Hi Ladies.

Just a quick post, i am quite heartbroken. (perhaps over reacting) stayed at home with K yesterday as the whole weekend he had mucky eyes, so we decided to take him to doc this morning even though his eyes are looking better, turns out his had a middle ear infection all this time, but not to bad so not much pain, also the doctor noticed that his tonsills were swollen so i told her they like that all the time, she then went to check his record, his had 5 ear infections this year and tonsillities twice, so she is sending us of to a ENT specialists :( He his most likely going to have his tonsils removed and grommets inserted, i am quite shattered, as i really dont want him to have to go under!! I am scared of that myself, never mind having my son have to go under. :(

Mandy if you see this i have PM you my email addy, if you perhaps have the time could you explain to me how they did it with Cam, his reaction, healing time etc??? Thanks :)

Simone well done on the diet and sticking with it!!! Your food sounds so yummy doesnt sound like you are even eating "diet" food!!!

Ally wow busy bee, good luck for all the preps for the shoot!!! I know you are going to blow them away :)

Talking about best friends etc, DH and I are definatly each others best friends, we are basically together 24 hours a day, we work together, go home together etc, although we in and out of meetings at work and often miss each other, we still work in the same office and the best thing is that we never get sick of each other or irratated working together which i find so cool, also we never ever run out of things to speak about. We actually decided about 2 weeks ago to make a tradition where at least twice a week to have either a braai, or make a platter, have some wine and chat, then have a nice bubble bath together, cause although we together everynight we usually watching tv/reading and then dont really chat.

Simone it's easy to cook meat/chicken dishes without oil but veg will just dry out. But amazing what you can do if you out your mind to it.

Yes Simone he is still in his cot. I can't sleep with him in bed with us the whole night and to be honest I don't think he can either. Besides at least now that he's in the cot dh & I can cuddle at night lol.

Julz thanks. It was very eina and if I remember correctly I had pain last month as well but not this bad. Maybe time for a pap and a check up with gynae ... I am overdue with that

Simone well done and keep it up.

Ally good luck with your looong to do list.

Ag Simone, I meant to say Cottage Cheese. I LOVE cottage cheese. And I actually buy fat free, I just went to go check. But it's not great to cook with.

Lisha it is very likely to be ovulation which usually only occurs in 1 ovary each month and it isn't true that they swap each month.

It can be really sore and can last a few hours.

Tx Simone. I don't think it is a slipped disk. He can sit etc and isn't in shocking pain.

I just ordered Dylan two stegi swimming Nappies. The disposable ones are quite expensive and we want to swim often. I ordered them from 2kidsmamma here who has the doodlebums site and it worked out to 250 for both. They have nice training nappies too.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Lisha YAY on the good sleeping!! Is shreyan still in his cot?

I made lamb curry and was so worried about the oil...but I measured out the oil allowance (itsp per person) and then i braised the onions and then put a lid ontop to 'steam' it soft. worked like a bomb...no need for oily curry I discovered!! lol. learning everyday!

Morning ladies

Yoza I am so glad Siba is on the mend. Nothing worse than a sick child...one feels so helpless:-(

Nelria...oh I feel your pain. Addison has gone back to waking at 5:50 - 6:10am again...*sigh*. We just ignore her til about 6:30am.She comes and lies between us and tlaks to herself and then she gets up and wreaks (sp??) havoc!

Julz fx that Neil's back is not serious. I had slipped disc years ago...oh Lord...please NEVER AGAIN! I literally wanted to die!

Enjoy the gym and I am sure Dylan is gonna love the swimming!

Okay...so i peeked at scale this morning and I am down 4.6kgs!!! No starving. I am loving what I am eating. AND MY BODY FAT IS DOWN 13%!! I am so proud of myself. I still have a LONG way to go...but I am doing it the right way and teaching myself and my child the proper way of eating. My sister is also so pumped and doing this with me every step of the way.

Ally i checked the cream cheese fat content yesterday...cause I so badly wanted on crackers...but sadly their version of low fat is not low enough for me to eat it:-(

Breakfast...I had a huge fruit salad with fat free vanilla yoghurt and 1/2tsp of muesli for some crunch. Was very nice and I could not finish.

Lunch is a toasted brown pita with grilled chicken and a dressing of 1tsp low fat mayo, 1Tbsp bulgarian yoghurt, 1/2tsp wholegrain mustard and a squeeze lemon juice with lettuce, tomato and cucumber. I think it's gonna be yummy!

Yoza thanks for update on lwasi. How long will she be there?

You are right...was Nicole on yesterday???
