Morning ladies

Hate being stuck in early morning traffic, more especially when it's a scorching hot day already!!! We had a decent night and Shrey seems to be on the mend but seems like his nose & cough starts acting up again if we put the aircon on in the room at night going to have to battle with the heat till he's 100%.

Jessica congrat!!! Bryce is going to be so excited that he's getting his boetie.

Julz fever gone now? Hope you're feeling better this morning. I like jungle as well.

Helen enjoy your scan, hope u get a nice pic for us. Good luck with Oliver and new bed.

Re our fast, Shrey is still eating meat, well he's not eating much these days but we won't make him abstain from meat, fish & eggs.
Julz we do eat beans & lentils but there are so many other yummy veggies that you have such variety. It's amazing what we curry lol. The only thing I don't want to see too much of is soya, totally off it for some reason!!!

Not much to report....
Being pampered by my mom this week. (she is staying with us to look after Iris, as the day mother took leave for the week). Mom made dinner last night so I got to do some work. Iris also sleeps with her so mommy & daddy can have their room to themselves for a while

So shoo, the blog awards seem to be FULL of drama. Especially on Twitter. People are accusing others of not being who they say they are, not having the proper creditation for their blogs etc. So much drama! One of the biggest finalists have actually pulled out because of all the drama and the team aren't too organised either. Eish!! And I'm not going. The flights are just too expensive. Even Kulula is going to cost me R3000 so I'd rather not. And then I go and I don't win? Then I've wasted so much money.

Congrats Jessica. A brother for Bryce. Awesome.

Went to the doc. I had no idea that more than 37 ish was considered a fever and that 38.5 was considered a high fever for adults. Anyway it is probably just Dylans bug so I have antibiotics and she gave me a voltaren shot to bring down the fever. She has tested me for malaria just to be safe, but we are pretty sure it is just flu.

Feel much better tonight.

As for the mosquitos, my doc confirmed that I am allergic to the bites as I have scars all over now from this last trip to india. She says what she does for her young son is to buy an aqueous cream from cape union mart that contains citronella. She says it works really well so maybe give it a try Helen.

ladies I have a very ugly wall outside Dylan's bedroom window at the back of the house so I am going to paint a mural on it. Nobody would see it and I think Dylan would love it. I am just not sure to go with a sea theme or jungle theme. Any Ideas?

Simone - Lol at Addy and the worm hehe, these kids can be funny about certain things. Oliver couldn't care less how dirty and black his hands get but let them get sticky and he has a complete kadenza!

I'm feeling loads better, have a scan tomorrow so I think I'm going to ask if there's anything I can take to boost my energy levels, I doubt it though as I guess its just part and parcel with this stage of the pregnancy, I just had loads more energy when I was pregnant with Oliver so would really like some kind of boost...

Really looking forward to the long weekend, we went and picked Oliver's bed over the weekend so I'm going to move him into it on Friday, we're also going to finish up decorating his room as I've been gradually getting the stuff together to make it a little boys room rather than a baby room so hopefully it'll all come together. I think the only thing I still want to look at getting is a mosquito net for the bed, the poor little mite gets eaten so badly I think he's going to need one.

Anyways, time for Survivor so that's me over and out...hopefully I'll get a nice pic of baby tomorrow but I doubt it now, its probably way too big
