oh, no full body shots for guessing.......... since you are still loosing weight/keeping it low at least and your BP is ow I'm going to say it's a boy but from the pics i can't say i can even guess, it's beautiful whatever it is and it looks a lot like Oliver.

Jessica- how are things with SIL today? pleased to hear you're immune though!

Hope your BP comes up a bit. I am pro natural but only because I had an 'easy' birth ... hope whatever happens you recover well and better than the first time.

My friend at work has been on BP meds since 6 weeks due to high BP ... now her BP is getting low and she's feeling dizzy & faint but her doc won't take her off meds as it was same problem with first baby Hoping this baby stays in longer than her first baby.

Helen- so pleased everything is well with the baba, no pic though? I think you might have heard wrong with the BP, i suffer extremely low BP at 100/60 and at my C-sec i went down to 70/40 which is basically close on heart failure, i think if yours was 50/80 your Dr wouldn't have let you leave the room LOL maybe it was 115/80? waiting for a pic for sex guessing!!!!

I think it's understandable that in a way you would like to be told you need a C-sec after your previous wound experience but have you been doing pereneal stretches just in case? still try to get your body as prepared for natural birth you never know this baba might come early then it won't be as big as Oliver at birth so natural might not then be as bad?

look i don't think either way is bad even if you out rightly say i want a C-sec just because i do, as long as you choose what you want and don't allow anyone else to push you into something you don't want.

i know you had a hard physical recovery after Oliver but a C-sec is really very restrictive after the birth, actually it's quite horrible, i had C at 8pm and because i couldn't get up for 12hrs i didn't see him until they bought him to me in the morning, that's something i'm hoping to avoid this time but if you do have a late night C-sec it can well happen the same way.

It's not just sore but completely restrictive, for the first week at least you won't be able to climb into high cars, beds, low sofas anything like that, your body just won't let you because you loose function of your abdominal muscles, no matter even if you're not in pain they just don't respond as well as before.

I was a bit shattered this time to realize i won't be able to have a VBAC because as well as my C-sec went i hated the immobility of it and was sad to watch all the natural birth moms walking around the ward like they were just in for fun.

If you think you can go natural again without the physical trauma you had previously i would definitely suggest it.
