Julz so sorry about all this and of course u deserve to rant away my friend! I am glad u have some answers though.

My scan was fantastic! Baby measuring a bit bigger and weighing 494gms. Doc refused to guess sex:( but this is gp so not her speciality but I did again see those boy parts gynae showed us before so I'm pretty sure this is a boy. He had hands next to face...was soo cute! Very active. Baby lying breech though for now and placenta hasn't moved. So still no idea what birth plan will be. Due date around 28th dec-1jan. If c-section I'm quite torn as to when to have it. I personally would prefer to wait til baby due but I am not sure if placenta doesn't move and I go into labour what the implications are? Otherwise 39weeks...which is on my birthday about! Hate this choosing date stuff!!! But we'll see how it goes closer to the end:) and obviously what new gynae says.

I know you would avoid the removal of such at all costs.. but i also know you will always do what is right for Dylan.

Just so you know, I went for a second opionion by sending the xray to the paed and then going to see the paed for a chat.. Dylan hasnt been in for any ops that i can remember so its a whole different stress when you have to watch them go "under" but our op went VERY smoothly as you know and Cameron actually walked out of the hospital with his teddy and his coke in hand

Hey Gals

So PINK BEAN is 400g and 15cm from head to bum all looking good and definately a girl, with the amnio the genetic testing shows XX choromosomes .

Im 20 weeks and due date is 5 Jan. Doc says that usually once a first pregnancy displays high blood pressure , it almost ALWAYS happens again and my blood pressure was high yesterday at the appointment. I told the doc, I am still anxious when i come to him as there have been all sorts of pregnancy issues - higher insulin levels, higher blood pressure and then amnio etc, so I am testing in between appointments and its certainly not that high when i am not there!! still he says regardless of now, I am likely to display these signs closer to the end..

He recommended that since high blood pressure can cause stroke on mom and distress with baby, that we just take it day by day when it comes to figuring out the birth date and plan.. The latest he proposes is the 22nd Dec for a caesarian ( 38 weeks), which i think i am inclined to settle on. but he has warned that he thinks this baby will visit me a little earlier. He has me on blood thiners to avoid preclamsia but will take me off them at 34 weeks as its not good to have thin blood when baby arrives as thinned blood can cause extra bleed at birth..

FUN FUN FUN gals - its funny but all this is a breeze now.. im not worried, when its her time and mine, it will all unfold the way its meant to be. All i can do now is concentrate on my health, exercize, and diet and enjoy this pregnancy since Ive always wanted 2 kids and its most likely my last..

Julz - let us know how Dylans blood tests go, thinking of you guys, oohhh for those of us who have had blood taken from our kids, you will know its HORRIBLE!! and your child looks up at you with BIG EYES and "HATES" you... shame man!

Simone - i miss you!! not sure why we arent chatting as much as we were but anyway I MISS our chats!
