Leigh- I'm only going to echo everyone elses comments, and I agree I think she ordered from you because it was cheaper than the quote she got from PE. Sorry but if you warned her she would get nothing back from me not even just the profit I made, especially with you because I can just imagine how cheap you were! No ways. And yes a bit odd that she is going to 'copy' them but needs 5 of each? I wonder if she was going to sell them on at market price and make lekker profit!

R90 for 3 huge cake toppers? Nothing my friend seriously but R30 is just not worth your time if you can't charge R90 for the set then at least charge R60! I bet this PE woman was going to sell them on at R30 each or something like that, sjoe, if I lived in CT I would make a packet out of you LOL

Julz- I'm also business minded and that's why I don't give people the option of insurance, it's worked into the price so I can trace the parcel and KNOW that it was signed for and received.

Nelria- I can make them over the weekend, I just don't want to wait a whole extra week before we do coffee!

You can get baking paper from PNP. ITs in a brown box, normally based where the baking stuff is.

Its almost funny, you guys are all saying the same things except for the buying in PE bit.

I also asked her why she wanted 5. I also don't understand why there isn't anyone in PE.

Sadly this is what they looked like when I sent them. One thing that confuses me is that she's not sending me a photo of the whole box, only the bundled ones in her hand.

Mum also said it was her risk and she should have known the icing as she was going to make her own. She also said like I said - that I could have sent her pictures....because I copied them from pictures.

Vix lol re biscuits! where does one find 'baking paper'? I've made biscotti and needed baking paper...i thought baking paper = wax paper/lunch wrap! Apparently not after I had to tear the paper off afterwards! Lol. So seriously what's the difference? I've looked at spar and only found normal lunch wrap paper.

How many of each kind of topper did you make? Because if she only wanted them to copy, would she not just have ordered one or 2 of each?

Leigh if u told her it was risky...u should refund nothing! Some of it seems salvageable!

She decided to courier it...she should have insured it...

In future add a clause on your invoices that posting anything is at client's own risk.

Why did she order from CT? Nobody in PE that does it?
