Been quiet here over the weekend.

So I picked mum up from the airport on Thursday, Oliver recognised her at first but then lost her in the crowd lol, hopefully he won't take too long to warm up to her, she's staying with a friend until Thurs/Fri so we won't see much of her until then.

Had a productive weekend, Theo's finally pulled his finger out and started getting on with things so the house is looking better Bit of tension between us though, seems the nerves and pressures etc etc are starting to hit home with him WRT the responsibility of a new baby as D-Day draws nearer. I think he's also worried about the outcome of my appointment on Friday...

Anyways, Oliver is well apart from deciding 5-5.30am is a great wake up time lol, its no thanks to the damn peacock that some idiot neighbour has, the thing starts cawing from about 4am so we all start stirring, not so great, I think I'm only averaging 4-5hours sleep as I'm up and down to the loo until about 11-12 and then I sleep until the peacock starts and after that I only doze until Oliver wakes up. I wonder if there's a law against disruptive birds...I promise you its worse than an alarm or a dog barking incessantly...

Angie - A massive congrats, exciting stuff to have a fresh start!

Zee - Lol at Ziani being the wicked witch, I don't believe it for a second hehe Tantrums are the norm it seems. I couldn't believe it when you told me about your MIL?! WTF?! Have you plucked up the courage to speak to her about it? Good luck with the studying, how much longer do you have to go, can you at least see the light at the end of the tunnel?

Nelria - Good luck with your studying as well, nearly there girl!

Ally - What is a baked fudge blondie...? Will we be seeing the recipe on your blog?

Lelani - Hope Chanel's studying continues. I'm sure she's going to love her Bday presents.

Julz, thanks for the link, I'm still thinking what to get Z for Christmas and all the other kdis in the family as well. I
I like giving them books and other educational stuff. They are probably not that fond of auntie Zee for that!

Any hoo, hope everyone else are doing well too. I'm writing exams in a week again, two subjects in a row. Feeling really despondent today, I've just got too much work and I can't take the load anymore. I'm sure the outing will do me good though!

And oh yes, I upgraded to the Iphone 4, very cool phone indeed!

Hope you are all doing well ... Not muchs news here, we went to Kindermusik today and the kids were suppose to practice for next weekend's concert but alas Z threw terrible tantrums and was the little wicked witch of Endor! You should've seen her, I was sooooo embarassed, not a good mornign at all.
She's asleep now and is going to my mom's a bit later. I'm going to see a movie with a friend a bit later.

HI mommies.

Vix, the weather is very funny here too. It's windy but clear, but so FARKING hot and humid. Feels like I'm in Durban. I hate humidity!

We are going to C's dad today. Neither of us are particularly in the mood but we only see them like once every 2 months. Baked fudge blondies to take with. Hope they come out nice.

We've decided on the twins' birthday gifts. Getting Abi a Shopping trolley, Aidan a tool trolley and each of them a little keyboard from ToysRUs. And then I want to get them each a backpack. A hello kitty one for Abi and maybe an Army one for Aidan so they can start packing their own bags when we go out etc.

DH is still asleep and C insisted on watching a movie in our bed so I am sitting up in the lounge with such beautiful peace and quiet!

I am quite frustraited, I need a few things from the fabric shop to finish the cot insert I need to do but if I drive out there then I'm not going to feel like sewing so it's going to be a loooong process LOL I can't wait to have my body back!

Weather is a bit yucky today so will most likely just get DH to do some work on these storage bins inside the cupboards.

Not much to say so will be on my way..........

Lwasi I got it at @home for R320 I think?? The make is: salter. Its the clear glass one. I know there is a black glass one as well.
