Vix, it's amamzing that Jono has picked up so much weight and I am glad that he will be home soon. I am so glad that he took the breast so well. Clever little boy. Hope that Alex's cramps get better

Christi, hope that all your renovations run smoothly. Don't worry about still BF Iris.

Lwasi...how many more days???? I am so glad that it's almost time for you to see Amu. You must be counting every second now.

Julz...Glad your trip is going well and I can only imagine how you are missing your boys. In a way I too am glad that I haven't figured out my cycles as yet...because I do not want to stress at all about OPK's and HPT's for now...we will just do it the "fun" way. Nicky is denfinitely complaining

Lisha, I was thinking about Shrey the other day as our local checkers has such amamzing "Toy Story" toys and things...I am sure that he would go crazy...or does he have a new favourite.

AFM, My mom has been her since last friday and my dad has his last day at work today (he was still here for 6 months) so this morning my dad is leaving for Good. The two of us spent so much time together over the last 6 months so I am really going to miss him. Poor Cole, started crying last night when my dad packed his last thing...asking "Pa, where you going".

Cole is still a good boy for mommy, playing nicely and sleeping well.

Zamzie please follow your doctors advice & take care of yourself and your precious cargo. Hope Imana is being a good little girl for her mommy in the meantime.

And forgot to say earlier that everyone going on leave must have a nice holiday and be safe. I am totally jealous but still hope you guys have an awesome time off

Hi ladies

Got back late yesterday could not provide feedback & drank medication and slept I have a bit of a fever. Dr booked me off until delivery the baby did not pick up any weight last week he was 2.4 & this week no change still on the same spot. Im going back again next Tue Dr will decide what to do. She said strict bed rest , I should eat & sleep


Jess very happy for you , for being so lucky I say 0 on our 4D scan I even went twice.

Vix love Jono's progress Im sure he'll be home for Xsmas. Wow Im sure it felt good to breastfeed him for the first time.

Julz I did not know you are in India , enjoy my friend & come back with nice dresses & summer shirts

Lelani glad to hear the kids & Jack are all well. PS I am totally jealous of Zian's sleep in till 9am over the weekend - if only Shrey possessed that skill.

Julz I cringe everytime I think audit and that's all the time Shouldn't be too bad if I have everything ready in advance.
So pleased you're doing well in India. You're right no matter where or how we live we still experience the same joys. Good that the business end of your trip is going well also. Hoping time flies by now so that you can get back to your guys.

AFM we had a very restless night but figured out that it's the days' dh plays action cricket that Shrey has these bad nights. Think it's the noise of dh showering, opening drawers etc that ruins Shrey's peaceful sleep.
Otherwise we had a nice evening. Shrey wanted to to shell pecan nuts for him as soon as I got home with it and I said no he must have supper first but this manipulative boy of mine starts giving me kisses and says love you mum just so that he gets his way lol.

Vix, I'm so glad Jono is such a little star with the bf.

Christi, I agree, it's your business what you decide to do with your child. I never got the hang of breastfeeding and I knew from the beginning it wasn't for me but I knew the breastmilk was the best thing for my babies and I expressed for about 8 weeks. ANd I'm still being judged for the fact that I chose not to breastfeed. All my friends that are pregnant now ask me why and I just never took to it. I felt uncomfortable the whole time and I don't pretend any different. I'm fine with the fact that I didn't breastfeed. So don't even pay attention to the people that are saying anything. Every child is different and whatever you feel comfortable with is just fine!

Julz, so glad you are safe in India.

It's cold here today but actually it's good coz I have quite a bit of work to do. I need to figure out a lot of stuff for the upcoming here re my blog and advertisers etc.

Had my check-up yesterday - alls well. Had a laugh at the gynea's face he took measurements 3 times to make sure but baby is weighing in around 1.5kg's already! LOL its going to be a big one again which is good

Helen & Vix - give the babies a kiss from aunty jess!

Ally - I'm very envious at the fact that you're on holiday! pls enjoy it & think of me while sipping that cocktail! LOL

Julz - enjoy your trip to India. The country has such beautiful scenery.

RE the breastfeeding - I also would go to about 6 months or so. No longer but if its working for you then go for it.

Hi ladies,

I breast fed Jonathan for the first time! Exactly 2 weeks after he was born I finally got to feed him on the breast and he took it instantly, he drank for 30min! Wow what a clever little man I have there, no issues what so ever. He doesn't have as strong a suck as Alexander, it was so soft and sweet. My little angel is going to do just fine on the breast! I'm going to feed him again at 11am after the CPR training tomorrow and then again before our pead visit at 2. I'm so chuffed, that just goes to show this stupid theory that once you give baby a bottle they won't take breast is completely wrong because he has been on a bottle for over a week 8 times a day and he took the breast like he's been having it from day 1. It really is dependant upon the baby.

Christi- I personally would say go for the new job if you can handle R200 less gross salary. Half day will give you so much more time for other things you might want to do with Iris but also if they wanted to extend your hours to full day for some reason you could make way more money than you're earning now, plus the experience and the potential to further your career. I forgot to say about the BF, bugger what other people think, they don't need to know you're still BF at night, if you and Iris are both still comfortable doing it then why not? Personally long term BF is not for me, I say if I can make it to 6m I'll be happy but each to their own. Thanks for your thoughts regarding peanut butter, it makes sense because Alex has cramps today too and I had peanut butter yesterday too.

Simone- I'm also anxious to hear how Addy's experdition went today?

Julz- sorry you're in the middle of nowhere, not very nice I'm sure. I hope your driver has some great places to take you tomorrow!
