aaaaww Simone and Ally thanks for sharing your special moments love to hear about things like that :)

We are also more doing it for the "tradition" and also becomes it will increase the anticipation and emotions on the wedding day.

Df will have supper with his folks and then I will have the two ladies with me so will have wine, snack etc and just chat etc. From the hairdresser I will go to the hotel we we getting married and get dressed there, my brother will arrive at about 14:00 to take some photos of getting ready etc, then will meet my husband to be at the alter at 15:00. I cant wait.

Okay a another wedding question (im sure im driving you ladies crazy with all my wedding talk etc) but what was the most memorable moment at your wedding?

The naughty corner is definatly working for us. Iv made a corner in the kitchen the area as theres not toys, no tv etc. I make him sit there count to 10 then go to him and he lifts up his arms for me to pick him up and then he gives me big hugs and kisses. :)

You will miss df but make it a fun night...I had 3 bridesmaids (1 was my sister) so they gave each other facials, drank champagne, snacks, etc. It was a really fun night.

Nicole hubby and I didnt live together so we did spend the night apart.

but I would like to share...we decided we would not see each other for 2 days before the wedding at least...which broke my heart!

So day before the wedding I am driving to Makro for champagne...heaven alone knows why I decide to drive a route I NEVER drive...and who do i see on the side of the road pushing a stranger's car? MY HUSBAND TO BE!

So i step on the petrol to speed out of there and we both turn away so we dont look at each other.lol. I did call him and he was in the area to pay the caterer and somebody ran out of petrol so he was pushing them to the petrol station.

Then the next morning...day of the wedding...I am called because our fairy lights are apparently not working. So I had to go to the hall to check it out...and there at a 4 way stop street is my husband to be...he this time speeds off so fast and again we are trying to pretend we didnt see each other!

Apparently the barman called him for something at the hall and he was just coming from there.

So that was quite funny.

Its all superstitious nonsense...but i do think it adds to an intrigue for the day;-)

Thanx Nicole. Most of it is done now. :)

C and I did spend the night apart before our wedding. I spent it at home with my cousin (maid of honor) and he went to his best friend. My cousin and I watched wedding movies and him and a bunch of his friends went for an early dinner. I hated it coz I missed him so much but it was actually nice coz when I saw him I was so excited and emotional I cried all the way down the aisle lol. We didn't see each other at all before the wedding, I peeked out my bathroom window though to see him. The bridal suite is just downwards from the honeymoon suite where C got dressed so I got to see him in his suit before the ceremony hehehe. Oh Nicole, I'm so jealous! I just want to get married again. It was the most amazing magical day for us and I wish I could do it over and over and over. :)

Julz the 5 languages of love sounds really interesting, its amazing how different two people can be? Would be interesting for DF and I to take.

Vix, i know i cant belive its only 3 weeks to go! EEEk, very excited though. It sounds like the night before the wedding DF and I will sleep in different places like tradition? I don't know if i want to do it, going to miss him loads....but my mom and my maid of honour will come and sleep by our place so i thought once K had gone to sleep for the night, the 3 ladies can maybe have some wine and chat and try to keep me calm for the next day lol! Df will spend the night with his folks, then he will only see me for a few minutes before I go for my hair to pick up K cause he will watch him and try get him to have a nap whilst I am at the hairdresser for 2 hours, then DF dad will drop K at the hotel with me.

Did you ladies spend the night apart before your weddings?

Ally you sound prepared and organised, enjoy all the prepping :)

Simone well done on being so good with the diet!! You really seem more motivated and determined.

Just quickly popping in to saY CONGRATS LELANI!! :) So happy for you. I was in a girls' only school and I can tell you, it's going to be so good for her! :)

So done with all the shopping. Need to start prepping now. 24 cupcakes, 15 crostini's, chicken breast to grill, vegetables to roast and that's it. Then I just need to pack everything tomorrow and off I go. :) The stand is very nice and right next to the main stage so I think it's going to be good exposure.

Vix, I didn't have anything printed because I'm working for Sanlam in this, not for myself. But I'm wearing Simply Delicious Aprons with my website on it, hopefully that will help people.

Ok let me go start. Need to shower and straighten my hair afterwards. I need to look super good, the girl doing make-up demo's is GORGEOUS and has worked on movies like Invictus etc. hehehe
