Simone- Glad you're feeling a bit better but I wish you a speedy recovery soon, not nice to be sick on your leave! I am also starting to get sick, my nose started yesterday and today o have sore glands and throat, not sure I can take more than panado whilst BF though, need to pick up Medsips from chemist tomorrow.

It was bloody scary and I seriously learnt a lesson about over heating the baby. Because they're prem they're not so good at regulating their own heat so I wrap them up nicely but I need to leave the head open to breathe I think. Elwyn is paranoid today, he keeps checking on him and making sure the monitor is on. I however know it was the over heating so I'm not too worried.

Nicole- I hope K enjoyed his swiming.

Oh my word Vix!! Oh my word! I feel like puking on your behalf:-( I am so so glad that u have that breathin pad! Okay I wanna try not to think cause I feel like crying! I hope it NEVER happens again! How scary!

Nicole terrible windy weather here. Heaven alone knows when PE will have good weather again!

Addison luckily slept thru. Gerard gave me meds and let me sleep til 10am cause addy was up kinda early. Feeling a bit better just dread coughing due to phlegm (TMI).

Omg vix that must havd been so scary for you guys! How was Jono the rest of the night? I really hope you never have to experiance that again. Julz i hope Dylan is not ill? We went grocery shoppin this morning & the shops were so quiet! We are now watching K swim, its so hot here today.

Holy crap, I don't think we're gonna sleep well tonight. I was just in the loo getting ready for bed when Jonathan's breathing pad alarm went off. Elwyn and I ran in the room and picked him up and I think that stimulated him to breathe again but his breathing was very very shallow and erratic. He was wrapped in a blanket and I think he must have gotten too hot because he was hot to touch. Wowzers, that's real scary when that alarm goes off and your baby is actually sleeping in the cot at the time, that has never happened to me before and I hope it never does again, I feel like I could puke right now. His breathing has regulated again so now I put him back down. I thought about sleeping him with me but I know that's more dangerous and I won't wake up if he stops breathing again so he's back in bed with the breathing pad on. Scary stuff, they did tell us that prems do have a habit of stopping breathing for 20 seconds but shit nothing prepares you for when it does happen.

Mandy- wow, that was a pretty harsh thing for your Dad to say, maybe you take it well because you have a good relationship with him? If it was my Dad he could be assured I wouldn't be calling him until he apologised for sticking his nose in. I'm sorry but I wouldn't have accepted anyone telling me I'm not looking good enough for my own DH, if he can't speak up for himself then he has his own issues, if he doesn't say anything because he doesn't feel that way then why should anyone else be thinking like that. If anything I think you look fantastic, never have noticed the extra kg's you say you carry.

Julz- C does just like Dylan and waves and says "bye Mommy" when he wants me rto leave the room. These lkids are so adorable.

Simone- hope you have a MUCH better night tonight. I love imagining Addy run round telling you exactly what she wants! C has also started using chairs and stools to get into cupboards and to light switches!!!!

O.k I must go to bed again, it seems like I'm forver getting to the end of the day.

Aw julz Dylan sounds so cute waving goodbye! Addy went down in a flash tonight so I reckon...oh let me rather not say it! Lol. Hope Dylan is not sick:-(

Mandy hate to know what your dad would say to me!lol. But my dad was the same but he`d more jokes of it. I'm sorry he said it like that though...and I think u look greatso thinking huh??

Oi with addison everything is `mine`! Where is my gown? Where is my cap? Give my rings (my wedding rings)! Even `where is my table` so she can climb on it to get to the chip cupboard.lol.

HI ladies

Dylan only just went down but he did have a very long late afternoon nap. He has had two really bad nights in a row and got two reddish eyes. I am not convinced that he is okay and had a bit of a rash for a couple of days, but no fever so I am just giving him pain meds. The last time he got a head cold he got gunky eyes but the doc said it wasn't anything catch so I am going to play the waiting game.

Every night I sit with Dylan for 5 minutes while he goes to sleep but tonight he took forever and he eventually waved at me. I asked him if I should go and he said yes!!! Everytime I went in he said bye and waved and is now fast asleep without me!!!

Okay so we had a nice quite new years eve at our friends. Sadly the cape doctor was pumping as usual which made it very unpleasant to sit outside and they are right up against the mountain so the property is very sloped with huge drops and dylan kept on getting blown over which freaked me out. He didn't sleep well at all so we have been recovering the whole day!!!

Mandy I am so sorry about what your dad said. It is always harsh hearing it and sad that so much is placed on how we look!!!! I honestly don't believe weight is that important to men however 40kg may cause and issues. I have also gained weight and need to take it easy now.

Simone Dylan has his last bottle at 7 30 basically since he was 8 months old and yes he has slept better since. I am not sure what is up with him but will see how tonight goes. Sorry about your hectic night.

Oh and nothing is more lazy than trifle for dinner. Dylan isn't eating much at the moment probably due to feeling a bit off. He ate a whole hotdog for lunch though and tonight he didn't want food but drank a fruit smoothie and a bottle. Oh and i tried cows milk and he wouldn't drink it. Hooked on soya formula.

Vix Mandy is right. The idea of having a maid put me off and I must be honest, I hate having someone in my house. I hate Mondays and Fridays especially since I work from home BUT she is a tremendous help and she is on leave at the moment and I honestly can't cope. She doesn't do that much and cleans badly but I clean my basin with a toothbrush etc so not sure anyone would clean to my satisfaction. What is great is that she sorts and irons the laundry which I have no time for and she vaccumes and cleans the floors. After an hour of the boys being home you would never say she has been but the ironing is done.
