Ankia- i have emailed you, perhaps you can give me some more pointers on what does and doesn't work for you with cloth nappies

I want to try and make them more affordable than the brand cloth nappies we get in this country, over R100 per nappy is just ridiculous to me. That's why i don't use them

Ankia and Simone- I just want to go over my fabric options for the waterproof outer, then you gals can maybe test some out for me, i want HONEST feedback tough.

Re cloth nappies, I think it's an awesome idea ... not sure if I'll ever use it because it just isn't as convenient but I think due to environmental issues more and more people are turning to cloth nappies. I did buy a pack of them to put over those icy cold changing mats when Shrey was born.

Not much to report from my side. Could spend the whole day complaining about how bratty Shreyan is these last couple days. He cries for EVERYTHING!!! And worse is hubby gives into everything because he just wants the crying to stop.
Going to use hubby being at action cricket this evening to make a few changes ... Will stick to whatever even if he screams the roof down ... just need to lock mum in her room too cos she is worse than dh.

Ankia I have reserves.lol. So to lose weight while I can is good! Only half way to no illusion I'll keep it up another 20w.

Ankia what are your experiences with cloth nappies? How much does one need? How do u wash them (please say washing machine!) And which are the better brands?

Cloth nappies is an awesome idea! I'm going cloth nappy route this time (but using disposables for newborn for first 2-4w) so trying to research all the brands now. Its a great idea and reading about disposables and how bad they are for our planet...I'm really hoping the cloth nappies work out!
