Leigh the silly people should have known they are taking a chance with getting it couriered ... if you refund anything you should still hold back money for your time as well ... how did they expect it to get to them???

Re Shrey's bday cake, it was quiet a big cake and it was eggless (which is very difficult to get someone to do with fancy toppers etc in Dbn) so we didn't mind the splurge. And my point was that you are under charging for your stuff!

Leigh you warned her about posting it. I wouldn't refund her to be honest. She chose to courier it even though you told her it was risky. Sorry I am very business minded and although the customer is important they are not always right. She obviously has orders to go out and is now in trouble. Not your problem.

She should have insured it with the courier and should claim it back from the courier.

Shame leigh and I know how worried you were about it. They looked so good.

oh did she send you a picture of the damaged products?? Did she sign that the goods were recived in good order???

Wow Lisha, I would probably have charged no more than R400 for that. Its a great cake.

I am so upset, sitting here with red eyes. I had an order of cupcake toppers that had to go to PE urgently - it got sent via courier by request of customer. The order arrived there in one big lump. I'm so upset. I didn't want to send it that way and so early because I knew the icing would be still so soft, but she wanted it urgently. Anyway she wanted her money back but I told her I wasn't paying for the postage. 7 hours of work down the drain.

The Toy story characters are for the top of a cake. (Leigh doesn't have the guts to ask R90).

Anyway so now I have the mum of the person who orderd the stuff phoning me. As if I don't feel bad enough as it is. 7 hours of work down the drain.

Vix - I would definetely also go for the one with the bassinets...

Julz, thats terrible - I think it's important that kids know where the boundries are and that there are actually boundaries, I believe if kids can get and do everything they please one day they will get bored, and try or experiment with the bad and ugly things in life...

I hate coke, not because its bad or anything, just because I hate the taste and I get bloated.

Cj had one sip of cream soda when he was 13 months, he hated it, and spat it all out. We don't have fizzy drinks in our house at all.

DH drink litres and litres of water a day, we have a water purifier in the kitchen and his glass is always there when he walks past, he pours the glass full and drinks it, CJ now also goes to the cupboard gets his toy story cup and gives it to DH to fill as well.

Cj drink milk, water and juice - I must say he does like juice and drinks a sippy cup a day - it's either Junior Juice, Tropika or Kiddies Oros - do you think that is too much sugar???

With regards to sweets, Cj likes sweets but does not ask for it really, on weekends we would usually have something sweet or rusks with coffee, then he will also have some. If he does see the sweets during the week and asks me for one, I give it to him.

He loves coffee, but only drinks one 125ml on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with us when we all lie in a bit later... I don't make it strong and jst put half a teaspoon of sugar in it!

Leigh those Toy Story characters are stunnning, CJ would freak out if I gave him a cake like that, wish you were close by... and you should definetely ask R 30.00 each.
