Mandy lol @ 'duck cakes'! These kids go wild if there's a whiff of junk food around and they have real food to eat. We wouldn't be able to get Addy to eat after that.

She actually ate quite badly today...didn't have much lunch. Refused supper.

oh Lisha...shame man! I'm sure after a few days of yucky nunies it'll get easier....but I'm sure emotionally hard on u both! That tart sounds yummy...u must send me recipe pls!

So I need to toss a coin now to decide who I'm backing tonight...I don't have a fave. Tho dh backing holland.

Guys I'm like queen of budget cooking now!lol. I have never cooked so little like today. I made pasta just with garlic, mushroom and greenpepper. no chicken and it was nice.i said to Gerard it sucks being at rock bottom but I've learnt how wasteful and extravagant we've been. I use a tray of mushrooms and a tub of cream for 3 meals! I kinda count how much rand is going into each meal. A new way of living. Hopefully one day when we have money again I'll be rich cause I'm cooking more economically!lol

We decided to make pancakes for dinner with cam - okay for mommy and daddy too.. but we decided to start with giving him chicken and veg so he ate a few spoons of that and we continue with the pancakes.. but the actual cooking takes too long so dad opens the ice cream and the caramel and cam just goes crazy eating the ice cream and dad feels too bad to take it away so i close the lid and say closed! so 2 minutes later the first pancake gets filled and cam is too full to taste it!! so mommy and daddy just ate them all while cam carried on playing!! aah well, he calls them duckcakes - cant seem to say pannnnncakesss!! Im sure he will eat them next time if we just save him some space!

Hi ladies

The tart was really nice. Used cream style sweetcorn, mealie meal, corriander, lots of a fresh herb that we call methi (not sure of english name) and some chilli etc. Very yummy. Now dh and the boys are braaing for supper.

So I made a huge move (well for me) today. Started weaning Shrey of breast. I just felt very frustrated this morning and went to kitchen, put applecider vinegar on nipples and let him drink. He tried to latch on 4 or 5 times and then claimed 'noo-nies yucky'. I feel very down but I know it's for the best for both of us. Hoping tonight won't be difficult. Oh and I haven't had the tablets to dry up yet but no engorgement etc so not stressing.

Aw Vix C holding penis to pee must have been so cute. Shrey wore underpants on top of his diaper this morning but we're very far off from potty training at the moment.

Simone lol at Addy saying bye to go to shop. She will be bigger shopperholic than u lol.

Feeding my nunu supper at the moment so got to run.

Vix C is such a big boy! Imagine holding his willy to wee wee! These kids are very observant and clever!

i saw celine's twins are boys...and I was thinking I'm sure she was hoping for one girl at least....so ya...i think we're all waiting in anticipation for the sex of tour twinnies!

You're right, we failed on 2 attempts to organise surprise baby showers hey? Terrible, to think so much planning and scheming goes into it and then the preggy fairy says 'oh no, can't do that date but have a meet without me...' Maybe they knew so thought they'd tease us!

Mandy- actually, I must admit, most of what is on my list are things I need to pull finger and make and consumables. I'll have another look at it and see if there is anything I will benefit from borrowing thanks. Nelria seems to have come to my rescue a whole lot because Xen will be that much older than the twins that when he's finished with them the twins will just about be needing them. Well timed!

I can imagine how hard it must be to try and tell children someone close has passed away.

C refused to have his nappy back on when I changed his poop one so he has his underpants on again. I took him to the potty and got him to have a wee. Just now in the garden he takes his under pants off clasps his willy in between his thumb and middle finger only and proceeds to wee, all down his left leg but so so cute how he holds his willy to wee. He's obviously just picked that up from watching Daddy wee.

Now I just put Cv's nappy back on because it's getting cold so he tries to put his underpants over the top LOL

Oh ladies...i thought this was so cute. Addy comes into the kitchen with my bag on her shoulder saying; bye bye mama! I going to top (shop)!

Vix I wanted to mail u but my email is still down. I have so many newborn vests that I got from my friend.my sister looked thru everything and she couldn't believe how the vests look brand new even! So I'll count them. There's also some newborn summer outfits. So once I count them u can add that to your list and I'll include it with the non surprise baby showers we do now!lol. That's if u don't mind second hand...but I promise u won't know it by looking at the stuff.

Mandy I just polished the leftover pudding...yummy!

So I made breyani, vegetarian pasta and veg.the pasta was for Addy...she ate the mushrooms out then didn't want it. Then she found a breyani spoon and ate off there. So I dished for her and mixed some butternut in cause it was quite strong. She asks me:egg mama? (there's always hard boiled eggs in it but I didn't have). So I said: there's no egg baby. She goes: egg all gone!

I thought it was cute that she knows there's supposed to be egg in it!!
