I know how you feel about just waking up and having nothing to do. That's why I first started the blog, it gave me something to do.

The twins also slept through but I hate when he wakes up so early, now I'm already tired lol.

I can't believe we're nearly at the end of the Birthday season.

Bummer on your early wake up Ally, C was up from 6 today but at least he slept through.

Your party preps sound lovely, I have heck of a sweet tooth, shame I can't teleport myself to your sweet buffet on saturday!

I told DH this morning I feel like I'm living a purposeless existence at the moment. I wake up in the morning and want to cry at the prospect of a long day of nothingness. My goodness it's so boring and every hour goes so slowly. I'm not even exhausted enough to sleep early in the evenings......... What am I going to do to keep myself busy whilst resting? Grrrrr At least now I can lay down witrhout pain but there is crap all on the TV and I can't even sit at the sewing machine.

Might take C for a walk around the bunny park later just for a change of scenery.

My 2 year old sleeps better than I could even dream of doing.

I think I am really starting to become gatvol of this now since this week, funny isn't it when the week started I was still feeling fine and now suddenly I can't imagine another 4w of such bad nights.

Yes i think the stress of it being the 1st birthday together with them not being able to really keep themselves busy was very stressful to me. Which is so stupid coz it's just a 1st birthday you know?

I think for me it's just that I know I'm not having any more kids so I really want to make every birthday count.

The twins have been driving us insane the last couple of days. I think they need a holiday as much as we do and those damn molars are still not out completely. I hate teething!!! No one warns you about the teething when you're pregnant and they should! That's the number 1 reason the twins don't sleep well some nights.

Lisha/Ally the push rider i was looking at is actually aged from 3 upwards, its alot bigger and higher than the ride-on's, i know which ones you are talking about as K got a winnie the pooh one. He has also outgrown his and now just pushes it around everywhere So i thought if i go the push rider now it will at least last 2 years.

Julz toys'r us have lovely art table and bench set for i think R370 and then they sell these huge art sets which include paint, crayons, koki pens, colouring pictures, stickers, play dough, chalk etc for only R99. I will try post the link of the art table later for you to take a quiz at



So my birthday boy was really impresses with his presents, we set the adventure playground combo out last night so when he ran through to the lounge this morning and spotted it, he was over the moon, he kept on shouting "yay" wow" lol, he immediatly climbed in and went through the tunnel etc. He also loved the truck/car set we gave him. He was laughing, singing and clapping his hands when we put 2 candles in a cupcake this morning and sang to him, his reaction was precious. I will try post a few pics of this morning during the course of the day

Ally i was also a stressed bunny last year for Keirans party and also feel alot calmer this year, maybe its because it was their 1st party??

So Aidan woke at 6h30...grrrrrr. And then woke Abi at 7 and now they're both watching Barney. I'm feeling mega irritated today and with no reason really. C is still sleeping but I feel like I just want to go kick him...maybe pms? lol

I can't believe the twins' party is really around the corner. I'm not panicking at least, last year this time I was a wreck. I guess it helps that the twins keep themselves busy, not like last year.

On today's to do list : Get the banners and labels printed, make the crostini's, chicken liver pate, cake pops, rice krispie treat pops and I guess I can make the syrup for the lemonade also. So at least not too hectic.

Mandy- thanks for the link I'll have a look there. Not really planning to get anything for the twins to use now, I'd rather spend the money on something C can use for now but that the tweenies can share when they're big enough too. I kinda feel like I want it to go towards 1 substantial pressie rather than lots of little things.

Helen- great news that baby should be giving you chance to get well before the birth. Is your gynae only away for the weekend? He sounds like a nice respectful Dr not pushing you into anything.

I have hardly managed to keep any food down today, the odd yoghurt has stayed down but each time I try to eat a whole meal I have my head down the toilet before I can finsh my mouthfull. I can feel the babies are sitting very high today so I think my stomach just doesn't have space. I felt really good this morning but I think after a day of not eating much and a whole lot of runny tummy I feel pretty shot.

Zee- sorry you're so exhausted tonight, that horrible time of year for you hey?
