Simone you don't need to rush to hospital with a show but I did lol (also didn't know too much back then lol). The machine picked up the mildest contractions the 3 times or so they put it on. When my gynae came to check on me he offered me option of induction or going home and stupid me chose induction. Will never choose induction again although it didn't work out too bad in the end.
If water breaks you must go to hospital.

Ooh I always love holding newborns. Went to my beautician last Monday and carried her 3 week old ... so gorgeous but seemed so tiny even though Shrey was 200g lighter at birth

I've used Netflorist to send to friend in Jhb and they said it was gorgeous.

Vix is it safe to take the Citro Soda everyday till birth?

Nicole I am going to check if this push rider you're referring to is similar to Shrey's McQueen ride-on. If so, just check if K will use it for much longer. Shrey's legs seemed too long for his ride on for some time now but he still uses it at my mum's.

Need to get one more tax return done so I best get back to it.

Helen- The Cranberry extract Citro Soda is a urinary alkalizer which helps with UTI's and bladder frequency apparently, or so it says on the box LOL might be a nice idea to just take 5ml once daily until after the birth anyways because if you have a catheter for the epidural then it poses a risk of UTI or at least irritation, i have decided to take 5ml every day until after the birth. Really feel great but it's working on my bowel too and I'm pooing water so it's cleaning my system out that's for sure. No cramps though so not worried.

Simone- I believe the show doesn't mean too much other than your cervix is beginning to soften but apparently it can even take over a week for labour to actually start.

I had a bloody show when I was in labour. Well at the start but mine started off full on. The show isn't too major but if the water breaks it is best to go in rather.

Oh my word i was looking through the Toys r Us catalouge and saw the cutest push rider, it's a buzz lightyear one and if you turn the key it makes car sounds, same for for the gear lever, also buzz talks and plays music, very cute indeed its R299.90 then there was also a handy mandy wheelbarrow which is also cute for R150 so thinking of getting those two things for K for chirstmas I will then just fill his socking with a dvd, bubbles and some sweeties or something like that

Leaving the office at 15:00 today. got to clean out K's toys tonight, set the adventure playground combo when his gone to sleep and then tidy the house a bit as my mom, aunt, uncle and cousin plus DH dad are coming over tomorrow night for some cupcakes and coffee.
