Re: Co-sleeping, K only comes into our bed when he wakes up which is usually only around 03:00 so he only really sleeps with us for 3 hours, unless he is sick. so Df and I get enough time to do the naughty

afm: K really slept well, he only woke after 04:00 to come into the bed and then slept til 06:15! Last night df and I had a braai, nice sitting in front of the braai chatting over a glass of wine

Yoza how is your father this morning?

Leigh I lighten my whole head of hair with foils and it is always tangled. Horrid. I wash my hair in the shower then put conditioner on (ton) and do the rest of the shower stuff and then rinse. I must also get a nice treatment. I have a detangler from kair I think that I spray on and leave for a bit.

Zee sorry about your bad night. Lol about hubby wanting to take out insurance. Neil thought about it too but I bounce back each time.

Okay so last night I put a duvet under him too and made him really cosy. He still moaned at 11 and again at 1 but went back to sleep both times. Not too bad.

Also chatted to my therapist yesterday about the whole when is it right time. She has studied infant psychology too and she says we need to stop worrying about time as parents. Don't worry about the dummy or blankie. .It is positive for them to have these comforts while they adjust to becoming independent. Don't worry about the bottle or bed. Mostly just trust your kids instincts. They will let you know when the time is right. She feels that there is no hassle with you putting your child in your bed if they wake up crying during the night. They need comfort as you would were you to have a horrible dream. She did say it is good for them to go to bed on their own though at some stage. She feels that your child does need to respect your couple's space at some stage as you should respect your child's space. Again what works for you though.

Nayeela I didn't try the aloe yet. I am very nervous about trying the stuff straight of the tree so may just have a look in Dischem over the weekend for that or the oil the ladies at work told me about.

AFM I had a horrible night. We got home about 8pm from Nithia's uncles place. Shrey was already asleep so didn't have to stress about that. I just packed his stuff for today and went straight to shower and bed. The child was so restless all night He kept kicking duvet of and putting his feet in my face for me to rub his legs. I told him off a couple times and he fell asleep. I'm glad I don't have a clock in the room cos I would get more irritated if I could see how often he woke and for how long ... So the zombie face I was sporting since yesterday is looking a bit more dreadful today lol. Thank goodness for make up and bless the person that developed concealer to hide the dark rings around my eyes ... oh and ladies I guarantee the Mac stuff works like a bomb

re co-sleeping grrrrrrrrrrrrrr hate hate hate it even brett in my bed is some times too much for me LMAO if he dares snore or even breath hard he gets a stern thump in the back so a lo grunting, huffing and moving just doesnt do it for me - this morning at 5 i take xen in and feed so he doesnt go boack to sleep so i prop him on my arm spooning him and he falls asleep mmmmmmmm at 5.30 i gave up and sneaked off to rather play with lea as i am instantly awake if someone if i get uncomfortable

but that is me i general dont like massages, hate someone playing with my hair, dont like having back-scratched or even just stroking annoys me

i have a playdate tomorrow with 2 new mummies so it will be xen 5 wks, carli 4wks and shayne 1wk how cool is 3 such small baba's together

mmmmmmmmmmmmm oh nicole are u having wedding cake? my friend and i discussed it yesterday how expensive they are and actually wastefull as I have been to shitloads of weddings and only once ate cake and only due to it being served beforehand with the sherries

anyhoe she then showed me her cake and it was 3 layers of cheese - so those big round wedges of cheese with yellow backing stained brownish all over then decorated with grapes, strawberry's etc and it was also served as cheeseplatter beforehand with the sherries i thought that was super cool - also as she took the rest home grated and froze it for her day to day cooking - no waste

another cake i saw was 4 shelves of glass in a tower shape and on it was glasses of mouse in the colour of the wedding alternating and a tiny little square cake in same colours o top the top was then cut and each guest helped themselves to the mouse - as that doubled as desert

anyway just throwing some ideas out

Simone - Great to hear that your interview went well. I think its good that you could show them from the auditing perspective so they can see you can do the job. I never had any experience in the HIV sector and yet I got the job with Cell-Life. I had the same approach to you and showed them from the Business Analysis point of view that I could do the job. The field knowledge you can pick up as you work in the industry.

Leigh - We also have Vitality and I am hoping to also get some bucks back soon I have joined the gym as well and its been going well so far. Virgin Active has some nice classes that I attend. I hate the machines though so I just go for the classes.
