Morning everyone!

Dh birthday was lovely! He was soo surprised when he got home, Cj and I set up the table and lit candles and everything, and our little family had a very nice meal!!!! Shame, Cj and I made Dh a card Tuesday afternoon, and he couldn't wait for daddy to get home to give it to him!
CJ went to bed early - before 7 - so I had enough time to treat DH with the 4th course!!! This was his favourite off course! We really had a nice time, very much needed and luckily CJ slept through as well so that made the night even better!!!

Thanks for the tips on Toy Story Nicole and Lisha, I actually found Buzz lightyear cups, plates and serviettes, and that's all I need. I am making the party boxes myself and putting up big printed boards of Buzz on back of chairs. I am pretty much sorted with everything I need. We decided to have his party at this very nice venue, sooo exited - CJ went to a birthday party on Sat held at this venue and DH and I were very impressed, went to the people after the party and booked it for the 13th of NOV.

Vix, sorry about C's bad night! This teething is really bad for most of the kids at the moment!

I am so looking forward to this weekend! My BIL are coming to visit, CJ is so exited to see his cousin!

Lisha- enjoy your year of baby free zone because Shrey is a big boy now so at least you'll have a break. And at least by the time you do have no2 Shrey will be potty trained and possibly even off to school so i totally get why you want to wait! For me, I'm a SAHM so rather just get it out the way because until my babies are kids I can't really get my career back on track.....

Christi- just say you can't go because of your class in the morning and then you have to spend some time with Iris (remind them of the baby they have refused invitation to their wedding for) LOL I wouldn't go dressed as a whore oooo sorry 'naughty fairy' if I didn't know anyone there.

I was invited to a bridal shower last weekend but i only know the bride and just felt it would've been uncomfortable and a waste of our family time. I have instead added extra to the wedding gift itself.

Lisha must be honest i am definatly not ready to have another baba. K takes up all my attention and free time. He is really attached and doesnt enjoy sleeping out with family so no night off for us for a loooong time.


I am so glad its a long weekend Tomorrow I will be cleaning then wanna get myself some new clothes. Friday night DH friend is coming over for a braai, he is having major woman problems.

Saturday more cleaning/washing and then taking K to the touchfarm for a few hours to get out and about.

29 Oct, hubby birthday
6 & 13 Nov, morning & afternoon classes
20 Nov, hubby work function
27 Nov, twins birthday party (still have to confirm)
4 Dec, 2nd birthday party (Iris' niece) don't know if we'll go...

Somewhere in there we still wanna do a housewarming but I really don't know where & how

Bridal shower.... starting at 1 for 1:30 at Zoo Lake, dress code: Naughty Fairy ?!?!
1stly, I only get home from class at 1:30 if I'm lucky
2ndly, I DON'T do dress up AND I'm a prude
I will never dress in a tutu & fishnet stockings with high heels (picture on the card) and go out in public ... AND I don't have anything remotely resembling anything like that in my cupboard!
3rdly, I don't know anyone who will be there except the mother of the bride & the bride, plus all the friends are still students and usually irritate me out of my mind

Ok, so I told this to DH and now he is furious at me Said very sarcastically I must then just leave it!

Ok, Now I feel better, thanks for your ears (or eyes) ladies !!!

Vix shame hun I hope C's teeth cut through soon (if that's what it is) poor nunu's those painful cries are so heartsore.

Shrey slept through after that one wake up around 9pm, woke at 4:53 for a sip of water and woke up a happy chappy at 6:10. Maybe he was too tired or tummy ache or something .... I don't know.

Vix Shrey was actually amazing with the weaning. He asked for boob all of 3 or 4 times and everytime I reminded him that there was curry there and he didn't persist ... he still says 'curry in the noonie's' lol but he doesn't ask to drink.

Nicole I am sure if you change your theme K will be as excited as Shrey was ... everytime someone walked in he took them to table to point out Woody & Buzz I only bought the cups, table cloth and the paper whistle things. Everything else was plain stuff that I already had.

So I had a chat with dh and decided that I'm going on the pill for a year and only in a years time we will start trying for another baby ... think he was hoping it would be sooner but I am not ready just yet!!!

As for cluster feeding i have Zero advice, when C started cluster feeding smaller than Xen i freaked out and moved to bottle which was the most stupid thing ever because it didn't help at all! Next time i really hope i get 2 babies that (like Lisha's friend's LG) start to sleep through the night early on!

We miss you too buddy, terribly!

Julz- how are you feeling and what did the results of your blood test say?

Lisha- shame i hope Shreyan's pain is gone by tonight! Congrats on Shrey being completely weened that's great and you actually made the process seem easy!

My boy slept through for 2 nights and is now back to waking screaming. I don't know why, can't quite put a finger on it except to blame it on teething but he screams himself half awake then if i don't get to him he attempts to get out of bed in that half woken state and usually falls out of bed because he's not aware of what he's doing, poor boy, the tiled floor is hard and cold at 12pm!

Simone- so have you even looked at when you'll be having a baby if you fall preggies now? very exciting but i think it'll be a winter baby huh? oucheee for the sicknesses!

we seriously need some girls to be born peops!
