I explained a few things and my other boss said he would look at it and get back to me. He said he thought we could come to an agreement and was surprised when I said I didnt want it all as I am reasonable. I just want them to place the 10 days I took in jan against the previous year so that I can be paid out 11 days. He was surprised when I said this so clearly my female boss had not mentioned this to him. Anyway I will consult the ccma. I did go on line and it seems they should pay out but I was aware that my company may say use it or loose it and according to rmi they can withold the leave if you know it to be a company policy even if not in writting. However with no contract it usually end up being labour law that counts so will see.

I am so furious. A reader of my blog just notified me that someone posted my chicken livers in mushroom sauce recipe on Jamie Oliver's site, even using my photo! Can you believe it? I am so FURIOUS! I've notified them and reported the recipe! I wouldn't mind if they at least gave me some recognition on the page!

Okay so on a plus side, Neil and I were approached in town by Doctors without borders and have pledged some money each month. Nice to help others. then Neil bought himself aftershave. It is lovely Bvlgari and when we got to the till they gave me two 10ml bottles of the ladies Bvlgari. How awesome. Neil could have chosen 2 for himself but he said one bottle of fragrance is enough for him. I am so pleased he is willing to give it a go. He has always refused to wear any.

Oh ladies made a deal with Neil. Okay so tmi but must share. He has gained a fair amount of weight so I told him I would give him a bj (not my fav) for each 2kg he looses. He is doing really well.

Julz- that's terrible! Just for the way they treated you I would take them to the CCMA just out of spite, even if you're not concerned about the leave pay. I see they waited til your last day to tell you they won't pay, obviously because they knew you wouldn't have had to work your notice otherwise. How cruel to throw someone's illnesses and surgeries at them. If they still turned round to me and said they will miss me I will up front tell them to F*** O** how flippin disgusting! Grrrr my blood is boiling, that company can be glad this preggy fairy lives far far away cos I would be on the war path! My friend I wish I could hug you so tight right now! Xxxxxxxxx

Julz - sorry for your bad situation at ex-company... sometimes a company only realise what they have in you as soon as they lose you!
