Vix we had the same thing. Submitted Friday and then Monday I got notification he was assessed and by chance I looked in bank account and the money was in!

Guys I'm having a problem with Addison. She was doing so well on the toilet and potty...asking to go, etc. The weekend however she REFUSED to use the toilet. She even came to ask me to put a nappy on so she could wee??? WTF?

Today my mom says she screams: NO POTTY! And poo'd in her panty.

She was a bit constipated the weekend so I wonder if she got hurt (she said: Addy bum eina) and now is thinking it's the potty's fault?

Eish...seems a bit backwards! So will just have to leave her I suppose?

SImone- Elwyn only submitted his return on friday morning which is also so un believable, he got the sms about the money in his account before 7am today, shucks, SARS really have pulled their socks up.

Had a hectic weekend, but nice. Was nice to see Mandy and Cameron. He was a real pro at the moms and tots class with the puzzles...I was so impressed!

Ally...those white fugdey things do not sound very healthy...lol...probably why I wish I could have one!!!

Usually after a weekend I am about 200gms - 600gms UP because I slip up a bit. Very please to report I am actually 100gms DOWN since my Friday weight;-) Had weigh in today and i lost 900gms since last Tuesday. I am going to work my butt off this week so I can go find something nice to wear on Friday evening.

Addison found a candle this morning...so it was her bday all over again...singing for herself...complete with HIP HIP HOORAY! Then my friend from Ct mailed to say she sent gift with her sister for Addy and SIL also bought her a gift....so when those come...it'll be like it was a full bday month!

Good news, the herbalife chick was just here and I'm down 1cm at every measurement..and that in just 5 days. So now I can just hope my dad agrees to continue...at least just for this month. I really want to work hard this month. And then in Dec I know it's going to be very hard but if I can at least just drink one shake a day with the tablets and the concentrate then it will maybe help that I don't pick up any weight. But let's see.

Thanks ladies, i definitely think it must be an insect bite reaction then because he has been sleeping better every night for the past week and hasn't been ill at all so can't be chicken pox. I must say they are looking worse with every hour that passes but i have stripped and doomed the bed so hopefully if i keep applying anthisan the bumps will go down.

Julz- i was trying the glycerine supps on C with last weeks blockage and it was doing nothing as usual, i do think the scopex helped relax the muscles enough for the shear force of poo to push it out (with of course mommys hard squeezing) because it gets so sore he holds it in more and more, goodness it's horrible and i must say i now see exactly why my PND was so bad because it's pretty traumatic after a while.

Julz- I agree with your statement!

Lisha- shame poor Shrey with the bangs, we actually didn't get too many but the few we did get upset the dogs quite a bit. C didn't seem to mind them but we've been telling him the loud bangs is the lightening so he probably just thought it was more bad weather.

Hi ladies

We had a very tiring weekend. Shrey fortunately slept well all nights but just battled to fall asleep last night. Insisted that I carry him and that we go to the lounge. I switched of the lights, put tv volume on low and 5 mins later he was asleep - think all the weekend activity was too much for him.

Diwali was nice. We didn't end up lighting the few fireworks we bought because my poor child got so scared of all the other idiots huge bangs ... and let's not forget my mum's poor dog as well. We all just had turns carrying Shrey and eventually he fell asleep with the tv on. On another note - I ate way too much - my tummy has never looked this big other than when I was pregnant.

And yesterday dh & Shrey got measured at the tailor for clothes for sil's wedding. Making a waistcoat, pants & tie for Shrey - can't wait for it to be ready. But can you believe the cost of labour is the same for adult & kids clothes. Paying R795 for Shrey's clothes & that excludes the shirt. Thank goodness dh is paying hehehehe.

Helen hope you get to have alone time with your mum & Oliver for his bday. Hang in there and hope the situation is bearable for you.

Vix you must be so chuffed that C has taken to the pool now. Sure he'll be loving it a lot by December.

Julz also loving you pics at the waterfront. Glad D has taken to the pram again. We still get Shrey to sit in his when we're shopping but have to constantly give him something to keep him busy otherwise he will want to get out.

Vix like Julz said chicken pox rash will be preceded by fever and just him feeling unwell for a few days. Oh yes and it will be blister sort of rash.

Julz I would also be annoyed if someone did that without our permission.

First of all, Vix, apparently children can still get chicken pox if they've had the vaccine, it just doesn't last as long and it's not as hectic. C's niece had it like 4 weeks ago but it was over and done with in 3 days.

The storage boxes sound very nice!

Helen, hope you get your day alone with O and your mom. Can't wait to hear what the doc says on Friday.

Helen, a blondie is a white version of a brownie. I'll be making them this week and they will be part of a X-mas foodie gifts week I'll be doing at the end of Nov/beginning of dec. Think fudgy cakey type squares with chunks of fudge in it.

So I've finally stopped my procrastination and I'm getting everything done for the twins' bday. Did the dowel rod and paper plates for the lollipops yesterday. Need to go get more spray paint and other things today from this AWESOME craft shop. I'll probably lose myself in there and stay for like 2 hours lol.
