Simone, I've found that if I make pastry with Wooden Spoon it's a lot lower in fat (although not by much) but it still tastes yum. Puff pastry is VERY fattening.

We are very lucky with the twins. They never ever ask for our cold drink. When Abi sees a coke bottle she says "dada coke" and a coke zero bottle is "mama's coke" but they know they get juicy water. I sometimes freak out at my older brother because his child will ask for coke and he just gives him. No offering of juice or anything. And then my brother says "well wait for them to see you are drinking it and then you can't say no because they want what you want" so I told him, "So you give Thane beer? Cigarettes?" The twins asked for it once and I said "no, this is mama and dada's colddrink" and that was it.

K is odd as he wont eat any ice-cream or lolly, custard etc, if it seems new and strange to him he wont eat it? If we have take-aways like i said the other day he refuses to eat it. If i make him a mini hamburger/hotdog, refuses to eat it?? Weird thing is he loves his food mixed with rice, so if i make him pork sausage, rice and vegetables he will pick at it, if i mixed it all together then he will eat the whole dish? lol.....

If Addison wakes up and she wants a bottle, she first throws herself over G, settles and then takes the bottle. She WILL NOT take it in her bed. With me...she wants to be where G is...when he goes to sleep on her bed...when i wake up she's gone and squashed up next to him. Its cute...AND leaves me with the whole bed to myself! lol

Julz- that's cool, if C sees i have ice in my glass he always asks for some. oh and Coke....... i don't even give him coke and he asks for that or sprite. I take his 400ml sports bottle and he has 380ml of water in and now i have to show him that i pour 20ml coke or sprite in just for show. It doesn't even need to actually have anything in, last weekend i only had apple juice and he threw a fit so i picked up the empty coke bottle and pretended to pour and he was fine, drank the whole 400ml water and apple juice mix LOL what goes on in a child's mind is beyond me.

I have a problem with any kind of lollipop style ice cream with C, he will take a few licks but when it starts to dribble down his hand he throws the thing on the floor so i started getting him the smarties tub ice creams if we're out. so i kept a few and if we have ice cream at home i put a scoop in his smarties tub and he eats it with pleasure. again, strange child!!!!!

Mandy hope you guys get better. It is so nice having the house to yourself.

Vix Dylan is odd and will get a temp over 39 with no apparent cause and then be fine with no temp and have an infection.

Nicole I buy the ice lollies. You get mini ones sorrio or something and it comes in a cardboard holder so not much mess. Dylan prefers that to regular ice cream.

last night I gave dylan a cup of water. He looks into the cup and looks up at me with this WTF face and says "where is ice".

Simone- sorry about all the food talk but i am flippin hungry, so hungry even your fruit sounds nice!

C always wakes me up to get in our bed because it's a high one so he needs a hand in and even then he still wants to be in the middle. Some days he gets in, i go for a wee and he tells me no, i can't come in, he just wants to sleep on my side. Can you believe i have to fight to get back into bed. Oh well at least it's my bed he wants not me so when i sleep in the tweenies room he will be content on sharing with Daddy.

grrr hunger hunger, sorry girls i need to go eat!!!!!!
