Leigh- your eldest is wise and you know kids always speak the truth!

I was showing my DH your FB site last week and he was stunned especially when I told him how little you charge so I was just telling him about the toy story figures and his jaw dropped, he said you should be selling them for R100 easily! He can't believe you're selling these things so cheap and he agreed with me, it'll be worth the move to CT to set up a re seller business selling your toppers at market value LOL and that's coming from a man!

Oh and being a good christian does not mean loosing out on well earned money because someone else makes you feel like a pile of c***

Leigh Charlene is too cute (we share the same birthdate by the way so I guess that makes me cute too). I sent you a PM, so please have a look when you have a moment.

Time for me to go home. I miss my little man so much.

Forget to tell you ladies that DH and I had such a laugh this morning. Cole was jumping around on our bed and suddenly he gives off a loud fart, and then immediately he says..OH sies! It was just too cute for words!

Charlene is a clever girl :)
Leigh any legal contract will stipulate that risk passes on to the customer as soon as delivery occurs. If the customer chose the Post Office as the means of transport then as soon as you delivered the goods to the post office the risk passed from you to her - in this instance the Post Office acted as her agent.
You have no legal or moral obligation to this customer as she was fully aware of what the risks were in not waiting for the icing to set properly and furthermore using an organisation as 'reliable' as our SA Post Office for delivery of such delicate materials. In order for you to become a successful business woman you're going to have to put the nagging bad feelings at the back of your mind, pick yourself up and continue with your lovely work.

Okay I think I shouted at you enough now ;) ;) ;) But I do hope you feel better by tonight and accept that these things do happen and that really wasn't your fault so please don't beat yourself up over it xxx

Leigh I understand you feeling down and you have a right to feel bad about other things, but you have no right to feel bad about someone elses mistake which it was. Christian or no christian you did your work!

Sweet of Charlene.

You have to laugh at this....

I go and fetch my two eldest. And I tell them mummy was very upset today, that mummys stuff arrived in one big ball. OH NO gasps Charlene. Well she says, silly lady - who would put a cake in the post its her own fault.

I should have phoned her before I cried, she'd have talked some sense into me.

And yes, mum said the same thing - she lives too far away to bang on my door. Still, as breadline as I am, I'm still a christian and I still feel bad. Think I should poke my other eye out now....

The disappointing thing also is that in my facebook I said I felt like Jonah in a whale....and I was just managing to get to its tongue to get out....and now I feel bad again. I'm hanging onto its hanging dingaling at the back of its throat for dear life.

Bothasig, Cape Town
Mum of 3 girls - Charlene(6) 09/11, Renee (5) 10/04 and Erin (2 and 9 mnths) 16/11.
Moved back from the UK 2.5 years ago. Missing my friends. Full time job - Mum. Part time cake baker and decorator - love it.
