Vix, I also don't believe in leading my life that way but I am also abit weary of having my tubes tied etc. I'm thinking of having a Mirena inserted but I want to do more research etc.

C says if he had medical aid he would go RIGHT NOW to get a vasectomy. He says he doesn't want anymore kids and he knows he won't so he says he doesn't mind doing it. He says in today's times it's hard to just raise 2 kids what about 3 or 4. ALthough I always thought I would have 3 kids, the idea of a newborn terrifies me to death now lol

We've had a really relaxed day. Went shopping this morning with Abi and got 6 Jumbo packs Huggies Dry Comfort. Now we have 8 so enough for the next 2 months. Then got some DVD's. Watched The Tooth Fairy now, very cute, very kid friendly and then tonight we'll watch Up In The Air with George Clooney. Can't wait to see it. My dad is making steak & chips for dinner..YUM!!

Simone, I don't have a recipe for B&B pudding. I usually use croissants/madeira cake as I'm not crazy about regular bread with it and then I just spread butter and sometimes nutella (YUM!) and then mix a few eggs with some vanilla and cream. Pour over and bake until the custard has kind of set and it's nice and golden. Oooh that reminds me, I wanted to bake an onion bread now so let me go quick.

o.k from my English background this is how i would know the 2

Bread and butter pudding is when you lay whole slices of white bread in a dish with rasins & sultanas in between the layers, mix up and 'egg custard' and pour over the bread slices and bake.

Bread pudding is where you take slices of bread, rip them into pieces and soak in water. Drain off the water when the bread is soaked through, add to a bowl and mix with dry ingredients, eggs, buttter and sultanas & mixed spice and bake in oven.

they actually have the same ingredients just baked very differently.

sorry I'm getting confusing now but i made bread pudding and cut it into slices and eat it cold and my neighbour came round and declared "that's not bread pudding, perhaps i should show you how it's done" and since then I've always been weary that things get lost in translation.

Simone- i was just looking through Leigh's FB page

www.facebook.com/album.php?id=3617525770...098?__a=5&ajaxpipe=1

Stunning stunning cakes! wish we were in CT!

I prefer not to live my life with thoughts like "what if my Dh out the blue goes spastic and kills all my children" or even "what if the school bus crashes and all my children die" nope sorry, i will have my tubes tied and in the really really rare event that something horriffic should happen to ALL 3 of my children i will gladly pay R30,000 to have a reversal if i want another child that much.

The MA will pay for steralisation, i have to pay for the pill out of my pocket:

R130 per month x 12 = R1560

R1560 x 25 years (till I'm 53, my mum is only now starting menopause at 54) = R39,000

mmmmmmmmm let me think about this mmmmmmmmm yep medical aid can pay for my steralisation for sure!

Nelria u make a good point. I've never thought about snip or tubes....but maybe because I still wanna have 2 or so more kids.

I've seen on oprah 2 cases of a deranged husband killing the kids and then himself leaving mom alone. The one mom was young, remarried and had more kids. The other was older and could not have...that woman was broken.whereas one mom could 'heal' better cause she had kids to focus one...the older women at that point could not. I was not a mom yet, but I sobbed when I watched it!

So I think I'll also go that route...menopause??

Yoza I hope the kiddies are better!

Lisha lol @ shreyan! Cut his hair?? Ha ha! Obviously the shots and hair cut are equally traumatic! Yay on 10.2kg! Flip when last did Addy weigh that???LMAO!

Leigh lol re: shooting hubby! The cake is cute!!!!!! Do u have view from top?

Vix I'm just picturing u with all these newborns all over the place! Like 10. Of them! Exhausted! Lol.

Well my charity sponsor showed up with cheese grillers and rolls for us for lunch. U'd swear we have no food!lol. And cooldrink and bread. Ag its all terribly degrading and embarrassing...but I'm blessed to have people that care about us.

Mandy hope u get to post the pictures!
