AFM: Buhle has a cold and has a tight chest. I have slowly introduced the diet Buhle is on rice milk after a day of fighting siba hates it he rather not drink. Hoping I get to master this diet.I slip up so much but im learning.

Vix, the cloth nappies sound like a very good idea. If you are up for some clothes making, I'd love to have 1/2 maxi-dresses made in November/December. Just that very simple cut that you get in most shops, I just can't buy from shops cause I'm too tall, they always hit above my ankle and it looks gross. I actually have a dress with the cut I want, it's just too short.

Vix cloth nappies sounds like a super idea to add to your range.....I just dont know how you do it all? Look after between 2-3 kids at a time and still have the time/energy to design new products- super women i tell ya!!!!

Vix - cloth nappies sound fab! Another suggestion is that every mom wants to buy at least one pack of "spoke doeke" cant remember the english term, "spew rags" so I bought plain white cloth nappies but it would nice to have a set of long ones for over the shoulder and bigger ones for over nappy changing stasions as lisha says that possibly all have a border or act as a set.. I would buy a pack of those as a gift for a shower for example..

so they sold the car i was supposed to buy yesterday and then they ran around finding me a similar one, its landed up more expensive, but has less miliage, is a slightly better model and is silver, nicer colour, so im taking it anyway!!!!!!!

they're much cheaper in the UK here's an example the Large bambino mio starter kit in the UK is aabout R600 here in baby city the small was R1000 if I'm remembering what i saw correctly yesterday.

Lisha the pre folded cloth nappies are quite cute and not as much work as nappies from the old days. I plan to use disposables when out, etc, but hoping long term, it makes some sort of difference as more moms seem to be heading in this direction.

Vix yes some well over R100 per nappy! I found a brand available in PE for R2000 for the set of about 16 nappies I think? Can't remember brand though. But who wants to spend R2000 (and this is cheapest I've found) and the nappies leak and cause rashes? Alternative is R300 for 2 test nappies!!!!! I know Riaan and Michelle (I'm not fans of theirs at all!)are green couple but they said the cloth nappies they tried didn't work...interested to know which brand it was.

Vix - I will give you a honest opinion, I used them for W, and like you know I want to use them with A as well.

Simone, I got the mother nature nappies and I wash them by washing mashine. I got the full package, I think it is 20 - 22 nappies, have to go them out. in the beginning (from about 2 weeks) i used them day and night, so when i feed I will change baby as well, then I used about 8 - 10 a day, but then at about 6 months, I started using disposables at night, so then i would use about 4 - 5 a day.
so in the beginning, i used to wash every second day, and then later only every 3 - 4 days.

I used normal sunlight baby washing powder, you do not use sta-soft, and I sued to tumble dry mine in the winter, but baking them in the sun is very good for them.

When you have a wee nappy, just throw it in the bin and when you have a poo nappy, throw all the stuff in the loo and then throw it in the nappy bin. There is no smell and you can put about 3 to 4 drops of tea tree in the bin, if you want to.

Lisha, I am doing great, just want to stop working now, I've got about 5 weeks left to work, but luckily it is not to busy in the office, so that is great
