Nicole- wow what an eventful day! I must say especially as you did speak to your mum before it was very unfair for her to allow her BF's attitude to ruin the atmosphere, really uncalled for of him to confront DH on the day of the wedding especially! I'm so sorry it worked out that way but to be honest I spoke to Elwyn about it before and he also said if it was him he would also not want a relatively new BF of my mother to stay with his son. I mean it was one night and your mum should've said she won't look after K if it was an issue, I'm sure he could've stayed with your MIL/FIL instead.

but that aside I'm pleased everything else went well and you had a lovely day! You and DH sound so very very happy!

Christi- yay on having mum to stay, at least it's a 24hr day mom LOL nice for you guys to get a break from full time parenthood i think! Sadly I won't be able to drive to the west rand in Jan I should only be having my C-sec mid to late Dec so won't really be allowed to drive and not really sure about going so far on my own with C and twins so early on LOL

I think Nov will be my last chance to coffee date with anyone for a while, well of course i can host a meet once the twins arrive for anyone who wants to meet them but i don't think leaving the house alone with 3 kids is going to happen for quite some time and even if I bring Elwyn with to run after C i still think it'll be a bit much after the C-sec to take the twins out. I'm planning on going nowhere for quite sometime.

Dh said the most romantic things in his speech to me, my aunt recorded the whole ceremony so we have it on dvd

morning mommies. hope everyone is well. thought i would give you the run down of the wedding- the good and bad.

Friday i was so stressed as it was raining and really miserable and as you all know, we were having an outside wedding. Saturday there was so much craziness and running around, i ended up being at the hairdresser 40 min longer than expected so only got to hotel at 14:00 had an hour for everyone to be ready. K was so miserable he was crying on my lap whilst i was having my make up done.

with such luck and blessing at 13:00 the rain stopped and it was all sunshine so they set everything up outside.

At 15:00 went to meet my husband. I walked down the aisle to "the prayer" by Andrea Batcholi and Celine Dion, a really stunning song. As i was walking down the aisle i could see that Dh wanted to burst into tears, which made me all teary eyed. When i got to him he said "you literally took my breath away".

The ceromony was beautiful, but K nearly run into the pool, my mom caught him in the nick of time. unfortuntely she missed the first 10 min but then dh dad took over watching K who just wanted to climb the steps lol. after saying our vows we had a celebratory drink - champagne, orange juice with crushed strawberries.

After our drink, we went for pics which was staxs of fun.

the reception was also beautiful and had so much fun cutting the cake, first dance etc. The food was also divine

Unfortuntely alot of trouble happened. firstly my mom and i had a blow out during the reception, she was running after her bf who was sulking for whatever reason. then i went to fetch my cell from her which at this point she was in room with K and i asked her is K sleeping on bed by himself and she said yes and then i said okay will just keep an eye on him incase he rolls to much and falls off, she then went to sleep with him saying i told her to do so, which i did not. Her bf then confronted dh saying why he wasnt booked into the room with my mom, so df explained nicely to him why and then he started saying all these aggresive things. I was so pissed off!!!!! He then told my aunt that my mom was doing me a favour and she shouldnt have to do it on my terms etc, then he left.

I saw my mom the next morning who hardly spoke to me and up to today still has not spoken to me, i am so upset with her for being so selfish to me on my wedding day!!!!!

Even after all of that we had a lovely special day which i will never forget!! everything was so romantic and beautiful.

Lisha glad shrey is on the mend.
