Having a fruit salad now. if still hungry i have a peanut butter sandwich. Need to go stock up on fruit and veggies this weekend for next week. Cant wait to eat the healthier nicer foods again!

simone - they to me doesn't sound like a very "christian" attitude that they have quite frankly! They sound more like good-time Christians. Tell them to SOD OFF!!!!

You are right with the selling...forgot about that, but say they sell them to SA on dstv...i pay my dstv subscriptions? If its on SABC I pay my tv licence. So still a bit grey for me.

What sparked this was DH and bil having a 'discussion'. Bil works at a place where they have all series readily available on their network and he used to copy everything. So he told G that he is now 'blameless' as he has gotten rid of everything as its a sin. So G said, but what about the kiddies movies and cartoons? So bil got annoyed and kinda evaded it...but his point (hypocritical in light of the kiddies stuff) is that we are sinners and he is so squeaky clean.

He and sil are on this major 'holier than thou' mission! Its so annoying because i dont see them as the christians that they think they are! They dont know how to treat people like human beings. G and I have to watch everything we say or do because we are either jealous, negative or copying them! real christianly attitude!

Bil was veryy upset after that and I assume he and SIL had a long discussion about how all we/G tries to do is bring him down! (This is the same guy that said G is trying to bring him down because they didnt agree on the SA cricket team line up! Sensitive a-hole!)

Anyways....it just got me thinking to look into the matter.

Simone I don't know. To me it all seems the same. I wasn't aware that the networks actually release the series themselves over the internet. They are still selling it to other countries & still need to make a profit so are they putting it on the net for us to download??? No judgement from me in this respect because as you know I do the same just in my mind music, movie or series downloads from the net must be a monetary loss to someone???

Okay this is totally off the topic and really not meant to spark a religious debate, but i'd like some constructive opinions if anybody is prepared to offer up any

I'm trying to research piracy and christianity Well I could even say piracy and the law...as in chrisitanity one needs to follow the laws of the country.

I am feeling a bit conflicted...you know how I love my shows Still reading and googling a bit...but I have come to the conclusion that movies are kinda a no-no considering we would pay to watch them. So technically stealing the money the movie company would have made if I had paid to watch that movie.

Music is a no-no seeing as we would pay for the cd (hubby is not gonna be happy if I make him delete all the music...lol).

Series i am a bit divided on. I checked on Fox.com and they actually release all shows after the airdate onto the internet (on their website) so you can watch it. So that seems okay to me....if the owner of the shows are making them available then there should be no problem with me watching it. Or am i looking for reasoning so I dont have to let my series go?

lol Simone Addy sounds like quiet the character. Last night Shrey comes to me, asks to be carried and then says 'time to sleep'. Bloody hell took him 1 hour to fall asleep.

Helen lol @ oliver and the ketchup! Unfortunately my child wants to see it. Yesterday i had to put butter on a piece of choc cake. Luckily she was just being difficult and didnt eat any of it.

Julz that's it...a waitress, air hostess (do you have a toy, must I change the music, want a snack, is the sun in your face, etc???) lol. They are real little diva's these kids!

We had a good night, dry bed. THEN at 5:52am we heard somebody go: I WANT PORRIDGE! I WANT POREEEEEEGE!!!! Man I wanted to smack her. She refuses to eat supper....so now she is starving early in the morning???? Her dad was not impressed and had to go make matabella that time of the morning. She was still dog tired though. Anyways now they are at the beach.

She is getting very demanding with the: I WANT TEEEEEEEE! She has this high pitched ending...and we have been giving it to her and i am realising she is just being rude. So now if she doesnt say please mommy or daddy she wont get it!

And all of a sudden Daddy is GERARD! She only calls him Gerard. Mama where's Gerard? Gerard come on, lets go! Where's Gerard going? She does call him daddy 60% of the time...but the Gerard is being used more and more. no idea why??? Its completely new.

Yesterday she goes outside and says: oh no! Its cold! where's my gown? where is MY gown????

Julz that is scary with the holding of the breath! Funny enough yesterday Addison started pretending to hyperventilate or have an asthma attack....well that was the sound. But Dylan was sleeping....so that is scary...whereas Addy was awake and playing. If he does it again I suggest you maybe just call paed and mention it?
