aggggg I'm so gutted! almost every time i try to post from my BB over the past few months it goes missing and so be it it's not the end of the world but i sat up @ 2am the other day typing a whole run down of everyone at the baby shower and i come on now to see it's missing, man it's really freakin frustraiting grrrrr

So i don't have time to reply at all it's past 10pm and i really have to go to bed.

Will try and find time again soon!

Hello GAUTENG Gals

I was thinking that we should start planning a joint birthday party for our THREE year olds - possibly sometime before their birthdays

For a suggestion - I have gone to the Mini steam trains before, its really so much fun and the kids LOVE IT.. its cheap and you take your own food and drink and its pretty safe with the retired old folks running the show!

I have copied the info about it with different date options ... as per all their dates on sundays only.

Its a bring your own picnic and blanket place and has a little coffee shop and lots of big trees to sit under, you pay R5 per kiddie but adults dont pay each ride takes about 10 minutes and they have up to 3 trains running at the same time

Lisha good luck with preparing the cake etc for Shreys party, im sure it will look brillant, you did such a fantastic job on his invitation last year. We are also having a small party just the family, the kiddies etc. K's birthday falls on a Friday so will send a cake to his class and then have his party on the Sat.

Yoza im so glad the Siba is progressing so well! Well done to the clever boy!!! Yay for Buhle being better!

afm, all is well. K and puppy had some playtime together and this morning so definatly improvement - YAY. puppy is to cute for words but very energetic. But the minute we put the lights off in the room/lounge she falls asleep - very cute.

need to run to spar to get rolls & lettuce for chicken burgers and chips tonight. Feel like i am making the same food over and over these days - I have all these brillant cook books but no inspiration/no time.

Yes getting excited for my boy's birthday. Can't believe he is almost 3 years old!!! Not doing an elaborate party for him this year. Just want to keep it simple. Even trying to bake & decorate the cake myself ... a bit crazy I know but have some cute but simple ideas in mind. Oh and we absolutely love the Pillsbury moist chocolate cake premix so will use that.

Otherwise not much else to report. Shrey is well, he's with mil today and had breakfast with the kid from next door. Apparently he ate his porridge without a complaint so mil's conclusion is he needs 'company' ... my response 'yes he needs to go to school'
I have Saturday appointment with chiro which I will not miss it for anything less than urgent!!!

I have to go do the last minute shopping and then start packing. I am so excited about this weekend away. I really feel like I just need to get out of the city to clear my head. There's nothing like the crisp and clear air of the bush to allow you that and I'm so excited for the night's spent around the boma fire. I won't be able to log in so I'll catch up with all of you next monday!
