Ally a bummer about Nandoes, but real cool of you dad to pay for the food, the menu sounds oh so delicious I cannot wait to see pics etc of the food, party and twins. K's party is also next week Saturday We are having the party from 09:30 - 11:30 so I plan to do sweet treats for the adults so there will be scones with cream and strawberry jam, carrot cake, cuppachino and bran & banana muffins, and then a few savoury mini quiches. THe kiddies will have their party packs and then will just send some of K's birthday cake home with the parents. Going to those boxes you get from Spar and stick a colour picture of Buzz on the front.

Ally best of luck with the interview today, but we all know you will kick a$$

So our braai last night was soooo nice and relaxing. Before we went home we went past the crazy store and put K a splash pool (was suppose to be one of his christmas presents, but I couldnt wait til then with this lovely weather we are having) When we got home we set the pool up and he went crazy (insisted on swimming naked though lol) so he played in the pool from 17:00 until 17:40, then got him dressed in warmer clothes and eventually at 18:45 i had to bribe him with an apple to come inside. When DH started the fire, K started singing happy birthday and began blowing at the fire like it was a candle lol

Jessica, how are you doing? i am sure that a baby shower + meet the new babies will be a great idea for a combined meet...

It was very hot in CPT yesterday so it was nice when my SIL invited us over for supper and I did not have to cook. Cole played nicely with his cousin and then slept so well last night too.

Vix - you can bet your sweet little british ass that you'll be part of ANY get together!! LOL You ARE ultimately the reason us girls became friends in the first place - so in a manner of speaking YES you might very well be the life & soul of the party! LOL

Oh went for my scan yesterday, Riley is sprouting nicely - doc says its looks like we might have another big boy on our hands soon! LOL Not that I'm complaining! Took Bryce with & had him with me when doc was doing the scan & explained to him that that is Riley in the picture. LOL Kids I tell you - he was fine & seemed to understand, then he turns to me & asked where is Riley's bike? .

Vix, I agree, January is fine with me for a shower/meet. We will probably be back by the 10th and then I just can't make the 23rd (C's bday weekend) but other than that, I'm free.

I'm slightly disappointed but then again, I shouldn't have gotten so excited. It was never a made out thing (except that the stupid PR girl said they would deliver the food at 3). But my dad is very kind and said he'll sponsor the food as a birthday gift (even though he bought them the dvd players) so I'm going ahead with the planned menu. Crostini's with 3 different toppings, caprese skewers and cheesy pigs in a blanket. Then for the kids I'm just doing jelly cups and fruit skewers. They can of course eat some of the food if they want to.
Doing the food myself will be better for my blog anyway.

I'm getting a bit nervous for this Justin Bonello interview, I have no idea why though. I just hate scenarios where I have to wait for someone in a restaurant. I always feel like they're going to ditch me lol. I told C that and he said well they'd be stupid to do that, you have a blog that a lot of people read and that you can bitch on lol.

I think I have good questions though so hopefully it will go well.

Oh, Ange, Cole is SO gorgeous. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his hair!
And about the hair loss, it's very strange that it's all in one spot. DO you not perhaps sleep in that spot all the time or do something else with that hair (like my cousin, she gently pulls one piece of hair ALL THE TIME, it's like her comfort thing)?

O.k then if I MUST be there LOL (like I'm the life and soul of the party) Then let's make it a plan to have the shower at my house in Jan. That way we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Seeing as we never manage to keep these baby showers seacret anyway LOL

Ally- I'm sorry Nando's aren't going to sponser the food for the party but then it's not very fitting for a candy shop party anyways hey? Shame, you must be dissapointed!

In all honesty either way is fine with me (i'm easy - ha ha ha yes not exactly in THAT way!) but whatever everyone else is more comfy with suits me fine - but Vix you have to be part of it, it just won't be the same without you! So, we might have to abuse your hospitality at some point. But I DEFINATELY want to see all of you before I pop. LOL

Vix, I agree about the shower. I'm fine with either, we just need to decide. (I actually think a moomie one is better because then the mommy gets spoiled twice, hehe)

I'm a bit miffed now but it's because of my own stupid enthusiasm getting me so excited all the time. With this whole Nando's thing, they said they might sponsor the food for the twins' party, and I got really excited and told my dad and my brother and now they say they're not going to do it. But the prizes for the giveaway are awesome but still...I just feel so stupid now telling my dad. Really irritating actually, and it's not even their fault, they did say they MIGHT! Hmmppff!!
