Jess- I keep forgetting to ask, I have loads of maternity pads left over, do you still need some? I have 2 packs of Carriwell and also a couple packs of Always nighttime pads. Oh bugger now I remember I never got to post those clothes to you too. My brain is dead these days.

So when are we going to have our Jan meet/babay shower for Jess?

Julz- sorry you're having such a hectic time, I suppose it makes the time fly faster till you can be home again.

Lwasi- not long now, you must be so super excited! I posted your stuff but they say cos the public holiday etc it will only arrive Monday sorry! I will send you the tracking number on FB but I can"t reply to FB messages until I get more Data for the PC.

Hope everyone had a great Family Day!

Jess- you didn't miss anything major don't worry, just me trying to explain away the craziness of my to-ing and fro-ing from the hospital with one twin in and one twin out, makes for craziness.
I forgot to say the other day, I'm pleased to hear you have a nice big boy growing inside there. I'm sure he's going to come Feb rather than March hey? Sorry you still have to work today, when does your leave start? At least you will only have a little bit to work in the new year before ML starts.

Simone- Poor G being woken up like that LOL Not that he complains I'm sure, bet it would take a lot to hear that man moan and groan.

Lelani- I can't understand why JHB'ers go to somewhere beautiful like CT and want to go shopping all the time! We have tons of great places to shop here but no where near as many beautiful sights to see. Trust me when I come down we will be doing wine tours!!!!

Nelly- yay for having you back online! I'm sure Lelani or Julz mentioned a meet at Julz house around the 8th Jan? Please keep us updated with Zamzie! We are egarly awaiting updates on baba's growth!

Jonathan is coming home today!!!!!!!! Can't believe this day has finally come after 17 days. Can't wait to get the boys home and see how they react at being re united. Just one problem, they both prefer the same boob so we're gonna have sqquabbles early on in life. Somehow I think Jono will always be the one to get his way and Alex will always have to have second choice especially if Daddy has anything to do with it, he has formed a HUGE soft spot for Jonathan!.

So now I think I am learning why Alex didn't pick up much weight, I just feed and feed until he won't accept the breast anymore but the sister told me premmies must only suck for 30min max or they actually end up burning more calories than they take in and sometime he will feed for most of an hour. Will try cutting him off at 30min and see if it helps.

OK clearly I've missed something in the last 24hrs!! I'm going back to read up now but I see Vix's name in there so that's got me worried!

Had a pretty relaxed day today - it was raining here till almost 11 this morning so we just chilled out in the house - Bryce fell asleep on the couch watching Toy Story & that was my chance to catch a snooze to - I got 1 whole hour from 09h40 to 10h33! Went to DisChem & got 2 more tins of the Mommy 2 Be shake by Nativa, I bought some at the baby expo a few weeks ago & really liked it. On the way back stopped & bought mielies for dinner because I really didn't feel like cooking AT ALL!!!

Bryce is passed out at about 18h45 with a bottle of Horlicks & I'm on-route to make a cup of coffee & tackle that woolies custard slice in the fridge! LOL (FYI its because of the above that I'll NEVER be skinny  )

Tomorrow Bryce is going to ouma & oupa for the day (his school closed yesterday) and I'm still at work. My mom will probably hit the shops with him to do some Christmas shopping. So gotta remember to take his stroller & extra car-chair.

Hi ladies

Had a seriously rough day. I did not sleep at all last night. You know when you have to get up really early like 3 in the morning you never sleep. I was awake for 30 hours straight so when I arrived at the hotel today I crashed. As in couldn't wake up at all which was great. What I needed. Luckily my boss is really great and supportive and is really chuffed.

Oh vix I placed myself in that area as it was close to the clinic. Yes I am looking at more business opportunities for us so I had to visit with new doctors and clinics and remember apart from my boss I am the only other employee!

Vix I am actually annoyed on your part for how rediculous they are being. What exactly are you meant to do at the hospital. They can certainly make a plan. If they could wheel dylan down to High care every 4 hours they can certainly give you a room to feed your babies in. I am sure things will be so much better once you are home. I am also super chuffed that you like your paed. It makes a huge difference and he sounds really great. Glad he is helping you with c constipation and yes don't stress about dummies and nappies or anything!

Mandy sounds like you are having fun on your holiday.

Simone sorry about the bonus. Is it possible that you earn more so thus received a smaller percentage. We used to do that at our previous company. Give a higher percentage to those earning less or they wouldn't get much.

Lelani enjoy the picnic.

ally lol at the please and Dankie. Great that they are bilingual.

Dylan eats some veg. He loves carrots and will pick them out first and if we make a stew he will eat peas etc but not on their own and he dislikes tomato. He will pick it out.

Sounds like Neil is having fun or not. Got a message this morning that he was stripping, eating his food like a dog, then the dog stole his food, then he was hiding away all within an hour.

I forgot it is a public holiday in SA. I wondered why n and d were still home!

Anyway ladies going to try to sleep but something tells me I won't be able to.

I am so getting sleeping pills next time. I already have a great trip planned for march so quite busy.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.
