Hellllllo ladies

Okay read all the posts but not sure I can comment on all of them.

Wow you have been busy.

FIRSTLY DETTOL TEST

It's a lot of nonsense. We did it on the ttc forum and had lots of fun, but basically Neil got a positive test as did I. Something about a film that floats. It's fun though and we even named our cocktails. Mine was long island iced pee.

Angelique what a cutie of a dog. My friend also has one and calls hers Frodo!!!!

Okay and I am a daycare mom. Love it as does Dylan. He tries to escape from home weekends, but I do understand why moms keep their kids at home. It's all about personal choice. I was just worried that as a working mom with no backup, a nanny would be a problem were she to be sick etc. No hassles with this type of thing at daycare.

Lisha so pleased Shrey is doing so well in his bed.

Okay so been so busy and won't be completely done by tomorrow but my boss has been so bitchy I actually do not care now. Tomorrow is going to be a tough day and my stomach is giving me so much up hill from stress. Not nice. I hate these situations. I feel as if I have done something wrong by resigning. The new bk is very competent and will do well, but I don't think she is going to gel as she is very rigid and our bosses are so not business people. She is going to try to implement some protocols and they are going to fight her. Not my problem.

Dylan is still struggling at night so I gave in and gave him some nurofen (sp) as my doc thought it may be teething. He did seem a bit better last night but still returned to us at 1, but more restful. He seems to be coughing less now.

My ticket is booked and visa arranged so really exciting times ahead.

What else?

Okay Vix I must check your thread to see who is having twins!!!! Wow your month thread is turning into a multiples support group.

Simone how are you???

Nelria feeling better yet?

Leigh let me just get through next week and then we must chat about our walking!

Brain meds must sill kick in. they can put me on a drip if it doesn't work soon enough. Contemplating doing it as I can't believe I am so foggy.

Hugs to the rest of you.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Ang I have no idea about the dettol test but also very curious ... I think Vix & Nelria will know more, although Nicole's explanation makes sense ... let us know how it goes!

Christi good luck with potty training ... Shrey is only sitting on toilet now ... still not one poo or pee in toilet yet.

Simone done with the sideline job yet?
Lol maybe we should put it under household insurance ;) With our domestic we should insure every little thing ... with her & Shrey Buzz doesn't stand a chance lmao...

Ally good luck with the beds ... sounds cute.

Hello Ladies

Hope that you all are doing well. I’ve been reading all the replies, but could not comment. And with our internet connection at work GGGRRRRR!!!

Vix I had a good laugh at C and the loo. When I go to the loo E keep on flushing the toilet…

Yoza thanks for asking about me. Glad it is going well with Siba’s progress. Had a chuckle at your dh standing and sleep.. Men will always be just men… Wish I can be so disciplined as you with the diet. Guess I will never be “slender” again.

Simone as frt he crèche vs nanny I would have also given that women a piece of my mind. We are sending E to daycare next year, but only have day!! Addy is cute, how is the hand?

Angelique your dog is very cute!! We are only getting a dog in maybe 3yrs time – we have to get E tested again for allergies – he’s allergic to cat and dog hair and very allergic for dust mites!! What if the dettol test show that you are preggies??? ;)

Lisha you are really making progress. I must also start but is VERY lazy!! Don’t know how I’m going to get him off the boob!! In the morning when we have to leave for work then E want to drink, very manipulative – I don’t give into to this!! Enjoy the spending girl!!

Nicole – min dae. Did you finish the vows?

Mandy hope you and DH has come to a solution with the family. Can’t your mom sleep with C in the room?

Sjoe can’t remember anything now.

AFM we are doing well, I’m feeling much better. I’m busy helping out on a project so don’t get much time for moomie. E is doing well; he is just growing so fast!! He is 89cm already and 14kg and wants to dress himself. Can’t believe that he is going to be BIG one of these days. At the moment he is into Happy Feet and Cars, he doesn’t want to watch toy story… The other night I heard hubby fighting with him to keep his shoes on, and then I heard hubby laughing. Apparently E wants Mumble to have his shoes – was pointing to the screens saying “Mumble dê” I thought that is was very cute!! This whole week E was awake at 04:30 and by 5 we are up and watching tv.

Ally still wanted to tell you that I've got 2 of my colleagues hooked on youre website. They still love to try the recipes - single men!! I often get to taste some of the food. Last week we made the same pasta to see who's tastes better lol...

Christi your bathroom looks really good!! Hope we get a bonus next year so that I can finish mine...

Ok, so we went from ' just looking' for beds to buying bunk beds, mattresses and bedding lol. We went to the place we always buy our beds and mattresses from (Ericson's) and saw that a toddler bed costs R1300, a single bed costs R450 and bunk beds cost R1100. The bunk beds come with safety rails already so that's a bonus. Then we got mattresses for R420 each and bedding from Mr P. Such cute bedding too. Aidan's has car's and trucks on it and Abi's is pink with butterflies and flowers. :) And they are just normal single beds so they can use these beds until they are 18. (which is what I did) Quite chuffed. Spent R2000 at Ericson's and R700 at Mr P so I'm quite depressed at my low bank account lol.

Anyway, regarding school etc. I would put the twins in school now if I could but I have no problem with keeping them with me until 3. I only went to nursery school at 3 because my mom was a SAHM and there is absolutely nothing wrong with my social skills/language development etc. I am the loudest, most social person in my friendship group and I can speak 2 languages 100% and know 3 additional languages partly. I think most people HAVE to put their children in school from young coz they have to work, and that's also fine. No one is in the wrong with this scenario. It really irritates me when people are SOO opinionated and they can't see other's point of view.

Making tamato stew tonight, never made it before so I'm quite excited. :)

Angie not to sure if i am correct and I think Nelria knows it properbly but what i understand was that you pour dettol into your urine and if you pregnant it has like a oily overlay to it and if your not it should be clear. However the dettol can also go oily if you are ovulating or close to it..... I think lol
