Ally you can make really nice food and depending what you make it can sustain you.

Simone I think I may have that book here somewhere. I am really proud of you for sticking to the diet and the food sounds devine. We never fry food really. Only grill or back. I cook with cream once a year maybe but I prefer tomato based pastas anyway. Always have.

Neil has hurt his back and is home today. They want a neurosurgeon to look at the xrays and will let us know. fx it is nothing serious. x

Yoza I also love baked goods and I lost so much weight when I went on the lactose free diet which cut it all out. I realised then how bad they are for you.

Got my gym assessment today and must sign Dylan up for membership so that I can drop him off at the kiddy section if needed.

Simone: I am so proud of you on the weight loss. My weaknes is cakes, muffins and cupcakes. I cook with no oil and low fat margarine. i dont use cream all low fat milk.

Buhle now wakes up after 2am. Iv gone back to baby massage that seems to help her sleep longer.

Nelria, i must say we have babies that dont sleep buhle wakes up at 5am. it helps me cause i have to go for a jog early to beat morning traffic.

re - kids i think lea cracked when she saw peeps on her stuff and took the high road and sulked with her dad - so she is no angel so she very much shouts myne, pushes her finger out and even shoves if she needs to I tell her off and guide but eventually she will get it


re - meet was very cool i had babysitters so not complaining at all - oh and WOW bryce can talk so clear I is very impressed as for the other kiddies mandy gave nice breakdown

oh Vix thanks for the info re:ttc. Makes sense like u explained it. It'll be better next month as I can keep track now of cycle. Also my specialist is a pcos specialist so he can also help me with the ttc part.

Julz a nice book I'm enjoying is 'eating for sustained energy 3'. Unfortunately I am watching everything I put in my mouth and food so we cook with minimal or no oil. Food is baked, grilled, steamed. Cream??? Hmm when last? Been living like this for 6w now.my brother not even trying to diet but just eating our suppers has dropped 4kgs!

A great low fat potato salad I make with baby potatoes and a dressing of garlic, plain yoghurt, whole grain mustard, lemon juice and a little low fat mayo. Its divine. And I made a salmon pasta with low fat evaporated milk the other night.was lovely. I enjoy the challenge of eating nice, but healthy.

My husband is my best friend. I'd literally be half a person without him...so I know how u all feel. We are bad because we actually make no effort with friends...its just us and our little family.

Jessica how far are u with vampire diaries? I've seen upto episode 3 now!I swear the show gets better and better!

Julz, there are so many fab recipes.

I have to say though, I've come to the conclusion that when I cook 'healthy' I land up eating 2 hours later again. So I've decided that from now on, I'll be cooking the way I want to cook with a bit of restraint. Instead of using 500ml cream I'll use a dash etc. but I'm not leaving it out. I also think that healthy food = real food so we have decided to cut down on the McD's (which is my weakness!!) and all the other crap. If I want french fries, I have to make it myself. If I want dessert, I have to make it myself. That way, I at least know what I'm putting into it and it will make me think twice if I have to make it from scratch myself.
