Helen, great news that everything is well and that you can get some extra time to prepare for baby's arrival ...

Vix, I also think that something outdoors would be nice for them ... Bless your gran for thinking of you and the kids.

Vix have a look at crazyconcepts. They have wonderful things. I am not sure if you have a plastic warehouse like we do in CT but have a look there too if you do. I actually want to get Dylan a house for outdoors. He loves playhouses and all your kids (sounds hectic hey) could play in it.

Nice to be spoilt.

Doc is very happy with everything, baby is still sitting quite high and is facing the outwards so we're not ready to rumble just yet, he actually says he thinks its unlikely anything will happen in the next week (but never say never hey). My cervix also isn't quite ready so he'd advise against induction anyway which is cool cause I didn't really want it, he was the one that originally suggested it. And with me having a bit of a cold the virus has probably already transferred to the baby so it'll be best for us all to get better first, don't want a sick newborn

I don't feel ready for the baby physically, emotionally or mentally as yet so I'm quite happy with what he's said, I feel like I need the weekend at home with Theo to get everything finished up so hopefully the baby will give us that time

But other things that I really think have been great are the clamshell for a small amount of water - all 3 kids could fit into one of those and for now, C can climb in and on his own.

Also - the range of books first 100 words and first 100 animals has been awesome for cameron - he knows sooooooooo many of them and he has looked at them forever as they are hard page books

The only thing you could really get for newborns that i would buy if I were doing it again, are those things that fit over a nappy changing station with things that hang above their bodies for them to look at and try to hit or kick to keep them busy while you are busy with the other one or c..

okay - ive hit a blank! there must be loads of things you can buy!

Thanks Julz, I had no idea so I know I didn't have anything when I last went to the Dr at least. Will see what Monday's test shows.

C was only 3.3kg and he looked so tiny against his 8m old cousin, I dread to think how small the tweenies are going to look against my big brute! And I HAVE to handle them........ Oh my goodness they're gonna be so tiny......

Ally- C also has one of those black scooter things and he loves it but he is so zippy and fast on it now he actually is gonna cause himself an accident soon. Can't wait to see him on the pedal bike at Christmas.

My Gran sent over R1000 for the tweenies and C to be spoilt, I was gob smacked but I really don't know what to get them...... I'm sure I had a huge list of things for C but now the mind is blank. I want to spend it on something that will be useful for years not just months. Any ideas anyone?

I'm also scared of newborns and babies..just like vix. That's why I don't get broody lol.

Nicole, I think I know which one you are talking about, there's a princess one for girls? The twins got that last year and they are now WAY too big for it. They now stand on it and push it around but I want to give them to charity once their bdays are over coz they have those black bikes now that they love. Just maybe go have a look at that ride-on just incase it's the one I'm thinking of.

Whatever the twins don't get for their bday they'll get for X-mas. So lego, musical instruments, play do, dvd's etc.
