a loooooooooong time!! So we went to lie with K (although he didnt even wake up) and all of a sudden we heard this big bang and all our lights etc when off. Needless to say we only went to bed close to one as i couldnt fall asleep and when we woke this morning still no electricty, the lightining had hit the electricity pole right in front of our house eeeek. Hoping they fix it soon as i really dont want to have to get rid of our food.

Vix in the end it doesnt matter what anyone else says, you know yourself weather you want a another child or not and we can all see how much you have thought about this and it is the right way to go for you and we all definatly support that. People can be so flipping nosey and opionated on matters that really dont concern them. Have you authorised the sterlization now? How did it go with the domestic?

So i was mega impressed with my boy this morning, i put a new nappy on him and about 2 min later he ran to me saying "mommy wee wee in potty" so i thought it was an excuse to get his nappy off, but i took him anyway to the potty and low and behold his pee'd so we definatly getting there

sorry I was absent yesterday. I was so ill I could hardly walk. Had a bad night the previous night. Anyway I called my doc and he said he isn't sure about nausea but I was about to ovulate again so it could be that. I recon I got whatever Dylan had on Saturday night as I am feeling a bit better today.

As far as schools go I think we will send Dylan to Panorama. I may look at Welgemoed but will see. Panorama has larger classes but it is closer, I went there and it is still one of the best primary schools in the Western Cape. Government that is. Neil is pretty against private schools. He maintains that education begins at home anyway. As far as high schools go we will see. Neil is keen to send Dylan to one of the bigger boys high schools in the southern suburbs like Bishops (if we can afford to) or Sacs. I recon if we did that we would have to move there though so lots to think about but still more time.

Dylan will do Grade R where he is now. If he has to repeat due to his birthday only being end of year then I may put him into Panormam for the second year of grade R but we will see. He seems to be doing fine and on par with the other kids.

Potty training not too bad at the moment.

lelani: Glad that things are well with DH. Chanel is such a lovely girl and I do wish her best.

On the subject of schools siba will be going to kenridge primary obviously English and co-ed and the good thing its a walking distance from our house as for high school am not sure which one but there is a high school in our neighbourhood and people say the primary and high school are good.

The kids are well siba's ear has cleared his back at playschool no crying i hear. buhle was bit miserable today cause big brother was not around. piwe tells me she kept on crying everytime she did not find him in their play pen.

shame my poor angel. im leaving an hour early am missing my angels.
