Vix so nice to hear an update from you!! Congrats on the twins doing so well re:milestones!! K also enjoys Jake and the Netherland Pirates - i think that is such a cool theme and the dressing up is awesome. I hope that you will be able to get at least some alone/relaxtion time when they boys go to creche for the 2 days.

Pfairy wow, i can imagaine how overwhealmed you must be. Sorry about your dog - never easy. xxxx Congrats on the award - how exciting.

Julz is N still not convinced after the 2nd opionion or havent you been for it yey? I hope he comes around soon. Surly he can see how uncomfortable/restless D is at night?

Afm - ours was nice didnt do much Sat night we had a braai but i was so tired as K woke up 05:30 that morning and when straight through to 18:30 with no nap - he just wanted to play. Sunday we went grocery shopping so cuboards are stocked up now. We went to Game as i wanted to get those belts you wrap around your stomach/thighs and it vibrates - helps with toning muscles, anyway we walk past and K starts pointing at a skateboard asking so nicely if he can have it - I never imagined my boy wanting a skateboard so young?? All he does is sit on it and goes up and down the driveway - im getting gray hairs already at the thought of him wanting to stand on it.

Otherwise nothing else to report on, busy week plus i have a conference i have to attend for 4 hours tomorrow.

Oh I meant to say re: seminar I loved how they encourage natural birth and breastfeeding...seeing as only 25% of kids between 2m and 5m are being breastfed...scary statistic! I think a lot of ladies think 'oh well c-section and bottles' (no judgement intended here) and yesterday they heard that there are other alternatives.

Had a nice weekend. Attended baby sense seminar yesterday. Goodie bags were quite nice. Nuk bottle, full set of j&j toiletries, that stuff for milk production, iron supplements, vitamins, etc. I bought a ticket for a friend of mine and she won a high chair:( yay for her...nay for me! Lol. There were so many prizes and I won nothing...oh well!

Having a lazy day. Bought pizza for lunch...but so not in the mood for it!! Just had tea and madeira cake...much better than pizza!

I've been trying to catch up for days agin but the boys have been very demanding recently.

Nelly- Elwyn has a tattoo of a "panther' on his shoulder but I swear it looks more like a tiger, he hates whenI say that though lol. So maybe it was him.

Simone- have a look in PnP or Checkers for the little cars. I was picking up those diecast ones for anything from R3 each up to R10 each. Actually for boys cheap toys ingeneral have a look at PnP hyper, I had a real good look at their toy section and I picked up fairly large friction cars for R10 each, perfect for cheap rewards for C, or like when the tweenies get pressies.

Julz- hope N comes around soon.

PFairy- I was actually telling DH about Mia's Kitchen last night. Want to do one for the boys one day too. It was one thing I really wanted as a child.

Mandy- my only advice to you is to take each day as it comes and if you and your specialist are happy to deliver baba early for safety reasons then that's all that matters. Don't worry what anyone else says, one will only truly understand those thoughts when it affects them personally.

Nicole- sorry things are a little/lot stressful for you at the moment xxxxxx

The tweenies are both sitting now, Alex can get himself into the crawling position but is only really going backwards. But they are only 9m on tuesday and C didn't even crawl until 9m. Alex isn't really doing things too behind the rate that C did which for. 34w baby I think he's doing amaing. Jono is still a bit slower but he was the smaller one from the begining so not pushing him, he'll do things when he's ready.

I am sending them into creche 2 days a week from now, mainly so I can do my housework and run the errands I need to do.

C is growing up so fast! Still having a few issues with him only wanting daddy and not always acceptinng me but I have been chatting to a psychologist friend of mine and she's been giving me some tips. They seem to be helping.

Been going through a bit of an emotional head **** lately, the boys have been constly sick, well one of them then the next then the next.... C was being really horrible at one stage especially after DH took him to hospital that day..... Then I'm getting a ton of flack from all sides of the family for forgetting birthdays. I don't think any one of them can understand that I really have no concept of time these days. They just think I'm being thoughtless.

C's birthday is more than likely going to be Jake and the neverland pirates. I'm not going too crazy but we'll have a treasure hunt and I'm thinking about making little pirate outfits for all the kids so they all feel special. I think dress up at this age is fun! But I'm not really inviting many kids because it's going to be here at home. But we'll invite kids who's parents we are friends with too so we can sit and enjoy it too with some borewors rolls.

Thanks so much Pfairly. Wish neil would understand but still not. I am so mad at him today. I got in my car and drove till I nearly had no petrol.

P fairly it must be quite hard to leave SA. Especially the dogs. Very emotional to say the least. Exciting at the same time too I guess. Congrats on the award. How truly special, a kruger rand to keep. Wow they are worth quite alot now!

Julz, Mia also had the 3 things done during her operation and it really was one of the best things for her. apart from her speech improving a lot, no more snoring and no no no more sickness. so glad I did it for her. the third day after the operation was the "worst".

Just have to comment after Nelria’s post yesterday. Thanks Nelria!!!! But as Simone said, we are going to take it with us to Oz. But I must say, it is one of the greatest gifts for Mia (and Xander). They play with it everyday. This morning Mia made breakfast in her kitchen for us. With “coffee”. It is at the moment in our kitchen, and if we cook, she cooks. The “how to” is on my blog. It was a easy project and one can make it to your own taste/budget, etc.
I must admit... I am not a person that stress. But hey, I stress permanently now. It’s been a hectic few week and I think it’s going to be a hectic few weeks from now. A month from tomorrow is the date we say good-bye to south Africa.
There’s been a few ups and downs the past weeks. We have to say to bye to the dogs. That is alone is a huge thing for me. The one dog was put to sleep in Tuesday. Hubby just phoned me and tell me. He was alone and tried to break into the house and hurt himself badly. I gave me resignation last week. That was also very emotional. But the company just says that in any day we want to come back, they will always take us back.
And the ups... me and hubby went away last weekend. I really needed that. I mostly sleep and read books. Spend too much money in the bookshops.
And I won a real springbok jersey. And on Thursday I’ve received a Kruger Rand from my word at the achiever award. That was so emotional. Debra Patta (from 3rd degree) spoke about the reasons why South Africa is a great country. I was mostly in tears and then the award. I was so surprised.
