Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

I had an Ann Summers party quite a few years back and I baked my own birthday cake. It had a top and bottom - like a bikini. Anyway the cake was eaten and two breasts remained. There was quite a fight between hubby and neighbour over which one they were going to eat.

You'll all find this funny. I was placing the breasts last night and icing them when my cousin called. (The cake was for her). Anyway my cousin bats for the other side so I had to hurry her off the phone after telling her I was icing the breasts....funny.

Going off to a braai this afternoon, looking forward to it. Hoping to get some hubby time in this week, for some love patching. He's on the 7-3 shift this week. Home for dinner. Oh did I mention he has another interview on Monday.

Leigh- love the cake! I showed Elwyn just now and he said mmm that looks like his kinda cake LOL

We had a boys name and a girls name so now weed to find another boys name. We struggled to agree on the second boys name so the third is going to b ge.

Vix, have you got any names yet.....I have to admit I struggled in finding 3 girls names. The first one was my choice, the second was picked from a book randomly and the 3rd was a joint choice. A choice I had for a son was Christiaan, but that never happened, ha ha.

For those of you who can't see them on Facebook, here's the cake that took me up to 11pm last night....well including an hour chat with my aunt in New Zealand

Elwyn says that I must just not turn one of the boys into a moffie (sp) though LOL But I'm sure you're right, I'll probvably get a lot of respect and protection from my boys when they're big. I will be a MIL to 3 ladies one day which (as I can see from some of your experiences) might be hard but I will endevour to be one of those great MIL's like Zee's!

So I started packing out some of C's newborn clothes OMG you won't believe how little I survived with! Even at 3.2kg C was too small for his O-3 stuff so I went out and bout some new baby things for the first month, packing it out now I see there is 1 long baby grow, 3 short baby grows and 2 2 piece sets, man I must have been washing like every few days. I know they say don't buy too much small stuff but seriously! So, although I am hoping the twins will be as big as possible I don't believe for one min that they will be as big as C was so I'll need a good few more NB and maybe even some tiny baby growers. Sjoe, I'm not going to want to do the washing more than once a week with twins and a toddler, I'll look like wishy washy! But I found a few really cute (hardly worn) 'special' outfits like dungaree sets so at least having boys means this stuff with actually get some good wear. It's such a shame how the 'special' outfits only get worn once or twice.

It's actually really nice to know both sexes because now I really can look at my list and organize the babys stuff properly. My single pram and the carry cot are both blue so I can use those again for the first few months while they are both still small and can share it. (Man did anyone see how small big old 4.25kg Xen looked in his pram?) I'm sure I can get to 12w with them sharing the single I have because it's very wide and long.

Wow, this is actually great, I think even though it's boys I'm still super excited because now I can plan things. I can get on with making all the bits I need knowing I don't need pink.

Sorry, I'll shut up now! You guys must be sick of me going on about babies now! But I am nearly half way in reality because they will def be here before 38w because that is full term and of course Christmas!

Nelria- did you say the other day that Xen is still in his newborn clothes? I wonder up til when we moved over to 0-3m, you can be my size guide if you don't mind?

Vix, CONGRATS CONGRATS!!! 3 boys will definitely
keep you on your toes but it will also be so special.
You could be like one of those italian mama's who's sons absollutely dote over her all the time!

Going great here. Saw rhino, zebra and baboons yestartday. Also saw hyena tracks in our camp!!!

So I've decided that I will do catering but more like a niche market type of thing. Ill do cakes, pastries and petit dessers. I've already done the gourmet cupcake thing so I might aswell expand that. And since. I already have the simply delicious as a brand name, I'm just going to build on that and also call it simply delicious.
