A maid once a week sounds good to me Vix, try it, even Julz got used to it! Once you get over having a stranger in your house, it will be such a welcome help for her to do all the heavy cleaning. There is nothing better than getting home on a wednesday after my house has been cleaned!

Hope you all had a super duper day ! Ours was great. We took Cameron to feed the ducks at emmerentia dam, and boy, those ducks were ravenous! at one point they were surrounding Cameron and I edged my way next to him and had to literally SOFTLY kick the duck on the chest to get him not to try to take the bread out of him hand! I was actually scared! Cameron started confidently shouting GOWAY!!! and said come mommy I kick ducky! So I said no Cammy we dont kick duckies! I had to teach him that we DONT kick duckies but that they are very hungry and we musnt tease them with bread dangling out your hand! that we must THROW it!!!

Then we played at home. I started excercising again today - since the horrible truth that my dad told me that I am fat and that it cant be nice for my husband to have gone up a dress sizeeee (((((. I'm still dissapointed in him for telling me that way and he even said what if my husband wants to leave me!!! but he was right and I was just really embarressed and while I know my husband is not that shallow, I dont like feeling 8kgs heavier than I should be and I agree that with discipline I can and will get my pre preg body back!!! The alternative is that I am continuiing to put on weight at a steady increase and its just not healthy!!

I am only making lazy dinners these days but we're having an even lazier dinner of KFC tonight yay! Because I've only just sat down to express after the mass feeding session, can you think what time I'd eat dinner if I still had to cook.

I can't wait til the feeds stretch from 3hrs, it takes me 1.5hrs to feed so I get 1.5hrs to express and do all my other things like bath/shower, do washing, housework, blimey, I don't stop the whole day. Elwyn wants to get a maid once a week to give me a break which is great for the work load but I'm really un easy about having a stranger in my house. Not looking forward to training her either, it's not like I have the time but hey, I see the benefit in the long run.

Nicole- the boys are doing greta, I weighed them on the kitchen scale (I'll post pics soon) and Jono is 2.3kg 700g above birth weight and Alex is 2.6kg 400g above boirth weight, they both put on about 200g per week since Jono came home. I'm so pleased cos it shows I'm producing enough breast milk to provide well for them both and Jono's colic can't be health related if he's putting on weight so well. Which actually I must say has been a bit better since I started him on Reuteri drops and extra TLC. I think he's suffering an emotional form of colic, maybe from being in NICU for the first 17days then suddenly getting held more at home. Well it is slightly better anyway.

Last night wasn't really very good, I only got to bed at 11:30 after feeding then expressing etc, they woke at 1:30 and I only got back to sleep at 4 because Alex wouldn't stay latched, I think my boobs were a bit too full but I just don't feel like expressing before night feeds too, that means I have to try and wake before them which is almost impossible.

Nicole I just made the laziest supper! Boiled some fettucine, then stirred in sun dried tomato pesto and creme fraiche. Grated some pecorino over it and black pepper and that's supper! Took 15min from start to finish.lol

Feeling so freakin nauseous so not sure if I have tummy bug with this flu:-(

Weather is crappy here in PE as well!

Hi ladies. Ally sounds like u r having tons of fun! Julz i wanted to tell you re:the buzz, at game there is a big buzz that has bubble bath in it for R90,i emptied the bubble bath in a container and k plays with buzz & loves it, it doesnt do anything special though. We have had a lazy day, bad weather here. Having easy supper-marinated chick breasts with salad & garlic roll. Vix how are the tweenies doing and yr c-sec scar? Am suppose to b back at work on Monday but K new creche only opens on the 10th, have to tell bosses 2m-eeek, but have no other choice but 2 take extended leave.

Our night was also quite boring. Just had a divine dinner of Prawns, calamari steaks, creamy mussels and roosterkoek. But C and I are both sick (some chest infection) so we didn't even drink. Although NYE is not so important to me like it used to be. Maybe when the kids are bigger we'll party like we used to. Just not worth it to have a massive hangover when I have 2 toddlers to take care of.

C has gone fishing and the twins are being super naughty today. Really testing my patience. Thank goodness my aunts and cousins are here to keep them away from me lol.

I'm going to make myself a strong cup of coffee and eat a dozen doughnuts now lol. My uncle doesn't stop buying food. He buys the yummiest stuff so the diet has gone out the window good and proper. He bought rolls, scones, doughnuts and milk tart yesterday for lunch and then now bought another 5 boxes of food with. Goodness gracious!

i dont know when i will learn! after saying addison is sleeping well...flip what does she do? lay awake crying all night! she woke at 8pm but very tired but we wanted her up. after about half an hour she woke up properly...went to bed fine around 10pm. theb woke up crying and crying. went to lay by her...wanting to throttle her! put her in our bed...even that didnt help. she asked to go to the toilet...g took her but she did nothing. then up at 7am. i felt her head thinking maybe she is feeling sick...maybe it was fireworks...i really dont know but man i was not impressed!

Okay when I say all night it was about 10 minutes.lol. But u know what it feels like at that time of night!

Hope the rest of u had a good evening! I'm overdosing on flu meds today cause I'm not feeling well.
